First of all, we knew the septic needed pumping because we have a back flow in the basement, so we had already gotten off to a bad start that morning. We called and they came out that same day. That was the easy part. To shorten an incredibly long story, once he got there and started probing, we found that the former owners had damaged the lid and fabricated a new one without leaving an access point for pumping. It was a disaster. None of us had ever seen anything like it - even the driver and a supervisor that came out. We ended up cutting a new access point so they could pump the tank, but the whole process took well over three hours. Our appointment was the last one of the day, but both of them stayed until it was done - off the clock - to help us solve our problem. The honesty and genuine caring shown by the employees of this company has me sold. If I have any septic issues from now on, they will be my first call.

They were great! The scheduling was prompt and they showed up when they said they were going to show up. The technician was helpful in describing the work that needed to be done and I didn't regret it. They performed very well.

They were incredibly responsive. We had a septic emergency and I called a bunch of different companies, they were the first one to call me back and to come look at the problem. They ultimately did not do the work and we ended up going with another company to do the work. The ballpark estimate was pricey compared to what I wanted to spend, but I think it was in the same ballpark as what other people would have said, it was less than what somebody else had told me, but like I said it was just more of a range thing. He was good. He was very responsive. He followed up more than any body else and continued asking for the opportunity to do the work. We ended up for other reasons going with another company, but it was not for lack of him, it was more kind of external reference and history of the property. It was an emergency and so we needed somebody to come out and look really quickly to figure out what was going on. I called three or may be four companies; he was the first to respond.

It went great. There were on time and had to dig a little deeper and clean out extra waste but we were expecting that and the additional fees were explained and reasonable.

Company is professional, punctual and very friendly. I informed the person performing the work I had never owned a home with septic. She showed me what to do in case of an emergency with our septic and explained how the septic works. She also informed us about what NOT to flush down our septic. I was very grateful for all the information and time she spent with me explaining everything to me. I will use them again in a few years (when necessary) and can HIGHLY recommend their service

Awoke Monday morning to find septic alarm going off. We tried hand pumping, but alarm would not reset, indicating pump issue. Called Aits among other companies. An Aits truck and employee, Diane, showed up tp check out the system "because she had been in the general area on another call". She took time to inspect the tanks and the system, confirming that the pump was broken. She appologized that she could not pump at that time, but that they were short-handed. She promised someone would return today. We were also contacted by Penny from the office as follow-up. Tuesday morning, today, a different driver and truck showed up, pumped out both tanks (in a deluge of rain) and promised they would return Thursday to install new pump and floats(if needed). Amazing people and service!

Diane came out and was very knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. Very happy with the service.

I really needed tank pumped on short notice and they came within an hour and a half. That is really difficult for them to arrange given the logistical nature of their business. Will use them from now on.

Every time we called they did the job that day or next day.

Every four to five years, we have always called on AITES Septic Services to empty our septic tank. They are always punctual and courteous. We have not used other septic service companies because AITES have always been reliable to us.

We have used AITS for years--arrive on time--good work.

First contact with company resulted in scheduled appointment. Provider showed up exactly on time. The driver introduced himself and went to work locating the septic tank. All in all the driver was very professional; returned the area where digging occurred to its original state; explained the service performed and gave some advice for the future.

AITS did a wonderful job at my house and would use them again.

Rick was very knowledgeable about the repairs needed, and tried to explain their steps to me. He was very good at managing all of the other people who needed to get involved in the job, and he kept in touch with me along the way. Rick communicated with the county for the inspection himself, and even drove to the county building to pick up paperwork rather than waiting on the mail. My only frustration came on on the lack of communication about the cost and my options and timeline to pay. Before work started, Rick gave me an estimate range of up to $7,600. About half way through the job, he mentioned to me they had ran into some issues and he expected the cost to be on the upper end of the estimate, which was fine. On the last day of the job however, Rick said to me "okay I am ready to get paid, and I would like to get $7,800". This was a bit of a shock and I just felt confused as there was no invoice describing labor hours, materials, etc. In addition, I had expected to pay for half of the job by credit, but Rick said I could only pay by cash or check. I now understand many contractors do not accept credit card as a form of payment because of the fees, but this is my first house, and my first interaction with a contractor, so I had no clue. After all of this he seemed disappointed that I needed to cut a separate check for the last half a few days later. I guess I do not blame him, but I did not know I would be paying on that day, that the cost would be over the estimate, and that I could not use a credit card. My last frustration was that Rick left the job before the back ho was done filling in the yard from all of the digging. They did make an effort to collect the old piping along the way, but more was uncovered as the guy on the back ho filled in my yard and he chose to leave all of it for me to pick up. I was overall satisfied, and would rate Aits Septic Repair as an "A". I just encourage Rick to communicate better on payment due dates and options. That is an easier conversation to have when a customer receives the initial estimate.

They were quite good and did an excellent job. They came promptly and were quite professional.
