Michael arrived on time. He was courteous, efficient, and pleasant. He explained the process and finished the job quickly. He was tidy. He had everything he needed to complete the job on his truck, and set to it after a brief evaluation. It cost a bit more than I was hoping for, but that doesn't seem unusual for this sort of job.

My water pressure had dropped dramatically. It was a late Saturday afternoon, so most places were closed with only a couple of them listing an emergency number. I called Plumb Care Plumbing and described what was taking place. The person I talked to gave me a couple of different scenarios as to what the problem could be and was very up front about the possible labor cost as it was a Saturday evening. I asked them to come and check it out and they said they could be there in about 45 minutes. The man arrived on time and was very professional and went right to work. The first thought was that my well pump had gone out, but after several checks it was determined that it was the switch on the pressure tank. He replaced the switch, cleaned up everything and had us back to running water. I would not hesitate to call Plumb Care Plumbing again.

Contacted business, arranged an appointment for that afternoon. Personnel arrived on time. They were personable, professional and efficient. Found and fixed a plumbing glitch left by builder. Great job by this provider.

I selected Plumb Care of Lynchburg, Va to fix a terrible problem for my elderly parents. I came to their home one day to find sewage leaking through the ceiling from the upstairs toilet and flooding onto the carpeted basement floor. When I returned after they had supposedly finished the job, I found that they had installed a new toilet, but replaced only a portion of the drain line, leaving the old, leaking pipe with a gaping hole in it (which I found myself and told them about!), so it leaked again, giving me another cleanup job. They returned to finish the work without any apology, or any kind of communication to me, and had the nerve to charge my parents for the return visit and additional work and parts. PLUMB CARELESS. That is what I call this company now. I would not recommend them to the president of Iran!

We're withou hot water, could see there were no leaks. First called 'Sullivans', they apologized but they would not be able to service till following Mondy. They then recommended! Plumb Care. I called them and had quick knowledgeable service perform. So a tip of the hat to Sullivan plumbing is also warranted.

Company was courteous when called and was able to schedule same day service. Generally, my experience is that services call prior to coming, this company did not. Actually showed up 30 minutes early. Fortuantely that worked out for my schedule, but it would have been nice to have a heads up.Two plumbers arrived in what appeared to be a personal van with explanation that company van was broken down. Did not introduce themselves other than by name of business. No business cards. They asked to use some old towels as they did not have any. Also did not have a scrapper to remove the old seal and had to use mine. I guess the work was OK - only time will tell. They left a mess in the bathroom. Did not take out their trash and left trash on the floor, counter and around the trash can. I asked to keep the old float as it was a water saving device and still technically worked, but was advised it just needed to be thrown out. They did take that part that with them and left the other trash for me. One of the towels was runied. Yes, it was just a rag, but the point is they did not bring all the supplies they needed when they knew in advance what the job was. I left bottled water out which was taken, but no thank you was ever given. I just did not appreciate having to clean up the mess. I was advised over the telephone that the Angie's List coupon would be accepted, but they failed to include in the final invoice. I had to ask for the invoice to be changed. The billing did not break out the parts from labor. I only assume that the price was reasonable.The workers did not thank me for the business or ask to be considered on future work needed. I do not think the company appreciated my business. In regard to using this company again, I will consider other options first.

Generally they seem to be very honest, reliable, and reasonably priced. They recommended that we replace the sink which would have cost at least a couple hundred dollars, but we ended up repairing that ourselves for about $40. We learned that the consumer always has to be on guard, even with the best company because they are out to make a profit.

I had an issue with water hammer in bathroom plumbing. When I called for a plumber appointment I got one right away (same day, at a time that suited me). The plumber was on time, listened to my story then got right to work. He discovered the source to the problem, fixed it and I have had no further issues.

I noticed I had laundry soap and water coming up through my garage floor drain from the load in the laundry. In addition, the half-bath toilet would fill with water when flushed, but would not go down the drain. It was apparent that there was some sort of stoppage in the line leaving the laundry / bath / garage area of the home. All other plumbing in the home was fine. I was unsuccessful in clearing it myself with a plunger and standard drain snake. I called two different companies (it was nice that Plumb Care had an answering service rather than just an answering machine), and received a call back from Plumb Care first. I was advised that if I wanted service that evening, being after-hours, it would be subject to time-and-a-half labor rates. As such, I declined after-hours service, and they said they would call in the morning to schedule a time. They called the following morning and were able to fit me into their schedule. I did not ask for, nor did they provide an estimate. The plumber arrived on time, and first visually inspected the outside main line from the clean-out -- having me flush the toilet a few times so he could see and hear if anything was flowing to that point. Once he determined that little to no water was flowing there, he located a clean-out in the garage in the vicinity of where all three drains connected. He ran a motorized electric snake through the clean-out and had me flush the toilet. The toilet drained appropriately and everything sounded clear from the clean-out. He ran the snake a second time though the clean-out while I continued to flush the toilet to verify the stoppage was completely cleared. He then packed-up and wrote-up the job. I am not sure how they calculate their rate, as I was only given a total amount. The entire time spent on-site was just under an hour. Overall I was satisfied with the work performed, but felt the total was high for the amount of labor and time on-site (however, I am inexperienced with plumbing rates, so maybe this was reasonable). Had I had the equipment I could have easily performed the job. If I have to pay this amount one more time for a future occurrence, I will have spent the same amount as it would cost me to purchase my own electric snake. I will probably consider Plumb Care in the future given the generally positive experience -- but next time I am going to ask for an estimate up-front and if I think it is high, I will get additional competitive estimates.

