Description of Work: I provided the fabric to have an old wing chair reupholstered. I got on the wait list (~2 months, which they advised up front). They called when they were ready and offered to pick it up. Instead I took it to them. About 6-8 weeks later it was done. The timing was what I expected, so no complaints. Just plan ahead. The workmanship was beautiful and the chair looks like new. It is a well made chair deserving of a new life. Well worth getting in line and waiting.

Description of Work: The shop was great. There was a slight delay in getting the chairs back, but not terrible. They helped me load and unload the furniture from the car, helped me pick out an afforable fabic and did a good job with the chairs. The results were stunning.

+ -1 moreHe directed me to fabric swatches that were within my budget (lots of choices!) and took a sample home to live with for a while. I placed the order and within about ten days the pad was ready at a very reasonable fee. Pad was well-constructed with ties and a corded edge. I presented it to someone as a gift who lived out of state, and he said that the pad was and quot;perfect.and quot;
Description of Work: Custom made a chair pad for a wooden chair with a trapezoidal seat based only on written dimensions as the chair could not be brought to the shop.

She got antique pieces and you don't give them to just anyone! The whole crew have been doing this for 40 years. They are very reasonable. They are top class! They do excellent work.

Description of Work: I had them upholster a chair for me with fabric that I purchased elsewhere. They did such a good job at such a reasonable price that I had them do two pillows with the left-over fabric. Everything was very well done and very quickly done. The only drawback I could see was that the shop itself was a wreck; not at all conducive to feeling confident in the end product, but their quality is very good.
