Very unprofessional, dishonest, and rude; look elsewhere. The owner, J. Alfaro, came to my house for a paint estimate request. His used-car-salesman tactics should've been a red flag but I hired him anyway because he was readily available. I had chosen 4 colors from 2 paint palettes. Just one day before the start of the project, he demanded that I limit my paint colors to only two. When I declined, he arbitrarily changed the paint brand to a cheaper option. Alfaro was argumentative and went on a tirade about being "golden" and having a long waiting list of customers should I decide not to give in to his demands. His ultimatum was that I either use only 2 colors or pay an additional $1000 for 2 more colors. I fired him for being insolent and dishonest. I found a more competent, honest, and professional contractor.
