About us

After 17 years of working for others in the electrical trade, I was given the opportunity to begin my own company when the employer I worked for decided it was time to retire. He asked if I would be interested in becoming my own boss and taking over his current customers. I had been the contact person for his current customers, so there was already a strong customer base. This was an easy decision to make, so in July of 1994, my wife and I began Maupin Electric Company, Inc. Now 18 years later, we still have a strong customer base, including customers that have been with us from the very beginning. Our customers have come to know and understand we care about quality, their safety, and not just their current needs, but their future needs. We are still a small company, which we believe helps us to better care for the needs of our customers, ensuring them a personal touch. As we venture into yet another year of business, we continue to look forward to many more years of personal and quality service to our customers.

Excellent quality work!
Description of Work: Mike came and gave us an estimate on work we needed on a home we inherited. He did all the work requested (& made some good safety suggestions) - finished within the timeframe he gave us. We would use him again.
