Light's Plumbing and Drain Cleaning

I called this company bc it had good reviews & affordable price . They robed me I had a pump that need replaced cost would have been 600.00 total . Worker put new wire in & put through the pipe I had existing to the well . I asked if I pay cash can I get a discount ? I had lost my job 2 weeks ago from restructuring . I have no income coming in . After I was told $2600.00 I gave the worker $1300. Cash & he left for over 4 hours before showing up with the new parts. I called the owner again & explained to him my position I couldn’t help but cry & quote he tells me I got you . I thought ok he will give me some discount . NOT one penny did he go down . I had a total bill of $2600.00 . Wow glad he had my back ?! It would have been 4000.00 . I’ve talked to one’s professional in this business he actually raped me for what little was done & the price he got from me . Please beware women or anyone this company is rip off ! No one call him for any work . He deserves what he gets from being a liar & over charging . I have lots of friends & I will be telling all I know to tell all they know about this owner .

Sitting her shocked at my experience with Lights Plumbing. This was a very simple job. Two bathroom faucets needed to be replaced. I was given two quotes by two other plumbers locally. $85 per hour and $120 per hour. Was told it would take 90 mins to 2 hours if it was tougher. I also called a 3rd company, "Lights Pluming" and left a message. They called back same day and said, we can come in 30 mins. I was excited because I only left a message and didn't even talk to anyone. I thought this is great. BIG BIG mistake, I didn't get an estimate from them, but thought if the other two were around the same price Lights should be competitive. They came at 4:05pm and were done at 5:25pm the job was fast. Took only 90 mins to do. After 1 hour both men went outside to their truck for a "Break" to smoke. When the faucets were done, I told them I would call the office and pay with a credit card tomorrow morning. He said no they take payment right now. Also if I used a Credit card it would be another 4% added to the bill. I said what was the bill. Expecting $150 to $250 at the most. He said $500 dollars. YES $495 dollars for 90 mins to install 2 bathroom sink faucets!! I told him that price is crazy, what in the world is going on? What do you charge per hour. He said we charge by the job? By the job! Well shouldn't this be one of the most simple jobs you guys do as a company? Putting in two faucets that were provided by the owner. It was strickly labor, for 90 mins. Nope $500 dollars! I am shocked, ticked off and feel this is absolutely unacceptable. I don't do reviews, but I felt people need to know a genuine experience I had with Lights Plumbing. I am very very disappointed. PLEASE get estimates from EVERYONE you deal with. Even if others gave you one get them all. Shame on you Lights Plumbing!!

Excellent ! On Wednesday April 20, I called the plumbing company I had used for over 25 years (also has A rating here) and had to leave a message and requested a call back. When I did not get a call back, I called Light Plumbing and Drain. They called back right away and set a time the next day to remove the clog and replace the bathroom sink fixtures. He was on time, neatly dressed and proven to be well qualified. He had a well equipped truck with the company logo. The work was done quickly and neatly. The bill was reasonable and we will be using him again (and recommending him to our friends).
