They were very punctual, very descriptive, and felt like they went above and beyond.

They were willing to advise and to listen. Another plumber gave us a lower cost estimate but we decided to go with Sullivan. We spoke wit Thomas several times but Sean was our technician.

He cleared roots from sewer line. He cleared the line and the water was able to go through. He also advised us on how to keep line clear.

I've used this company twice now. Thomas came out about a week earlier to replace a leaky valve and prepare the fittings for a dishwasher installation, and Shawn came out on the date indicated to do the work described above. The quality of the work, both times, was excellent and both guys were very professional and easy to work with. On this trip, Shawn did a really nice job of minimizing the amount of under-sink space used by the PVC, compared to the previous set up, so everything is much neater and arranged closer to the rear of the cabinet. I appreciated his willingness to explain to me what he was doing and why. The prices seemed somewhat high for the small jobs, but I knew going into this that the call-out charge for a small job would make this expensive, and it did. Still, I would hire them again and pay that price for the quality of the service I received.

Shawn came out 1st and did a good job capping off the sink pipes. When it came to fixing the gasket on the toilet he said it was special order and it would take a wk to get it. He also told us to go to his plumbing supply house and buy a $500 toilet because it would not cost that much more than to install a new toilet. A week later I called to find out where he was as had him on my calendar. He said he was waiting to find out if we were going to install new toilet and could not come out that day. I called back and talked to Tom the boss. He came right over and changed the toilet gasket which he said was not special order and he had it in the truck. He also added pipe to the no ritz water heater he had installed for the prior owner. If Tom had come out at 1st I would have given them a much higher grade because he fixed the items as I thought they should have been done in the 1st place.

Provider was actually ahead of appointed time, which was great. Did the work in a good time allotment; explained all. One toilet was longer than the original, so he put it in place for my final determination in case I preferred the shorter length. That was very considerate as I had not thought of the possible difference in length as being a problem of having enough room in the small bath.

I contacted Sullivan's plumbing on Wed Aug 28 regarding a clogged drain in my basement and a slow drain in the laundry room. We agreed on an appointment for Friday, August 30th at 3 pm. The service tech (Shawn) called about 1 pm and said he was available and could he come early. I agreed and he arrived about 1:30. He cleared both drains and diagnosed a contributory problem in the laundry room as an inappropriate drain vent on the laundry room line. He made a trip to the plumbing supply house and installed a vent line. He spent approximately 2 and one half hours at the house and including parts Charged me $227.50. When I asked him about some other work I am contemplating he provide me with a written quote. Installation of a utility sink in basement. The quote of $450 included both parts and labor. This seems like a reasonable cost for the work. I would definitely would use this company again and plan to have the basement sink installed next month.

I actually got the name of the company through Angie's List. Thomas Sullivan came to the house to give us a quote on the required work. We signed the contract and settled on a date for the work to be done a couple of weeks later. Thomas Sullivan arrived on time for the quote appointment, and on the day of the actual service. He cut a small portion of the sewage drain and re-aligned it under the basement stairs to make the pipe less noticeable. He also installed a utility sink (which we had already purchased) in the basement and installed the necessary water lines to the sink. He removed a portion of the washingmachine drain pipe and installed a larger one. He also cleaned the laundry/kitchen line in the basement due to an occasional back-up of water in the basement floor drain. Mr. Sullivan was very personable and professional, and cleaned the work area when he was finished. We were very pleased with his work, and also got a 5% discount on our total bill from him through Angie's List. hours

Thomas was prompt and courteous and answered all of my questions. I will defiantly use Thomas whenever I need a plumber.

Overall the job went very well. I would definetly use him again.

