I really had a good experience with these people. We recently bought an 1890 row house in Washington, DC. The previous owner had added a room and installed skylights. The skylights were so improperly done that, upon inspection, our homeowner's insurer said we had to fix them by June 2012, or they would discontinue our policy and refuse to insure us. Amazing Skylights inspected the skylights, recommended a solution, and got the work done in no time at all. They explained the problem, ordered new skylights, and installed them. For a very reasonable price, they also covered our roof with a protective sealant that will extend its life.

The process went smoothly from start to finish. Rich, the owner, led the installation. We are happy with the additional light and there have been no leaks or other issues. We would highly recommend.

Rich came by and was on time and professional. Thoroughly explained the solar fans, installation, pros and cons, etc. We set up an installation date, and his employee arrived on time and worked steadily and quickly to complete the installation. The entire process was very smooth and easy. Good quality work on the fans and roof repair.

Their prices for the services are very reasonable. Iam very satisfied with their job. They provide excellent and appropriate advise, not trying to make any extra bucks from me. I have already recommended them to a few of my friends.

Making an appointment was easy online - with follow up by telephone for more specifics. Communication was good with their dispatcher and technician, and he arrived promptly when scheduled. The technical estimator was very professional and knowledgeable. I didn't end up using them but only because it turns out that given the nature of my townhouse layout, and the room where I wanted the skylight, it wasn't technically possible to install the Solatube at all. But all this was explained to me very clearly, and we even had further discussions about what other alternatives might be possible for getting sunlight into the room (which really wasn't their company's area of expertise). I appreciated the professionalism and courtesy of the company, and that at no time did they try to 'sell me something I didn't need' or couldn't use.

The man who did the estimate arrived on time and knew what was needed to ventilate my attic. He recommended two fans because my attic has two separate areas. An installation date was set. Then, due to a delayed shipment, it was several more days before they could be installed. But I was kept informed of the status of the shipment and when they arrived, a new installation date was selected. The installer was courteous, arrived on time and installed both fans in a little over an hour. The installation happened today and I think it is much cooler upstairs already!

Overall, I was very satisfied with the job. I had 3 bids on the work and they were less than half the price of one bid. The other bid was slightly more than Amazing but they had never done this type of job before. Amazing had done 50 of these kinds of jobs. They came out and took a look and gave me a price. They came back for the installation and there were no issues. It was a 2 story install in a tight area. He did an excellent job of getting it between the existing piping with only a 1/2 inch tolerance. It works like a charm! The kitchen is much brighter due to the new solar tube.

Great. I have wanted to do this for some time. The Amazing Skylight's guy did the work in about 2 hours...he was pleasant, professional, and very neat. He even helped keep my wandering jack russell in as he went from in and outside of the house. The new solar tube is great. I *still* keep going into my kitchen to turn the lights out and then realize that the lights are not on! The kitchen is naturally just that bright now!

I spent $750 on that work. They are very professional and good. They were on time.

The whole experience was simple, quick and clean. Rich had came over last Saturday explained product and showed lense covers. On Tuesday Shane called to schedule the install appointment. On Thursday, Dave called to let me know he was on way. Two hours later my old light fixture was removed, Solatube installed. Wow! I kept trying to turn the light switch to off position to save electricity and realized it wasn't on! It's like a pot a gold at the end of the rainbow--so bright! One problem however, now that's there so much light I can tell how dingy the paint is in the room. Guess I need to get a paint brush! Thank you to the staff of Amazing Skylights.

They are amazing. It was a great buy. They came with great references from our neighbors. One of their contractors will be installing an insulated garage door soon. They represent and distribute a superior product. The installation was seamless. It had been an incredible benefit to the house bringing in light. The price was fabulous.

We decided to use Amazing Skylights after comparing them with several contractors at a D.C. home show in the spring. We installed the light during home renovations in August and Rich worked around our schedule for installation. Rich showed up on time, provided fast and efficient installation, gave us the quoted price with no surprises and we qualified for the 2010 energy efficiency tax credit. If you're considering a Solatube light, we fully recommend Amazing Skylights.

They removed an old fan and installed a new gable fan. Their product was really good. They are a small company. They did all the work themselves. They did it really fast and efficiently. They were very knowledgeable and very reasonably priced too.

they did a great job and were able to fit the larger solatube in. The install team was careful of our property, did the work very efficiently, and cleaned up the area.

This project required that the Solatube sun tunnel come in through the attic, down through a second floor closet and end in the kitchen ceiling. The clearance within the closet was very tight due to the presence of a water pipe running beneath the floor - there was only about one-half inch of clearance between the water pipe and the tunnel. We received two other quotes for this project - the pricing on one of the quotes was comparable to Amazing Skylights but the product didn't seem to be as good, the pricing on the other quote was over three times as expensive as the Amazing Skylights quote. The real thing that sold me on Amazing Sylights for this project was that they had done similar installs many times before while the other bidders told me that this would be the first time that they had done a multi-story installation. In the end, the installation went smoothly and we have been very pleased with the Solatube and the enhanced lighting that it provides within our kitchen. As for the attic fan, it seems to be working like a charm though I'm not totally sure of this since it is the quietest fan that I have ever owned.

They did a good job. They were on time, they did the work for the price that we agreed to, and they did all of the work in one day. I would definitely get a bid from them if I needed more work done.

They did a fabulous job. No fingerprints on the ceiling. No dust left behind. From order to finish was about a week and half.

Found the company at the Home and Garden Expo. Set up an appointment for an estimate and Rich came out to explain the whole process. We weren't ready at the time, but when we were ready the company was able to get out here within ten days to do the work. The installer arrived early after calling to see if that was okay with us. He worked steadily and cleanly, keeping us informed the whole time. The solatube looks great and we are pleased. It was cloudy the first few days after installation so we didn't get the full effect of sunshine in the room initially. Once the sun came out all we can say is Wow! The room has two small windows, one of which is on a covered porch. Little or no light gets in on the best of days, much less when it is cloudy. With the solatube it's like someone turned the lights on only better. We actually went through the room flipping switches the first week thinking we left the light on. We waited to report until we had a good hard rain to check out leakage. So far so good. Once we are ready, we will have a couple more installed in various areas of the house!

Rich was great. Did a fantastic job and we love the lights. He also hooked me up with a handyman to help me out with some other roofing issues I was having. Great great great.

We are thrilled! The work was done much sooner than we expected. The company had finished a job early and phoned to see if they could come to install the skylight. They were neat, professional, and did a great job. We asked them to return to replace the skylights on our back porch.

They did a really good job. They were great and they followed up with all the phone calls. They sent me letters to make sure that everything was alright. The price was great and they cleaned up after they were done. The first time they came it rained, but they quickly set up another time. They were in and out in less than two hours.

Rich was amazing. This job was very difficult. Because of the configuration of my house, there was only one spot in the closet where the tube would go thru. Another contractor told me that the job was impossible, because of obstables both between closet floor and dining room ceiling and closet ceiling and roof. Rich managed to install the Solatube and avoid all the obstacles. It was really amazing what he was able to do. I am not easily impressed with contractors, but Rich was great. He is clearly an expert in his trade.
