ACE TRIM CARPENTRY INC

I only wish that I'd found Ace Trim Carpentry sooner! I located Ace here on Angies List, and after doing some basic research understood that Ace typically provides trim/millwork for high end custom and production builders. I sent an email to Ace late on a Sunday evening asking if they were willing to work with me as a "consumer" versus contractor on whole house trim replacement. (figured it was worth a try) I received a call the very next morning from Carl Cunningham, who knew all the right questions to ask to get a good understanding of the scope of the project. I emailed some rough drawings (for custom closets) and links to photos of the house. Carl used this information to carefully craft a quote for the labor to install all doors and trim. He wanted to make sure that I was aware of all the possible concerns or challenges. Carl's quote was very fair and competitive. I initially contacted Ace Trim Carpentry out of desperation since the trim carpenter I had hired "no showed" two days in a row. (the original carpenter eventually showed up to complete the work). Based on my experience with Carl, and an understanding of the work performed by Ace, I would have hired them in an instant... and definitely will in the future if I have another project like this.
