+ -1 moreCalled and left a voice mail to get an estimate for tree removal. They never called back, so I called again a week later- spoke with the owner who told me they were really busy, would get out to do our bid in 7-10 days. That was a month ago and I have heard nothing from them. Did not use.

+ -1 moreBecker Landscaping arrived on time on the scheduled day with the right equipment, trucks, tree machinery, and a skilled crew. Mr. Bill Becker managed the job and delivered the tree services he proposed with no involvement required of the homeowner. Once Mr Becker said the job was done, it was, so all I had to do was write the check. I definitely recommend Becker Landscaping and plan to use them in the future when required.
Description of Work: Cut down and removed a dead oak tree. Plus Becker Landscaping removed fallen wood, trees, brush, and uprooted stumps from our wooded lot.

+ -1 moreBecker Tree and Landscape Service was enthusiastically recommended to us by the previous owners of our home. We asked Mr. Becker to view our property, which has a few acres of trees. Our primary concern was to understand which trees near our house, a number of them that appeared to be dead or in poor health, would need to be taken down to ensure safety and avoid property damage. Mr. Becker is very knowledgeable and professional. Fees are competitive and the quality of service is excellent. We will definitely continue to be a customer of Becker Tree and Landscape Service and we highly recommend them to others for tree and landscape needs.

+ 0 moreProfessional. Tells you the way it is. Gives his opinion but will tell you not to perform something if the cost just isn't worth it. That's a true professional. He only has a few other guys in his company. They won't climb a tree with the spiked shoes so that's huge plus as so many other company's do this which can hurt the trees.
Description of Work: Trimmed a number of trees including some small hollys (15 ft tall). Cut a long branch from a beach tree (roughly 30+ feet up) so that it's branch didn't eventually get in the way. Did some other pruning. Delivered and stacked firewood - 2 traditional firewood holders worth.

+ 0 moreIf I ever need to have any landscaping or tree work done, I shall definitely contact Mr. Becker!! I'm sorry he doesn't do the work that I need! I am deeply grateful to my neighbor and to Mr Becker for preventing what would have no doubt been a costly and futile expense.
Description of Work: I have not met Mr Becker in person, but he has been used by my neighbor, who trusts him implicitly. When I was given a drainage solution that included running a pipe under the neighbor's sidewalk, he contacted Mr Becker for an opinion, as it could have affected a beautiful Crape Myrtle in his yard. When I returned from vacation, I found Mr Becker's card in my door. I called him, and he spent at least 15 minutes on the phone with me. He gave me a recommendation that makes perfect sense for solving my problem. I am confident that the original proposal I received would have, at best, been a band aid and would not have ultimately solved my problem Mr Becker does not do this kind of work himself, or I would have hired him on the spot. I have found two companies that do and have requested estimates from them. Stay tuned for the results!

+ 0 moreBest tree service we have had in 50 years of home ownership. Crew and Mr. Becker arrived precisely on time. Performed work per estimate. Was very considerate of property. Work was done quickly without any unusual or unexpected events. Clean-up was excellent,and it included leaf raking and twig pick-up. This is the second time in a year that we have had Becker Tree Service work at our home. Mr. Becker performs the estimating and provides advice on what should and should not be done. This advice is quite obviously based upon the condition/location of the tree(s) rather than a profit motive - as shown by by his disagreeing with us about the need to remove a tree.

+ -1 moreHe was the arborist hired by my civil engineer to do the tree preservation and canopy calculation reports. It was required by FFX county as part of grading plan. In the end his report was very good as it went through county review with no issues what so ever. I was told that that was no small achievement in itself. I was happy with his work overall, especially since everything turned out so well. He is one of the more professional individuals I have had encountered.
Description of Work: Did a tree canopy survey and calculation and furnished report to county for a new home construction project.

There were two trees that were very tall and very close to the house so, they were very careful while taking it down. They did a great job and cleaned up everything after the work was done.