I have been doing business with them for years. They do a very good job. They come when they say they are going to come. I trust them completely, even when I am not home. They are a good company all around. They are up front with the costs and the work is always done right. They are very friendly and courteous.

They are always very responsive and reasonably priced. I would use them again in the future.

I am very pleased with the work that they did. I got their name off Angie's List. They had a high rating, so I called them up. They came out and did a good job. I would certainly recommend them. I have no problem with them. They got here when they said they were going to come here. They did the work in an appropriate amount of time. They were very professional and personable. I had to call them twice to get them out here. First time when I called, they didn't get back to me. I called them again and they apologized for that. Their price is a little bit on the higher side.

Discovered a plumbing leak between the floors of a two story house and there was no access to the pipes without cutting through the ceiling of the floor below. I contacted a very professional dispatcher who told me what time the workman would arrive and he did. The workman diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it just as quickly. He gave me his estimate of what the bill would be and thats what it was. Given the situation, I have done business in the past with those who would have taken every advantage to milk it for more money. Not the case here. My experience was very good and I would both use and recommend the compan

Called on a Saturday and left word for Plumb Care to call me Monday ASAP. We met at my home at lunch time and reviewed what needed to be done. A handshake sealed the deal and when I arrived home on Tuesday the job was done and the workers were gone. Basement locked up and the light turned off.

Fine. They had a plumber at our house 1/2 earlier than estimated.

They did solve the problem. We probably wouldn't use them again because it was quite expensive just to put in washers and use a tube of glue for the shower. If I had known that was all they were going to do, I could have done that myself and wouldn't have called them. It wasn't their problem particularly; it was just less complicated that I thought.

I had a few small plumbing issues that I needed taken care of including clearing a bathroom sink and tub drains, fixing dripping faucets in the bathtub and replacing a lavatory faucet, and it seems there were a couple of other minor things that I've forgotten. I called PlumCare because I used them to make repairs to a leaking pipe last year and I was pleased with the service and the price. So, when these little things got bad enough for me to call a plumber, I called PlumbCare back. Not only was I very pleased with the punctuality and quality of service. I was very pleased with the total price. I must admit that on both service calls I was surprised that I wasn't charged more. As I write this report, I have just discovered another minor leak in a pipe in the basement; I'll be calling PlumCare shortly!

One evening my wife and I heard an unusual sound coming fromt the utility room. We looked, and the supply pipe that fed the washing machine cold-water side was broken below the valve or hose bib that sits between the supply and the washing machine hose that leads to the washer. It was spraying water like a little squirt gun, but in a constant stream. I turned off the main house supply for the night, and the next day called Plumb Care Plumbing. They answered politely, listened to my description, and said someone would be out in a few hours to look at it. They called back an hour earlier than expected and said someone was on their way. While the technician looked at the situation, I told him I never had liked the setup (a screw valve on a very loose PVC pipe), and wondered if we could replace the old style with a new lever-type valve. He replaced both valves, and in the process stablilized the whole arrangement so the pipes are no longer loose. He was in and out in less than an hour, and we have had no trouble with the system since then. He was courteous and professional throughout.

Discovered a huge underground water leak and looked into Angie's List for a local plumber. Selected this one and phoned their after hours number. Call was promptly answered and message delivered to service manager as soon as they opened the next day. Met with mechanic for an estimate with the job to proceed the following day. The mechanic generously loaned a tool to minimize my inconvenience until the job was complete. The work was completed in half a day and they turned off the basement light when they left. I feel comfortable recommending them to my friends.

The plumber was on time - the job completed in a flash and the mess was cleaned up and taken away.

Overall the experiences was very satisfactory, aside from the fact that our first call was overlooked and we had to place a second call to the business. The repairman was polite and professional and went right to work and was done within minutes, even finding a way to drain our water heater in a time-efficient manner so as not to charge us a large labor fee. Then was very helpful when I requested he check our water pressure and step-by-step took me through the process of changing the pressure.

Very quick service, service man was punctual, completed repair in very little time

Took 2.5 days to install the sewer line. Workers were verry professional, courteous and efficient. Installation was somewhat unique sice it eliminated a sump pump from my basement, as well as hooking up all other drains in the house. Keith and Jamie were the two who worked on it. One of the owners (Ed Setje) kept us fully informed as did the workers.There were a few glitches (as expected with this type of job) but they were readily overcome by the company who worked well as a team. Started with their schedular and went on from there. This is a service savvy company. Did what they said they would, on time, with a fair and reasonable price. I would give them an A+ for exceeding expectations.
