All-Star Duct Cleaning

I wasn't very happy with the job. After they left there was dryer lent EVERYWHERE. I didn't realize that would be the case or else I would have taken different steps to prepare. In the future I think they should alert customers of what to expect. Also, they left the duct to the back of the dryer disconnected and with a bunch of lint in it. When I turned on the dryer, the lint started to heat and I thought there was a fire. My husband had to clean out the rest of the vent and then reconnect the duct. We wouldn't use them again.

That was good. They did a good job cleaning the ducts.

Work was completed on time and quickly. They were very polite. The owner was the one doing the work.

They did exactly what was promised.

We bought this old house in 1999, and had AC installed. We have not had the ducts cleaned, ever. I have really bad allergies, and we have cats (don't judge!) so the Duct Cleaning deal seemed like an opportunity. They showed up on time and had all of their equipment, they cleaned up after themselves and things went well. It is my own fault, but I did not drill down sufficiently as to what additional services were going to cost. So while the cost as specified on Angies List was honored, the additional things, like spraying some stuff to stop the growth of mold and something else equally important sounding, were add-on's. The total came as a surprise to me, a bit of a shock, but I blame myself for not asking specifically how much more this or that would be. They did a good job, I plan have them back again in a few years. And most important, I've had a less awful allergy season this year than previous years. Overall, it was worth the money it cost. However, to avoid the gasp of sticker-shock, ask how much extra additional things are going to cost as they are suggested. And, be prepared to pay for it. Whatever they did, it has worked and I am grateful.

I called All-Star around 11:15 or so because our appointment was for 11 am, and I hadn't heard anything. The young lady who answered assured me that the crew was on their way, and they arrived shortly after. They explained everything that needed to be done and got to work right away. Were done within an hour and a half, which is the time they estimated. They also showed my husband and I the dust, etc that was in our ducts. Fortunately, even though we have been in the house almost 20 years and never had this service performed, the ducts were in good shape! They also offered to look at the dryer vent; however since ours exits right at the outside wall, there was very little dryer dust - we were advised to make sure that the exit remained clear.

This is a great company! I would recommend them to everyone. We were in the middle of an extensive home remodel so it was important to have our air ducts cleaned prior to moving into the home because of all of the dust. Unfortunately, with all renovations, nothing is ever on schedule and I had to reschedule this service several times. Thankfully, the woman who manages the appointments was very nice and accommodating every time. On the day of the service, we had pretty severe weather with the electricity often going out. The technician called early in the morning to say he could still come and clean the air ducts but wanted to first make sure it was still convenient for me. He was so professional and I really appreciated the call. Such a nice touch! We kept the appointment and the technician arrived on time (something that rarely happens)! There was a lot of work being done in the house (electricians, plumbers, painters, etc) and these guys were unfazed. They went straight to work on all of our ducts. We live in an older home and have A LOT of vents and returns...much more than new house construction. Again, these guys never complained once. Yes, that is something that one would expect from service professionals, but after a year long remodel, it is not something that often happens. Cannot sing their praises enough!

Efficient service to clean all air ducts with a minimum of disruption in household. Workers were considerate of surroundings and wors shoe protectors at all times. Satisfied with this company and would use them again.

My experience with All-Star Duct Cleaning was fine. They were clean. The work met my expectations.

We had an address discrepency but once that was resolved they went to work. I was so amazed at what was in those vents! I could not even imagine how bad they were until I saw it for my self. They went through and systematically cleaned each one, room by room. They were courteous, consciousntious, and didn't mind answering questions as they went along or letting me watch what they were doing.

Job went as scheduled. they were punctual, pleasant. Office contact was very professional and accurate about the service. We'd use them again. The price was discounted 50% and we bought 2 since we have 2 units. a good deal we think.

They arrived on time. They were extremely clean and they were very careful when moving furniture. They explained everything they were going to do in detail. They worked quickly but they were very thorough. We immediately noticed less dust in our home so we feel that the service was definitely worthwhile.

It was a very good experience. They showed me the amount of debris in the ducts. They showed me the appropriate use of the ventilation system. They showed me which vents should be open and which vents should be closed. How often they should be cleaned. They paid meticulous attention to detail. There was a lot of teaching done. I would use this provider again.

Two men arrived on time and put on shoe covers. The men interacted well with our two lively dogs and were not bothered by their barking or active behavior. We discussed what needed to be done and told them we thought we might have some mold in ducts. They did find mold and told us what they would need to do and the additional cost. They moved furniture as needed and worked for about 3 hours. They then cleaned up and returned everything to its original position. They were very professional, pleasant, efficient, and clean. I would definitely use them again.

The company was very responsive when I had to change the date of service. They showed up on time, set up quickly and efficiently and explained the process to me. I was pleased they cleaned the individual vents with a shop vac and cleaned up after themselves. All of the workers were very polite and pleasant. All my questions were answered and it was overall a positive experience. I used a Big Deal coupon but I don't feel they skimped in anyway.

The guys showed up as promised and did a fine job. It went a lot quicker than I thought it would. Left a little dust, but that was not unexpected. Generally, they were neat. I have white carpeting so I was worried, but they put tarps down and vacuumed afterwards.

The crew from All-Star were very thorough. They were also careful in removing vent covers that had been painted on with multiple coats of paint. They showed me what had been collected at the end of the job (good thing we had it done) and did a good job of cleaning up. They advised me about changing A/C filters after a duct cleaning, which was helpful and necessary as they had explained. Very professional and courteous.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. There was an additional $200 for the disinfectant. The 3 young men that provided the service were incredibly gracious and very accommodating. I will use them again and I would recommend them.

The work was fine, but they left behind a few tools in my house. And when I contacted the company about picking them up, they said, we'll get out for that and they never followed back up with me.
