They came pormptly to view the project and provided a prompt excellent value bid. The communication and scheduling were right on and took into account some of my timing issues. The entire team came the week prior to the start date to discuss any issues that may arise to avoid delays. They answered all my questions. They communicated and were very cognizant for placing their materials They have worked diligently every day from early morning to late evening with an incredible work force who do a great job and are very conscientious and respectful End of each day they clean up and replace their equipment out of the way They completed the job on time in spite of the weather. Their entire team were personable, professional, respectful and diligent and obviously proud of their work. We are overwhelmingly satisfied and would recommend them especially for this type of roof without any reservation. This was a very challenging project-large roof-alot of demo work and prep work-steep and complicated roof. Cudos to the entire company. Thanks M & J

From start to finish it was a fantastic experience. After my roof was completed, they did an impeccable job cleaning up. It was as if they were never there. I luckily found Nathan Cowan and Cowan Roofing through a Facebook post a few years ago. I was looking for a new metal roof for my 1830s Colonial home. Cowan roofing provided the best quote out of the 5 we received, and won the job. They were on time every day, and let us know if there were going to be any delays. They kept us informed of project status and budget throughout the lifecycle of the project. The new roof is absolutely stunning and we have confidence it will last us a very long time. When it came time to replace the gutters and fascia around the roof, which was part of the work requested and quoted, Cowan Roofing again nailed it with top-notch subcontractors who were equally impressive in their professionalism and thoroughness. Overall, the large project, which included ripping out/replacing a bunch of old sheathing as well as eliminating in-roof gutters (box gutters?) came in under budget, and we couldn't be happier. Cowan Roofing has also performed numerous roof inspections as well as roof repairs for me on other properties. I will never use another roofing company, and I recommend this local business any time I get the chance. It's always great to see the Cowan Roofing trucks in the Madison parades!

It went very well! We had a hard time finding someone who could do my roof at a decent price. They did an excellent job. He even created something to cover our fireplace insert on our roof to make it look nicer! I would highly recommend them.

I would give them 10 even though 5 is maximum. They were hard workers and cleaned up every bit of waste. They were fabulous. They took short breaks and worked really, really hard. The owner was out here every day checking on the work. His crews have been with him for years. They are full time, long time workers. They gave me many choices of materials. He kept the price really reasonable. He made suggestions on how to best seal the roof because it was built in 1964. They explained the lifetime warranty. There was a 30% down payment. He covered every single aspect.

For estimates and returning calls they were prompt. They were quick to respond. They were out the next day. Very clean, no mess, no residue. I felt like the billing was very fair. I called neighbors and told them this is the person that you should go to.

Very positive! The company was professional, they met deadlines, they explained their procedures and the sub contractor they work with were equally professional.

I truly regret hiring this company and would definitely not recommend them to anyone. One of the crews that was working on our house failed to cover an unfinished portion of our carport roof which led to the ceiling crashing down on my wife's car after a torrential downpour. Left our property with over 6,000 dollars in damage and the owner claims it is not their responsibility. Also tried to add things to the final contract that were not discussed or included in the original estimate. Painful experience from start to finish. Be warned!
