+ -1 moreR. Williams paving is a small family based company. Dana and Richard came out and met me at 904 Page Street in Charlottesville, to discuss the details of the job. They were very friendly and professional. They driveway was in terrible shape prior to their work. Richard agreed to do extra work (pulling fence posts and removing old fencing) free of charge. The whole job was completed within a week of the first contact. The final product looks great. Richard provided a one year warranty for the work completed.
Description of Work: R. Williams Paving paved a small residential driveway (approx. 60-80 feet).

+ -1 moreAt first everything seemed fine, but the work started to have problems and the company will not respond and stand behind their work !!
Description of Work: We have a very long asphalt driveway in an upscale neighborhood, and two years ago a small portion of it began to sink. R Williams Paving did the repair by cutting out a rectangular portion and replacing it with new asphalt. I called them six months ago to tell them that the patch was sinking. They said they would come by to look at it and call me back. I never heard back from them and continued to leave messages. About a month ago they answered the phone and again said that they were in the area that day, would look at the patch and Richard (owner) woould call me back later that day. I still have not heard back from them. They are not being responsive at all and have left me to believe that they do not stand behind their work. The driveway had no problems for 10 years and I believe that their repair should have lasted more than 18 months. The fact that they refuse to even communicate, much less resolve the issue and stand behind their work, is incomprehensible !! I tell everyone I know about how irresponsible and unresponsive they have been to the problem we are having with the service they provided.

Description of Work: requested a quote/estimate to pave 1647 Sq Ft driveway Left messages twice did not return call also left request on website on response. Called on Tuesday said they had a big job they were working on and working late
