They were very good. The pricing was very competitive. Took about a week to finish the project andthey left the area perfect when they were completed.

It's prepaid under some sort of service contract. I don't recall the price. We have been using them for years for routine maintenance, repairs and installation. I am at the age where I get sticker shock with everything, but I think the price is competitive. Price is sometimes something beyond them. It's the manufactures that provides the heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment. They're good. It usually takes 1 person and some of the repairs take 2 people. They know their business. They know what they're doing. They're very professional and on time. What I like is when I talk to them I ask for advice or when there is something to be done what are the alternatives and what makes sense. Which is often an equation of the age of the system. Simply what are the alternatives are available for doing something. Not everything is binary some things make more sense not to spend the money, but to put a new system in. I like to get advice and understanding about my options. I can make up my own mind. I have had experience with them over several years.

ARS has both installed my HVAC and maintained the system for decades. They have always done a highly professional job.

Maybe 3 or 4 people came out to complete this service. It was great service and I'd have them out again. It took a matter of hours for the work to be completed.

They are good. Everything was fine. They were prompt, accurate and reasonable priced. My interactions with them were fine. The work is fine, it’s been since 5 years ago and the furnace is perking along, ditto the air conditioner. The cost was reasonable. I couldn’t find anything wrong. It has been so long ago, who knows what they are doing now. We will have them back to check our A/C this spring. We highly recommend them.

The process went very well from estimate to installation. Their price was reasonable & the technicians who installed our new water heater were excellent. They were punctual, professional, courteous & very careful with the removal of the old water heater. I would definately recommend ARS, they are a top notch company.

They do good work, when we had problems, the contract covered it, and didn't cost us anything. They come within two to three days, if its a breakdown they come right away, but standard within a couple of days.

Expensive, even with an annual service contract. Technician ardently argued for installing an entire new system, which would have cost about 10 times the cost of repair. We chose repair.

Installation went very well. They were prompt and had a different crew working on each installation. Very hot day to be doing this work. Finished in early afternoon. Protected floors well during installation.

I pay $300 a year. That includes maintenance on the humidifier, heat pump and other things, not just the heater. Plus they give me a senior discount.

They give you a 4-hour window and I hate it. Sometimes they miss the 4-hour window and you have to sit here and wait. It's the only thing I don't like about it. They do an excellent job of maintaining my equipment, I give them new filters when they're servicing my equipment and they put them in for me.

The service was under contract. The first time I used them was probably ten years ago.

They came out to do a pre-winter service check. They're coming out now as follow-up. If I can give them an A+ for punctuality, I would. If they tell you they're going to be at 8:05 pm, they'll show up at 8:05 pm. They actually come out at night time. If I have an adjustment problem or something, They'll say I'll be out and they show up whenever they tell you they're going to be there. They're extremely professional, extremely courteous and the good thing about them is they won't sell you a Cadillac if all you need is a Chevrolet and I really like that. It's not like they were trying to drum up business by telling you you need something that you really don't need. I will absolutely use them again.

They were pricey. They were prompt but it really hit the wall harder than the others. We have used them before.

When they came to install the furnace and Central Air Conditioning (CAC), the attic fan having been installed earlier in the morning by a different division, it went fairly smoothly and professionally. At one point I was asked if I had something like a 2 X 4 piece of wood (which they used as a base for a condensation pump), which I did have. I wondered what they would have done if I didn't have it. I also had to ask the workman to cut the drain pipe, going to the pump, shorter. If I hadn't I never would have been able to remove the drain pipe when it was time to clean it. I felt that they should have been smart enough to figure out the correct length, without me noting it. I just found out this past week, after failing county inspection, that they had neglected to check the fuse box to ensure compatibility between the breaker switch and the outside CAC unit. I was over fused, meaning my breaker was significantly higher capacity than required, so it has to be replaced. But to their credit once I notified them they promptly arranged for one of their techs to come out and replace it (he should be here in the morning). Also, it took nearly a month after the equipment was installed before the county came by to do an inspection. That was due, in part, to the person there who handles permitting, being out sick a week with the flu. I don't blame someone for being sick but don't they have someone else who can do that work when someone falls ill? On the plus side I did tell them, before they began, that when they were done I wanted everything explained to me, in terms of operating the equipment and not just leave me a bunch of manuals, and they did exactly that. Overall, I'd say that they are pretty good; maybe even very good. They are part of a national chain so that means they have a lot of resources they can bring to bear. Admittedly, I'm still a bit peeved about nobody getting back to me for a month after the initial estimate so I could even see myself that they are excellent, but I'll need for more time to go by before I can say that. The only thing they are not good at is getting back to you promptly. Whether that is because they overwork their customer service representatives (and the one I dealt with was very nice in person) or just don't care I'm not sure. Sometimes they don't get back to you at all. Admittedly, that might bother me more than others. I will say this. I've lived in this house for over twenty years and now, for the first time, I am truly comfortable here. I should have had the furnace and AC replaced many years ago. Insofar as comfort is concerned everything is great so on that score they did a great job, and given the age of the home and the now obsolete layout of ducts and vents that is not the easiest thing in the world to do, so kudos to them on that score. I'd note that is sort of a preliminary review. I'm signed up to their maintenance plan so I may have more to say in a year or so after I've had a couple of visits.

ARS pulled county permit and did the installation on schedule. However, it failed county inspection and had to be re-installed, so that lower heating element was at least 18 inches off the garage floor. Seems to me that the installers should have known what the code required.

He found no problems and was very thorough.

He was very courteous and did a thorough job. If you need someone to service your furnace before winter I would highly recommend ARS.

Fine but company has changed service contract over the years to omit replacement parts from coverage; technicians aggressively pitch full replacement of units and systems as alternative to repair.
