Refused to call back and provide detail for bathroom remodel.

After 2 weeks - 3 if you count the week needed to even gain an appointment -- with us needing to contact them, vs them contacting as they stated they would -- we still have no idea when or if a contractor will be coming out to even look at the bathroom. Reason: though well within the "boundaries" of the area they service (which spreads over a hundred miles in all directions), it has now been stated they are having difficulty getting a contractor to "come out this far" which is absurd -- we are 23 miles from their store, or approximately 35 minutes. So, what actually is going on here? I don't know. It's possible this business is in a state of flux, which there are indications that it might be -- for example there are/were no "designers" around anywhere though several are profiled on their website. There was one man, who states he is a designer, former contractor, who also answers the telephone, yet had limited knowledge of some pretty basic things -- e.g. stone composite tubs (he "never heard of them"); teak flooring (he was "unfamiliar with the wood"). Their "show room" is simply a collection of kitchen cabinets, nothing else. What is my best guess? This is a kitchen (specifically cabinets ) shop, period. NOT a full service full bathroom and kitchen builder/re-modeler as implied by their name, for that matter as stated on their website etc.. If you don't want cabinets (which we don't for our bathroom) they are not interested. If it is a big job (which this is) they are clearly (albeit suddenly) not interested. They want to sell and install kitchen cabinets, and that is all they want to do. In short, they are definitely not professional, their listing/name/website is grossly misleading and should be updated to correctly reflect their services. In all, this has been frustrating, and a definite waste of our time. On to the next listing. We'll see what happens there.

They were great. I was scared to start a project this big close to the holidays but its gone very well...a few little thing it's my fault for not telling them.

My wife and I contacted Kitchen and Bath due to the positive feedback we read on Angie's List and the fact they have signs in their business stating they're Angie's List recommended. To start with, we met with a nice lady there at Kitchen and Bath who showed us counter tops and gave us ideas for our kitchen remodel. After talking about 30 minutes, we decided to let Kitchen and Bath schedule the measuring at our house. That took place two weeks after we walked in the store. Which was ok as we were in no rush. After the measuring, it then took another two weeks for the lady at Kitchen and Bath to review with us her plan to remodel our kitchen. Again, not a big deal. We met with her and agreed on the layout and design. She then stated she would need to have an electrician come to our house to spec out the electrical requirements. She stated the electrician would contact me to schedule the visit. However, 3 weeks passed before I received that call. The electrician showed up Oct 24th and examined our panel and electrical situation. He noted he'd have to add another circuit, but nothing major. It is now Nov 25th and I have not received a call from Kitchen and Bath. After nearly three months of trying to be a customer to have our kitchen remodeled I'm done. Regards, Rodney.

Pretty good. The Lowes store was terrible by comparison. They were right about the design and lay out. Happy!

We first got a price for an entire island, including cabinets, sink, faucets, and counter top. It took a couple weeks before we got the estimate. When we did (we had to call a couple times, trying to get the estimate), it was over $6000. The counter top was Formica and there were no special requests regarding the cabinets, except we wanted cherry to match the other cabinets in the kitchen. They told us we'd have it in 4-6 weeks. The cost was way more than we wanted to spend so we only ordered the counter top and took care of the cabinets ourselves. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks. They didn't even have to cut the hole for the sink. My husband did that. The sales person did not keep us updated on the progress. We called her to get updates. When it finally came in, we did not get a phone call to tell us, even though they claimed someone called. I finally got an email, notifying us it was in.

Went in for quote. Was told I had to make an appointment. Made the appointment. The lady came to may house on schedule and measured. That was on a Friday. Was told would have a price or drawing done by Monday. I waited until Wednesday to call for update. Was told she was out and would give me a call. I had to call again Thursday. Was called back on Thursday evening by one of her coworkers to see her the next day. Received a quote and a drawing. Meanwhile I met with another supplier. I had to call twice to get another meeting with her. Showed her the other suppliers quote. Was told she could match it and would let me know on Monday after she talked to her manager. I waited till Wednesday no call no email. I took her samples back and told the young man who was there that I was going with another supplier. If she was that hard to get an answer from just to get my business what would her response be once I had the cabinets. Not good customer service, not professional.

Price was too high and I used Lowes for the project.

Kitchen & bath Ideas built a bathroom vanity & hard surface counter for my 40 year old hall bathroom which i recently remodeled. I was so impressed with the quality of work that I just had them build an additional bathroom vanity & counter for my Master bathroom which I am now remodeling. They start with coming out to measure and then draft up a design/render on the computer. I loved how they even allowed me to help with my ideas in the process. My favorite features in my kitchen are my soft close dove tail drawers, glass cabinet and double pull out trash can.

All staff, designers, and installers from Kitchens and Baths were professional and pleasant. We were guided through the preliminary decisions and all our questions were answered quickly. This was our first experience with a kitchen renovation and everyone was helpful taking our ideas and making the end so successful. The cabinets were as beautiful as we had imagined.

We had consultations with Amanda, a designer/sales associate several times in order to come up with the best plan for our 40 year old home. She was very professional and gave us options as well as helping us to narrow down some choices so that we kept within a budget. During this process, we met at our home with Amanda and Jason (the contractor). I especially appreciated their willingness to come over as many times as it took to get exactly what we wanted in plans, materials, and costs. Because we needed to move quickly on our project, we set a deadline for completion in one month and we were very happy that our goals were met. Another big plus in using this company is that we only worked with Amanda, Mike,(the project manager), Jason and his partner. This is much better than multiple people coming and going and easier for scheduling. Everyone was a pleasure to work with! The final results surpassed our expectations. We are now enjoying a new kitchen, and two baths that do wonders to update our home. I don't think I could have done this project and stayed within our budget with any other company in town and the fact that it is a local business makes it even better.