Mr. Sullivan is very professional. He is very flexible in terms of scheduling. My husband works third shift, and he was willing to work with us to fit our schedule. He responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He was very thorough explaining all options available, explaining the pros and cons, and effects on the overall costs. Thanks to his clear and honest approach, we were able to make a choice that was much better and cheaper than what my husband and I had considered doing originally. Mr. Sullivan kept all scheduled appointments and cleaned up all of his mess. He recommended a drywall professional who was able to work along with Mr. Sullivan's schedule so that the whole project was streamlined and completed in the shortest amount of time possible given the project requirements for completion. Our actual cost ended up being several hundred dollars less than the original estimate due to Mr. Sullivan's honesty about things that were able to be eliminated from the estimate once he got into the project. My husband and I have already tentatively planned a replacement of our upstairs bathtub with Mr. Sullivan for late Spring. I highly recommend him for anyone who wants an honest and professional person to complete their plumbing projects.

The representative (Shaun) was very thorough and knowledgeable. The work looks great and they were prompt, professional, and did a great job. Tom (owner) stayed in communication with me. They provided many plumbing services (in the kitchen and in the basemnent) at a fair price. I highly recommend them!

Shawn from Sullivan Plumbing arrived promptly at 830am and finished around 3pm. He was very professional and kept me updated with his progress throughout the day. All of the work was well done and he cleaned up everything (including dust from having to knock into the ceiling). I was very pleased with Sullivan and would use them again.

I bought all the materials and I payed them labor. They also hooked me up to the sewer system and closed my septic tank.

He had all the parts and boom he was done. I liked the fact that I had a problem with the drain flies at that time and he actually gave me some of the fluid to pour down the drain. He did not charge me for it. It was like a $40.00 bottle and it was about three quarter full. He had used it before but he gave me the rest of it with no charge. I thought that was really cool for him to do that. He did not have to do that as he was outside of what he was doing. He went above and beyond and that what I appreciate about him. They were a good company.

The appointment was made on the exact day I hoped for, and the two plumbers came earlier than promised, which was great. They were knowledgeable, pleasant, and did the work well and quickly. I appreciate so much the opportunity to find good resources using Angie's List.

I chose them on a rating I seen. However they went above and beyond my exceptions. My wife had a bunch of flowers in a area he was working on, He took the time to find a good place to put them, in the backyard. Making so that I can replant them easy, they're very conscientious. They did an excellent job!

They came on time and gave an estimate. I called a couple of days later and scheduled the work. They came the day as scheduled and completed all work as requested except for one exterior frost proof spigot kit. It's still on backorder. The plumbers were very professional and friendly. I would use them again if needed.

First let me express how my gratitude for Thomas coming within 15 minutes after receiving my call.Thomas cut the water supply off and replaced the copper T connection with a non corrosive T. He also tested the water and found it to be highly acidic. He explained that I need a bigger water filter that can hold limestone to cut down the amount of acid in my water. Also any other copper water connections in my house are subject to leaking the same as the T connection did. Thomas was very business like. When I'm ready to add the limestone and the new well-water filtering system, I'll call Thomas three days ahead of time and set up an appointment. Thomas also broke down all of my service options and what they will cost. I will be recommending Thomas Sullivan to my friends when they need plumbing services.

Ryan called to say he was in the area and asked whether it would be convenient for me for him to come a little earlier than our scheduled appointment. That was fine with me. It also gave him time to fit in the kitchen faucet installation, which was not on the original schedule. The broken outdoor faucet was behind some shrubbery, and I was afraid branches would have to be cut or else would be broken. Ryan slipped in without hurting the bushes. The new outdoor faucet looks great and seems to work fine. The kitchen faucet installation went quickly, and Ryan left the sink and the area under it cleaner than it was before he started. Ryan is very considerate and nice about answering questions. His boss was also very considerate when I had a question about the appointment time.

Rather than just performing the service that I thought I needed, Ryan and Bill inspected the system to determine whether it was really necessary. They found that the line and vents were clear and did not need snaking after all, so their expertise and honesty saved me a lot of money. They answered my questions about the inspection results, and told me of other ways the system could be made to work better. They were courteous and professional and I plan to use Sullivan Plumbing again in the near future.
