Description of Work: I bought a deal from them for whole house air duct cleaning.

Description of Work: All-Star Duct Cleaning arrived when they said they would and were very professional. They did a great job cleaning our ducts. No complaints!

Description of Work: I had signed up for an Angie's List Big Deal for a $199.00 whole house air duct cleaning in December of 2012 and at my request we left it that I would call to schedule the work a few months later, but before the expiration. That went fine. I called in March and set up a date and time with the company. On the day in question, the team turned up a few hours early, at the very start of the day and before I was ready. It seemed someone else had cancelled at the last minute, and so they just came on over without contacting me first. I didn't appreciate that, but they were on my doorstep, so I had them go ahead. They appeared to be doing what they should be doing. It's one of those things where it is really hard to know exactly how effective such a project is. As they were finishing up, they asked if I wanted them to use an Envirocon Sanitizer. Since we have family members with allergies, I thought that might be a good idea. They told me how much it would be, and it seemed very expensive, and I assumed it would be something quite extensive in the way of a process. It ended up costing $200.00 extra, and I think was nothing more than a bottle of stuff that got shot through the system very quickly. Whether or not it accomplished anything or not is hard to know. The odor -- which was quite pleasant -- only lasted for a few hours.

Description of Work: They cleaned my ducts. Good price for duct cleaning $239. Then they found a dead mouse inside the inside unit. $150 to insure system is properly cleansed from a possible deseased rodent. Then they notice mold (?) which would take an additonal $500 to take care of that.Although the work was done well I thought, it just seemed like one surprise after another. Don't think I can afford another 'deal'.

Description of Work: The workers arrived on time and clearly explained what they were going to do. They cleaned out our air duct system and our dryer vents. This had not been done since this house was moved into over 10 year ago. Plus, we have two hairy dogs to add to the mix and the mess. I was shocked by the amount of debris that came out of our ducts. Our air is cleaner, I dust less, and the overall snoring in the house has dropped to minimum levels. The two men that came were personable, professional, friendly and hard workers. There were no hidden fees and the price we were quoted was the price we paid.I believe we will be using them in the future to clean our vents every year or so to keep the air quality clean. It really has made a difference.Thank you.

Description of Work: We are extremely happy with the work done by All-Star Duct Cleaning. They showed up timely, worked efficiently and explained everything along the way. They found a bit of mold spores on a few of our vents and recommended an additional service (at an additional cost) to help with that; however, we never felt pressured to buy anything additional. In the end, we purchased the additional service and are very happy with everything that was completed. Going forward, we won't have anyone else clean our ducts.

Description of Work: Professionally rehooked up my dryer vent through only a 11.5" by 11.5" hole that I had provided as access through a bathroom in a finished basement area. Both of the associates including the owner worked together very well. After the connection was completed they thoroughly cleaned the line out.

Description of Work: They were wonderful. They put covers over their shoes to protect the floors & even shortened my dryer exhaust hose for more efficient exit of lint & air circulation.

Description of Work: They cleaned (1) of my (2) HVAC units, I didn't know at the time of purchase that the advertised price was for a single-unit vice both units. Therefore, I elected not to pay the additional cost at full price and just cleaned the one unit. The company was on-time and professional, they explained exactly what their procedure was and completed it, in a timely fashion. They were very careful and clean.
