Adam Contracting

Justin came by to evaluate the job on a Saturday morning after missing our initially scheduled meeting, getting hung up on another project. He was pleasant and knowledgeable about what was needed to complete the job. He promised an estimate by Monday and followed through on that promise. He was able to work us in within a couple of days later. He and his two man crew hung the drywall in a single day, working around garage door openers support brackets and other unique cuts. I was impressed when he pointed out that he had marked the multiple drain pipe cleanouts and valves buried behind the drywall for future reference. The gentleman he sent the following morning completed the mud and tape work. My only critique would be that he seemed to rush to finish and the work done in the later part of the morning did not match the quality of his work early on and it will require some touch up work on my part. However, I was very pleased overall with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the workmen and the great attitude displayed by everyone. I would not hesitate to hire Adam Contracting again.

The work was good. After we got past the issue of the "Big Deal", I hired them at their normal rate for two hours of handyman service. Very positive experience.

These guys did a great job. They fixed our fence and that was nicely done, but they also helped us get some of our electrical plugs working again. Originally we though something would need to be replaced, but Justin was able to get the circuit back up with out doing that. It saved us some money and saved him some time and was all around pretty awesome. I would definitely use their services again.

I bought the $59 for two hours of handyman deal, and contacted Adam Consulting to set up an appointment. It was quick and painless, and I was able to schedule an appointment within two business days of contacting. Israel showed up right at 8 am as promised, and completed the job efficiently and quickly, paying attention to the detail. It took him only 35 minutes, but I was satisfied given the price I had paid for the deal, and didn't feel like asking to perform any additional work for the remaining time.

Justin was quick to respond and very polite. The job was a tad bit pricey but he explained about the extra cost of using a 28 ft plus ladder. Which I was happy to pay to get the repair done. The job was done in only two days after I made the request. And everything looks as it should be. Job well done and I will definitely refer him and use Adams again.

I have used them for other things and have been very satisfied with the performance. They are always on time and professional. Justin LeBlanc always gets back to me pretty quickly. We communicate through email and have never had a problem. Really like this company.

The job went really well. Israel was quick and very efficient. He performed the job in a short time. He got right into the task at hand and was able to manage the time and completed the job. I would hire this service again. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

Although I've used Adam's services in the past (I love this guy), this particular purchase was one of Angie's Big Deals - 2 hours of handy man services for the price mentioned above. My powder room is 5x5 and what was supposed to be a simple remove and re-seat toilet project evolved into a major mold issue. After receiving estimates which were out of my budget, i thought i'd put my DIY skills to work. I stripped the bathroom, removed drywall from the lower portion of the wall about 3 feet up; removed tile from the immediate area and called the inspectors - no black mold, everything was clean. high project, My neighbor replaced the flange in the floor and I removed the remaining tile and cleaned the floor down to the cement. I ordered new 'snap-lock' tiles and started to tile the floor, cutting the pieces was not in my skill-set. ENTER Angie's List Big Deal and Adam's Contracting offering 2 hours of HandyMan Service! Yea me! I purchased the deal and briefly stated what I wanted done. I received an email response almost immediately and scheduled the work! I went out and purchased the Drywall and had it cut into 5' pieces to make it easier to manage. On the day promised, there was a traffic issue and Adam contacted me to let me know that since it wasn't my issue, he would add an additional 1/2 hour. The worker came pleased that the pieces were manageable and started right in to work. I told him he could just cut the tile, I'd install it if he ran out of time and not to worry about the grout (because of the drywall install). He cut the tile and installed it in little time. Then, he cut and installed the drywall in the major areas and repaired a spot in the ceiling that was unsightly but not an issue and and a weak area that would be covered by the baseboard. When he finished HE reminded me that I had an extra 30 minutes! He said that it would take longer to allow the mud to dry on the wall so he wouldn't be able to sand it. I was NOT concerned - so he waited a little while and applied another coat of mud to the repaired areas. He cleaned up EVERYTHING and took the trash with him. BEAUTIFUL JOB - I took pics! I was able to sand the wall (he suggested two days later) and paint - just beautiful! Grouting the floor was easy and it looks GREAT! I love this guy! I'll be watching for you Adam! THANKS!

It went okay. I thought what I asked him to do should have been done within two hours. He didn't finished it and they started talking about the money they wanted to finish it and I was willing to pay it. Technically, they did what we wanted them to do. The price is fine.

