I own property at Wintergreen and my HVAC was in need of replacement. I contracted with Wintergreen Resort Services HVAC team to replace my aging unit back in September 2015 with a mid-range Carrier heat pump system. Boyers is a sub-contractor of Wintergreen Resort Services and ultimately did the replacement. First, let me say the system is working properly...but these guys were a calamity from start to finish. The installers did not protect my wood flooring when bringing in the new system and left me a section of damaged floors in front of my HVAC closet in the main hallway -- divets and a deep, two-foot plus scratch. I have a security system that records when movement is detected and you can hear the installers talk about the scratches they left and how they should place Boyers' stickers over the dents in the casing to the unit itself. To boot, the indoor unit had dents and scratches on the outside with the Carrier emblem taped on (that quickly fell off form the vibration of the system) from being obviously broken off. After relying on Wintergreen Resort Services to work with their sub-contractor (Boyers) for almost a year to repair my flooring, nothing has happened. the scratch in my hallway still glares at me each time I visit. I have provided the vendor and make of the flooring and nothing has happened to date. I did get the dented metal casing replaced so my unit no longer looks like it fell off the back of a truck -- I guess I can consider that a win since I didn't know I was buying a scratch-and-dent unit to begin with. All this being said, my new system has functioned properly through its first winter and summer. However, the damage to my floors that could have been avoided by putting down cardboard (instead of a sheet), and the fact that a year has passed with no remedial action on their part is the reason I have rated a 1. My mistake was paying the invoice in full since now there is no incentive to make it right. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Everything went very well and the work performed was top notch! Paul Boyers was very pleasant to work with and his technicians were very helpful and friendly. I had several other estimates that were way over priced, but Paul came through with the best price that fit my current needs It's been a month since the installation and everything works perfectly and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend RS Boyers Heating & AC!!!

Have used them for years and always have provided excellent service.

Contacted R S Boyers to check the A/C because unit was not blowing cold air. Mr. Paul Boyers came to the house, explained the problem (coil leak and the unit was at least 15 yrs. old) and why it should be replaced.. I received an estimate/proposal by e-mail within 2 days.The proposal was thorough, explained the work to be done, and listed a choice of two units. I called the company to let them know which unit to order. The unit was installed in less than a week. The technicians were professional, friendly and answered all my questions. I also had them replace the old thermostat. This is not the first time I have received service from this company. During a routine inspection of my 40 year old furnace three years ago, a crack in the heat exchanger and a gas valve leak was discovered. Boyers was recommended to me and I chose them to install a new furnace. Their prices are reasonable and I highly recommend them. I plan to sign up for their service plan. (But replace old units before they go bad)

This summer when my AC died I called Boyers to come out and see if they could fix it. I had called them in the past, they came out within 24 hours on what was by then the hottest day of the year. I had a leak and the guy said as old as my unit was it would probably cost 2000 to even try to find the leak and the type of coolant was it used was about to be unavailable. After getting several estimates to replace the AC (Turns out you get a discount if you replace the furnace too so I did both), Boyers came in as the lowest plus they are local where as others were not. When they came out to do the work (within less than a week) they ended up replacing all of my duct work as well. They didn't charge me any extra for this and it ended up being a lot of work for the two guys who came. Everyone I talked to was polite and informative and the guys who came out to do the work were fast and professional considering how much work they did. With the insulation they added to the ductwork I know it lowered my bills. I highly recommend them. And will probably use them for future plumbing needs as well.

The man is great. He turns up when I call him and he does a good job. I pay them on a yearly basis for the service contract. I think they are about $65 an hour if I call them. I'm in the local area so there are no other good people in the area. The boy comes when I call him and then they've got people on call too. They are not cheap, but they come and do good work. Their punctuality is good too. They are very professional and well trained people.

I would recommend them. They are good and their quality was good.

They put in some used equipment for me and it didn't last. They sent in techs that didn't know what they were doing. My sister bought a new heat pump from them and she has to have it replaced again. I am using the Home Depot now because I can depend on them.

They were on time. They did good quality work.
