The company call me right a way after I got the coupon even thought was a Sunday. I schedule for the following week because of the 4th of July holiday. The price was unbeatable! They send Mr. Joseph L. He was punctual and very courteous. He checked 20 points of my A/C system. It is a new unit so I did not want to expend to much money for the tune up. I will definitely use them again.

We returned home from vacation on Saturday afternoon to find HVAC was not cooling properly. We called several Angies List providers, but ARS Manassas was the only one that could guarantee a service call on the same day. Joe M. showed up after a phoning ahead a couple of hours later. He was able to quickly diagnose and fix problem by installing a new Dual Capacitor. He was also very courteous and informative.

Our air conditioner stopped working yesterday in 90 degree weather. The same day, we were having some work done by a contractor who said, "You should call ARS. The do a great job." So, I called them today. I had the first good experience with the young woman who answered the phone. She was friendly, helpful, and before we were through, she offered me a discount on the regular price for a same-day call. The next good experience was when the serviceman -- his name is Ali -- arrived. He was polite, put booties on his shoes when he was inside, and went about asking me questions in a professional way. Just as we were about to go outside to see the unit, it began to rain. Ali explained that since he was working with electricity, he would need to be careful -- and, if necessary, he would come back when the rain stopped. Then, he got his umbrella out of his truck (and I got mine). He opened up the unit, immediately diagnosed the problem, and showed me what had happened -- the capacitor, which looks kind of like a long soup can, was swollen. So, we needed a new capacitor, which is an expensive problem, but as I told myself, it was not as expensive as a new unit. Ali removed the old capacitor and took the new one out of the box. He then took the time (under an umbrella with rain around us) to test the charge on each of the three poles. He replaced the capacitor, tested the installation, and as soon as he re-connected the power, the unit began running. I gave an A in all areas for this company due to its customer service and professionalism.

The service was fantastic. The technician was friendly and professional, explained what he was doing and why. He was at the house for about 45 minutes, told us our system looked good for its age, and left brochures for their service plans and optional add-ons.

This went very well. I called this servicer at 6:00 pm and the servicer arrived around 7:30 pm. The servicer was professional and met all of our requirements. He talked us through everything and explained everything to us. We would definitely use this company again.

- Service call for my 2 year old unit (installed by ARS). $90 (About $40 more than most companies). - Did not show the first day they were scheduled. - Determined my unit needed a chemical power wash. - Unit was just serviced 4 months prior and was told since it was winter they did not was the unit. - Quoted me $384 per unit (~$800 total) - I have two units. - Salesman (I'm mean service man - Ali) was clearly trying to make a sale and not really concerned with customer service. - I declined the service. - Once I declined he decreased his price to $600. - I declined the service again and turned to another local firm who completed the work for $98 total for both units. - Saved $700!!!

I scheduled a day and time frame for them to come a week in advance. They never came. I called and they said they had no record of my scheduling. I must have made my own day and six hour time frame to take out of my schedule. They said they must have lost my paperwork somehow. I gave them another chance and decided to just set up another appointment, 8-2 the next week. I received a call that day at 12:30 saying they will be there in a few minutes. After 2:30 they had still not come. The dispatcher said she didn't know where the guy was. Totally unreliable and unprofessional. There's plenty of other hvac providers out there, these guys are too big to care. I would never recommend them

They are professional, friendly, courteous. They know their stuff. Jobs are done on time, for extremely reasonable price, and if questions do arise, the office staff as well as the maintenance crew go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied. I have nothing but praise for this company.

To the best of my recollection, everything went according to "plan." The ARS employees were punctional, professional and courteous. They made sure that the machinery they used did not mar the floors or the walls. Nothing was broken. All servicing was done in an excellent manner. I had no issues, no complaints.

I have two systems in my house so that is why it costs more than the normal. The service is generally pretty good. They are responsive. They come out and they show up on time. The technicians seem to be thoroughly competent. Since the work area is mostly outside, they leave it pretty much the way it was. There is no trash or anything left. They are pretty good. They have been in business, not necessarily under that name, for at least forty years.

They were on time. I can schedule a window and they will call when I'm the next house. We have a yearly maintenance service. Our contract covers a fall and spring service.

We have a contract with them for seasonal maintenance. They don't charge for services and additional services. I was always impressed with the arrival time. They always service within 24 hours and that is most important to us.

It turned out very well. Scheduling was very easy and convenient. We have a home in Virginia they took care of for us. They were just very responsive. They were able to work through us and our tenants since we are living in another country. They were really good. Very professional and courteous. Would definitely use them in the future.

It was just great. They were prompt. They serviced my heater in the dead of winter immediately. They are reasonably priced.

Everything is fine. They did the work expected and it was good.

Okay. It was rather expensive. They fixed it. It's still working fine. They were dependable.

Their service is always great. I really would give them a very high rating. We have had them for many years and have a contract with them. We did not need to have any further work done and that is typically the case with them. Our furnace is only three years old now. I would recommend them because they always say they will and are prompt. They have good communication and don't do a lot of add on jobs. We have never had any problems; they just seem to do what we need to have done. I don't really have a big comparative price, but I think it is good.

It turned out okay. It took 4 different visits to get it right. I think it should have been done in one install, and I think they should have asked me if I wanted it to run all the time or just when the furnace was running, but it was okay. I will use them again. I have a maintenance contract and I've never had any other issues with them.

I have used them for almost 13 years. They have done a good job. They call you ahead of time and remind me that they will be out soon. They call the day before. They are prompt. They are courteous. Really really responsive.

I've been using them for years. They are very good. I have a service contract with them. They show up on time. They do the job well to keep the systems running. Courteous. I would recommend them because of their reliability.

It went up fine. I ended up buying a service contract for a year to them. I feel like it was within a week. They were very punctual and polite.

I bought an Angie's List "Big Deal" to service my air conditioning system. The technician arrived on time and serviced the AC unit promptly. However, the "Big Deal" was the company's opportunity to come sell me a new heat pump. As I've been told by the previous 7 companies that serviced my HVAC, this tech said my system is on it's last leg, then he promptly tried to sell me a new system. While I appreciate the punctuality and professionalism, I hate these "Big Deals" disguised as an opportunity to upsell me. I won't be purchasing anymore.
