I purchased an $89 dryer vent cleaning deal on Angie's List for All Star Duct Cleaning. From scheduling the appointment to the completion of the task, the service was superb and they did a great job. They were very professional and finished the service quickly and cleanly. Would definitely use again.

Straight forward. They came and cleaned our dryer vents. No fuss no muss.

The crew of two people arrived at my house with their vacuum truck. They came in to assess the layout and situation, taking care to put on shoe covers in the house. They then explained the procedure and started the dryer vent cleaning by going to the spot where it evacuates from the house and running a long, high pressure air tool into the pipe to blow out the lint. They then came to a spot closer to the dryer and inserted the hose into the line there, in both directions, to get rid of the lint from the remainder of the line, terminating at the back of the dryer. Overall, a ton of lint came out of the line and the dryer seems to be working great following the service. I have not had experience with other dryer vent cleaning businesses, but All-Star duct cleaning seemed to do a great job and I am happy with the service.

tis was advertised as whole house air duct cleaning. when they arrived at my home they inidicated i did not read the small print that they only did one system and i have zone heating/ac with two furnaces. so it would be an addl $299 to do my upstairs unit. you need to clarify what the deal is as i felt mislead.david karlson

Unfortunately the truck had a flat tire when they were supposed to be at my home, but the office called and alerted me to the problem and assured me they would be here as soon as possible. When they arrived they apologized profusely and proceeded to put on their shoe covers and went from room to room asking that we point out all of the vents. They laid tarps on the floor to protect it and did a very thorough job with each vent. They vacuumed the carpet before they left. Professional and polite.

What was interesting was one of the things I especially wanted was my dryer duct cleaned and they tell me that it has an extra charge. When they started cleaning the ducts, they told me that I had molds in some of the ducts and they would take care of that and that was an extra $200. I ended up costing us an extra $275. If I had mold, I so glad they got rid of it and it is worth $200 to me. I thought the deal was all ducts in the house so I was surprised when he said that did not include the dryer. I would be interesting to know if anyone else has the same types of experiences with them. They were very nice, polite and efficient. I had no complaints about the people that were here at all. I would just really like to know if I really did have molds. They seem very professional and their manner was very nice. They were on time. They were here when they were supposed to be.

Came on time. Used high pressure air to blow out ducts. They removed a ton of lint, dust, etc. believe we really got our monies worth from these guys.

This was a great experience. Before purchasing the deal I called Russell to see if he could come out on a specific date I had in mind and he said it was not a problem. I was a little worried since he said he was on a job and didn't appear to write anything down or take my name, but sure enough he and his crew came at the exact right time a week later. Russell came in, put on paper booties and surveyed the ducts and explained what they would do and how long it would take. His crew then followed, put on protective booties and set to work. They were all very cordial and pleasantly chatty (this was great because I had a ton of questions). They did the work and cleaned up thoroughly. If I wasn't in the house at the time of work, there is no way I would have known they were there or what work they did. Even though this was purchased via an Angie's List deal, Russell still gave me a receipt for my files. I would hire this company again.

The workers showed up for the job. They talked me through what they were going to do and then performed the job. The process does require cutting holes in your HVAC system but they do patch them as part of the process. It is in order to give the machine access to the duct work. The workers were kind. They wore protective coverings for their feet so that they didn't track any dirt or anything from outside the home into the home. They cleaned every vent in the house.

They were very professional. At the outset, Russell explained what they were going to do, and he and his team then went ahead and performed the work. They removed the air vents and returns carefully so as not to mess up the paint, and completed the work in what seemed to be an efficient manner. They were also very helpful with our two cats, alerting us so that we could move them as needed from one area of the house to the other so as to minimize stress. While we had contracted for air duct and dryer vent cleaning only they found some mold when they cleaned the furnace and recommended a procedure to remove the mold and sanitize the ducts. This cost extra and we have no way of knowing if the price for this was competitive. But we would use this company again. They were very professional and Russell is very personable.

They came in with booties on so no dirt would track through the house. They were very professional and thorough. Nothing was messed up and everything was left as it was before they came. I would highly recommend them.
