All-Star Duct Cleaning

All-Star Duct cleaning was excellent! They showed up on time, were polite and completely professional. They worked quickly and made sure to show us the results they captured in their hepa-filtration machine. After, the entire house smelled good and we will be sure to use them again in the future. HIGHLY reccomended.

The crew was punctual during both visits. However, I had to schedule a second visit because the crew did not bring a ladder long enough the first time to reach the dryer vent duct near the second floor. Overall, the technician was professional and courteous. I will likely use All-Star again in the future.

I think it went well. They cleaned the vents, picked up after themselves. I haven't had any issues or any reason to think they didn't do a good job.

They did a good job but didn't have a ladder to clean dryer vent and install bird guard. While high marks for coming back to do the job, you would think they would have their own ladder.

They came within an acceptable response time. They came and attached some kind of huge hose to the ducts and they were here for about an hour. They suggested that I get some kind of mold treatment or something and at first I was going to do it but then I looked it up and it said that they generally recommended that to everyone but it really was not that necessary. I did not feel that I was being ripped off but just encouraged to do something that I do not necessarily need. They were very very nice. My cats were freaked out and the guy that I interacted with was funny about it. We just joked about it. He was very very nice. I do not really have any basis of comparison for their pricing and the quality of their work. In other words, I have no idea what a bad quality job is and I have no problems with the air vents. The price was a good deal.

They did a good job. Very professional. My only issue was that a register was not re-installed properly in my kitchen. This has led to food prep issues. I would like this fixed.

The technician was excellent. He gave a thorough explanation of the procedure and the house was left clean, just the way he found it. I will definitely recommend them.

The service was fine and the techs were very polite and thorough. However, I was really annoyed to find out that the "whole house service" I'd scheduled only applied to the first floor. The fine print says that the coupon I used was only good for one system, but a little more clarification would be nice about what a "system" actually includes. One of the techs said this has been a consistent problem and that he'd asked the company to clarify it in their adverts. I would have appreciated knowing that the call was going to cost me twice what I'd anticipated.

This was a hard review since all didn't go well but in the end we were satisfied. First, I want to say we were very pleased they were able to fit us in the afternoon we called since they had a commercial job that would be done in the morning. We had found some mold around one of our vents so we were glad they were willing to come so soon. Unfortunately, they said their video camera to look into the ducts was not working, which was disappointing. However, the 2 men who came out were very nice and worked very hard in very hot conditions. Since it was very hot outside and the work involved being in the sweltering attic, after working for a couple hours the guys were sweating profusely. So we all were concerned about the heat and they decided to stop for the day and continue the next day, which was fine. When they returned the next day they found the tape that sealed the vents in preparation for the cleaning, pulled off the ceiling paint after being left on all night. Then one of the men must have accidently stepped on the ceiling while in the attic and damaged our bedroom ceiling but their insurance has paid for the repairs and repainting of the ceiling so that has been fixed. Another disappointment we noticed after they left, even though they did vacuum our bedroom floor when they were done, was that I had to vacuum my clothes in the closet where the attic access was, to remove fiberglass insulation, even though they said it wasn't necessary to cover them. We also discovered 2 of the 6 replaced ducting's were too small when we felt the air coming out of the vent seemed less than normal, but they did come back soon after to replaced them with the correct size. We don't know why they didn't notice they were too small when they were installing them. Maybe the miserable heat contributed to them wanting to be done with the job in a hurry and I can't say I blame them. The men did work hard and the owner was apologetic about the damage and good about getting his insurance to pay for the damage, but the whole job should have gone smoother than it did. Mistakes were made but as long as a company makes sure all mistakes are corrected, that's what's important.

Outstanding experience. I was contacted within a day after my purchase. The front office people were friendly and responsive. I needed to have the work done quickly and they were able to schedule a service call as soon as I was available. The work was done professionally and they cleaned up well after they were done.

Was a little late because of traffic. Did call to let me know. Was very neat in his work. Had to take large machine down basement and was very careful not to hit walls. Was helpful in letting me know what he had found and recommended a dehumidifier.

They were able to clean the dryer vent from outside the house and because of the type of hose and connection I have, they didn't even need to come in the house. Everything went smoothly.

Just loved the professionalism of these guys, they were held up on the day of the appointment, they called to say they were going to be late (through no fault of their own), I spoke to Jenny who is a star, we had to rescheduled for today, they showed up early, and did not charge for the bird cage, helpful friendly great team, will put them on my list of must use again and pass on their details to my neighbor's.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. Everything seemed find about them. Their price was pretty inexpensive.

They were very professions, prompt, and clean. They took care to remove vents that had been painted over without ripping the paint and so that things could be put back in the same order the were found. I'd definitely use All Star Duct Cleaning again.

Jenny in the office is stellar. She always had the dates and details correct. I accepted a 100.00 dryer vent coupon on Angie's list. When I called Jenny I told her specifically that I needed the 40 ft ladder to do the outside part of the job in reaching the outside vent. I called before the appointment to make sure her crew knew this and she said they did. Russell came on time for the afternoon appointment but did not have the ladder. He apologized and said he would do it for free then next day at 8:00 am. I don't like for people to labor for free, so I said how about if we just make it $50.00 instead of free. So Jenny explained that Russell had the check with him to give me the next day for the difference. Well Russell showed up with 2 helpers to man the 40 foot ladder. He however forgot the check which Jenny had for him in the office to bring to me. He again offered to do it for free, this time I said OK. True to her word, Jenny called me and told me the refund check was in the mail. The company was courteous and prompt. They were very careful and clean when doing the job.They wear little foot booties in the home. I have no problems at all, except when I told them I needed the 40 ft ladder and the crew did not listen to Jenny and bring it. Other than that, they did all they could to serve me as a customer. They are worth a try because of the personal courtesy they give over the phone and on the job.