I called Adam Contracting LLC primarily to fix a leaky pipe underneath the sink in one of my bathrooms. I bought the $59.00 handyman services for 2 hrs thinking it would take that long to fix the leak. I was so wrong. Israel, one of Adam Contracting's technicians, took approximately 10 minutes to fix the leak. I was so happy. I had delayed getting the leak repaired because I thought I would incur some unheard of cost, but working with Adam Contracting, I was able to stay within the $59.00 price. Also, since Israel got finished so quickly with the leak, he was able to repair other things I wanted to have done in my house. Israel, the technician, was professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. I will definitely use Adam Contracting LLC in the future for household repairs.

Showed up on time as promised. However, the tech spent the entire time troubleshooting a receptacle problem but wasn't able to identify the problem. I then found out myself that GFI switch right next to the main panel that just needed to be reset.

Came to our home to provide an estimate within 24hrs of our first contact. We heard back the next day with a quote. The initial quote was a little high for us. We were able to make some changes to the door type used and they saved us some money by doing some custom work (reused an old vent.) Workers showed up on time and everyone was very professional. They made multiple trips out to finish the job (we were fighting some bad February weather.) Was very satisfied with the job. It was refreshing to deal with a company that was prompt to reply to calls & emails. We highly recommend and would definitely use them again for another project.

Very responsive. Came by same day I called to see old heater and give estimate on fixing. Needed a new one. Scheduled it for a couple days later (it was a holiday weekend). They were a little late coming, but had called to inform us they were at another job and it was taking longer than expected. I appreciated that. The install was quick and they removed the old water heater. They cleaned up very week afterwards. We haven't had a problem since. Great quality water heater, too!

Terrible. Unfortunately 100% of the contact that I've had with this company thus far has been through the Angie List's emailing service, which is unsatisfactory. I explained at purchase, that I needed the services performed as soon as possible, which turns out to be June 6th (more than a week after the purchase). if I knew this before purchasing, I wouldn't have purchased this deal, which is a mark against me - I should have called before purchasing. I expected the first contact from the company to be a series of timeslots that were available, which I was told that "weekend appointments weren't available," which I didn't know whether or not that meant they didn't offer weekend appointments or if the weekend was completely booked. Furthermore, the initial contact from the company was to determine "what services I needed performed" instead of scheduling, so 23 hours passed. This is completely unacceptable and more importantly, it is unacceptable that this contractor felt it only acceptable to inform me that the next available timeframe is June 6th for a 2-hour slot on your system in lieu of contacting me directly via the phone. I do not live on Angie's List and to think that the only acceptable form of contact is via this system is terrible. I've requested a refund from Angie's List, my very first ever, which is saying something about this experience. Thanks, Jeremiah

Fast & Friendly. Did a wonderful job.

I have rental property and it is so hard to find someone who does a decent caulking job for a reasonable cost. I will totally use this company again. He removed the old caulk and was very neat and thorough. I had asked him in advance if I needed to provide caulk - yes so I had white and clear on hand. Can't wait to use him again. Preventing water damage is so important. I am thrilled.

Excellent job. Very responsive. Did the job on a very short noticed. The technician had all the tools required and was very proactive and solved problems that other handymen were not able to solve. Will use their services in the future.

The handyman Israel was the man that did the work. Very nice guy who worked quickly and precisely. He did a very good job on the drywall repair and impressed me with the quality of work. Very very good. This was a very good deal.

They did a very good job. I was very happy with them. The job was done very well. We had no issues with when they were going to show up. They actually did tiling on the floor but we made a mistake because we picked out the wrong tile and it didn't look great but they did a nice work. The price was quite expensive for such a small area but it was marble and glass tile.

The workers came a few minutes early.The two gentlemen were very friendly, professional and were quick workers. They evaluated the jobs to be completed and gave me an estimated time for each one. I thought the timing was very reasonable. The first job I had on my list was to remove existing vents on the side of my house and replace with grated vents. The second job was to install two wall cabinets in my laundry room. The handymen worked fast and efficiently for three hours getting things done. The response time of my initial phone call was fast (a few hours later), all of my questions were answered in terms I could understand, and I didn't have to wait long for an appointment. Adam's Contracting is someone I would use again and will recommend them to my friends and neighbors!

The contractor showed up on time and we walked through the basement together and he offered design options. He was punctual, polite and responsive. He sent the estimate within a couple of days. He was the first of 5 estimates that we received. We ended up going with another contractor who came in at a lower price. Overall, I have no complaints with our interaction...it just came down to the price.
