They are very, very responsive. Phil, the owner, is just an honest guy! They replaced the unit about 6-7 years ago and he presented all the options whether or not they were beneficial for him. He gave us what was best for our home, not for his pocket book.

We hired Arctic Sun 3 years ago to install a replacement HVAC unit for our upstairs. The unit seemed like it was well installed and we had no complaints about the actual installation. The only issue with the install was that they put the thermostat in an area upstairs that was not served by the unit so you could not get an accurate temperature in the rooms. We had to point this out to them and at first they didn't grasp the problem. When we bought the unit we were given a 10 year warranty for parts and service in writing. Well, three years later the unit stopped working. We called them and they charged us $99 for a diagnostic. They denied that the warranty also covered labor until we told them we have it in writing from them! They replaced a part and told us they needed to come back in 48 hours after the coils cooled to plug it back in. The technician left wires and parts on the ground outside. When we called them to come out to turn the unit on, they wanted $99 to do that. After arguing with them about it they finally agreed not to charge us. They came out, turned the ac unit on and the compressor locked. They didn't have a replacement compressor so they had to order it. It finally came in and after 3 weeks of no AC upstairs they finally got it back up and running. We also overheard one of the techs ask the other if he was going to vacuum out the debris in the outside unit and he said he didn't want to get the vacuum dirty! On their paperwork they indicated that as part of their service they had vacuumed it out! Needless to say we cannot recommend Arctic Sun at all and will never do business with them again. The technician who did our original install seemed competent and honest. He no longer works there and I can only assume he got tired of the way the rest of the staff conducts themselves.

They are very responsive and very customer service oriented. I think their price is fair. I would absolutely use this provider in the future.

One of the nicest companies I've worked with in a long time. They came highly recommended by my real estate agent. The service person arrived on time, and was extremely polite and professional. We'd recently moved into the home, and he came to inspect the 2 HVAC units on the property. He gave a very detailed assessment of all problems with the units. At our request, the office typed up additional details on repair versus replacement costs for us to share with out landlord. Spent extra time explaining each problem to me in detail. Peggy (the dispacher in the office) is extremely pleasant, courteous, and responsive. The repair costs are extremely reasonable. Would go with them in a heartbeat for replacement or repair.

This is one of the best companies I've dealt with in a long time. The lady handling calls was very pleasant and efficient in providing true estimates on time/price. The HVAC technician was patient and took the time to answer all my questions/concerns despite the late hour.

I asked around before calling Arctic Sun even though their name is on my furnace. I signed up for annual survace at their silver level, which Bill arrived on time, performed cleaning and maintenance on my external unit. He showed me that the existing contactor was burned, and explained that failure would cause the compressor to fail, which would cost over $1,000. I ok'd it and he replaced that on the spot for $151. Excellent service - he'll be back in the Fall to check the heating system.

Technician arrived on time and appointment was set with flexibility to accommodate our schedule since we both work. Tech put on shoes covers to avoid tracking in dirt, water, etcetera: areal plus that many do not pay attention to. He advised me on the pricing and maintenance plans before he even started, another positive aspect. Finished in reasonable time and accepted an Angie's List 20% coupon: a definite plus! Only negative input is the main reason for the visit was to remedy a furnace that was not reacting appropriately to the thermostat. Problem persists even after cleaning. Company called and coming back to address again with same day response.

I can't be any more pleased with this service. They did everything perfectly. They received the wrong furnace unit from their providers which was more expensive than the one I wanted and he offered to install it and then we split the difference, so I got a really nice furnace with a touch-screen thermostat for a really good price thanks to these guys. They were neat, they tied all the cables down so it looked neater.

I MADE AN APPOINTMENT ON THE WEEKEND AND THEY CAME OUT IMMEDIATELY. THE WORKER IMMEDIATELY RESOLVED THE PROBLEM. THE AIR CONDITIONER WORKS PERFECT NOW. I HAVE GIVEN HIS NAME TO MY NEIGHBORS.
