All-Star Duct Cleaning

I called and spoke to the owner, Jenny, to make an appointment. I had to wait 2 weeks before they had an opening. This is a family owned business so they really care to do a good job. Jenny was very nice and told me to call if I had any questions or concerns. They called ahead of time to tell me that they would be here in 30 minutes. They were punctual. There were 2 men. They explained how their portable vacuum was more powerful than a truck mounted one. It was as bis as a tall dresser. We went down to the basement where my furnace, and he opened the vacuum and showed me the different filters in it. The first filter would trap large items and allowed small particles to filter down into the second filter. Both filters were a clean white color. They used an air compressor to loosen the dust in the ducts and blow it towards the vacuum. Everything took a little over 3 hours. They showed me all the debris that came out of my ducts. They were very detailed in cleaning up behind them and even put a drop cloth on my hard wood floors. After they left I went into the basement and notice holes had been drilled into my duct work and then capped with a rubber cap. I was concerned and researched it on my computer. I found out that it was the most thorough way of cleaning the ducts. I noticed one hole wasn't capped so I called jenny. She made another appointment with me and both Jenny and her technician came to the home. They checked to make sure all the other holes had caps and put a new cap on the hole I found. Everyone I dealt with at this company was very professional. They knew what they were doing and did it well. They were also pleasant to deal with as well as promptly dealing with my concerns. I will definitely call them again to clean my ducts the next time.

Russell and Julian could not have been more polite or helpful. They answered any question I had and they were tremendously professional. They cleaned up after themselves so well you wouldn't have know workmen had been at the house. They worked quickly and efficiently and didn't even mind my two large dogs (one especially friendly) looking over their shoulders while they worked. I had no worries about strangers being in my house and I can already tell the air smells fresher and my haunting fears of dryer fires has disappeared. I would use them again in a second and have already recommended them to three other people. Thank you for your wonderful service.

This went well. I requested tat they not go through the attic and they accommodated my request and cleaned the vent from an outside location.

They arrived ahead of time and promptly began to work. Drop cloths were used to protect the floors. The work took about 90 minutes. They were professional. They put most things back. I am happy.

The service was fabulous and they were really good. They came in and took care of everything. When they left, it was all nice and clean. They did a great job. I couldn't have asked for better. I had two units, so they gave me the second unit for the same price as they did for the first. It didn't bother me because with two units, it would have been very expensive. They came and covered where they were cleaning. There was no mess. They always had something on the feet. They got all the dust out of ducting and furnace. They were on time. They were wonderful. I didn't mind having them in my house. They went above the business.

These guys were great. They were prompt, professional, and informative. They explained everything they were doing and what they found in the process. Will definitely be calling them for service in the future.

It was fine. They were in and out fast! They said it would be an extra $200 to sanitize the mold problem and they had told me that upfront when I asked about the mold. I was concerned with mold and them accidentally spreading mold spores in the course of what they were doing, but I feel that they took care of that properly. We had to re-schedule a few times, but they were flexible with my schedule changes. We haven't had any problems since their service. We definitely see an improvement.

I bought this through an Angie's List special. It took a bit for me to get it scheduled. Email did not seem to work well for this. When I got a person they were friendly and helpful. Very friendly crew. Russell was the lead. He introduced himself and his teammate, explained the procedure and toured the home. From there they worked very independently. I told them they didn't need to wear shoe covers. You could tell they were used to wearing them. I wasn't expecting an extra $200 for sanitizing but I guess that's my own fault for not reading the fine print. It would have been nice if they had talked to me about that on the scheduling call. I'd probably use them again, but I'd get all their prices ahead of time and call a few others to make sure their prices are in the same range.

Went well. Arrived on-time, got to work, cleaned up, and left. Pleasant experience.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out pretty well, given the circumstances. They had to come back because they had disconnected something and did not put it back together the way it was. They came out shortly after I purchased the deal. It seems like they kind of rushed their service and could have taken their time a little further to see what some of the issues were.

It went pretty well and I'd use them again. They showed me the dirt and dust they removed. The price was pretty competitive, too. They were right on time (which is very important to me) and were responsive as well. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions.

This provider was punctual, friendly and thorough in their work. The two service providers put down protective covers on our hardwood floors. They showed and explained to me their equipment and what they were going to do. They showed me the end result of the amount of dust and dirt that was retrieved. I highly recommend this service provider and would use them again.

I was very happy with the final outcome. I thought they were very respectful of my home and my belongings. Jenny reassured me they would be very careful and wore booties. The gentleman told me ahead of time what they were going to do. They did what they said they were going to do and were very efficient. They did not make a mess. The service was nice and straight-forward and they didn’t try to sell me anything else. I found them to be very trustworthy.

They were down here with the big machine. I guess it’s clean. It was very satisfactory. It just went very quickly and they cleaned the ducts.

They never contact me. They were supposed to call me within 2 business days. I'm getting deal refunded.

Crew was polite, professional and on time (actually first time that any service provider has arrived promptly at 8AM). All ducts were camera inspected and cleaned with high velocity vacuum system. The crew left the premises without any damage or dirt in the house. I would use this company again.

They did an excellent job, I'm very happy with the job they had done. I don't remember the date that I have serviced.

They were supposed to clean our air ducts but wanted to cut a whole in our brand new furnace air ducts. I told they I didn't want them to do that so I didn't have them perform the work.

They followed up with me after I had purchased the big deal and to get something scheduled. They arrived on time for the appointment. They were incredible efficient. They were very clean in my home and made sure to wear booties. They left no mess behind. I am very happy with their service. I would recommend their service.

Highly professional work on more duct work than they anticipated. They were here more than four hours. They took great care in protecting my flooring and expertly removed and replaced all my vents and intake panels.

They were very nice, very neat and clean. There was no issue with scheduling. My dryer is working like a dream. I paid extra for a new connection because the one I had, had holes in it.

It went pretty good. If I had to say anything it would be that I paid the guy who came out extra to do the laundry dryer vent. When I originally looked at the deal, I thought that it pretty much covered everything and it did not but other than that, he did a job well done. He was pretty efficient. He got in and did what he needed to do and when it got done, he got out. He also pretty much told me what he was doing every step of the way. The final cost was probably double the price of the original deal. The original deal was for one system and I have two so I basically had to pay extra for the second system. The way that the cost elevated could have been an issue but I was going to get it done anyway. My house was structured that way. I think that most of the newer townhouses these days have two systems. I would advice other Angie's List members who are considering this contractor to ask questions upfront like if there is an additional cost for the another system for instance. But as I looked at the deal, I remember that there was a note in there about a second system and how much it would cost. I do not have anything to compare his price to but it was average and he was also definitely on time.
