 + -1 moreTony did a wonderful job. He not only completed the work as we had discussed (fixing a crack on the top of the dresser, repairing the mirror and refinishing), he went above and beyond. He cleaned and refinished the hardware and added drawer stops, among other things. Tony also repaired a broken leg on a small antique table. You can't even tell it was ever broken. I would use Tony again in a heartbeat.

 + -1 moreTony's work is very reasonably priced and his quality is excellent. He is straightforward about what he can and can't do for a given piece; he has done this kind of work for a very long time, and he is customer-service oriented. The blanket chest had darkened with age but Tony was able to restore it to a color that was compatible with the original wood AND that also suited me too (I don't like my furniture too dark). For the hutch, Tony asked that I give him an idea of the color I wanted and I found a wood picture frame I had around the house that he was able to use as a color guide. I love furnishing my home with vintage and antique furniture, but it is rare to find such pieces in mint condition. It's great to know that if I find a piece that needs some fixing up, Tony can probably do the job and skillfully too.
Description of Work: Refinishing of an antique blanket chest I bought from Craigslist, staining a large mirror I bought from Ebay, minor repairs to three antique nesting tables, darker staining of a meditation bench, refinishing of a hutch with open top
