He did an excellent job and is reasonably priced. We will definitely keep his card and use him for upkeep our our fireplaces.

Never received an estimate and he never came back.

I asked Brent to clean my parents' chimney so that my 82 year old father wouldn't kill himself by going up on the roof again. Brent called my parents to arrange a time and was very sensitive about handling my father so he wouldn't feel humiliated. I really appreciate the service and the way it was handled.

No problems at all. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Took time to explain and discuss. Only knock would be did not follow up to set a time to install a cap. We asked for this and were told they'd contact us to set up a time to come and do so. Not sure what happened.

We are having gas logs put in two separate fireplaces in our house. Brent Runyon came highly recommended by our realtor and Angie's List. He was very professional and did an inspection of both fireplaces and the chimneys. He found that neither chimney needed and cleaning and only charged us for the inspection. He was also very knowledgeable about gas logs and gave us a ton of advice on what to look for when we go to purchase them. I would highly recommend this company.

I had zero knowledge of anyone working in the chimney cleaning and stove installation in the area and began making calls in September to get some quotes on both the cleaning and installing a woodstove. A competitor came to give an estimate and 2 weeks later we still had not heard back. Brent came and did the cleaning and left us with an estimate that turned out to be correct after the work was finished (stove installation). They will need to see the type of stove and inspect your chimney before you can get an estimate. don't trust any given out without seeing the project as each can vary considerably. There are also safety reasons to have a professional do the work - it turned out our chimney had a squirrels nest of dry leaves and sticks inside! We could have easily burned down our home. Always have your fireplace checked out when moving in to a new home. We chose a very small woodburning insert from Northern Tool; very basic and inexpensive ($900). For some reason inserts are more expensive than free standing woodstoves. We had 6 cords of wood leftover from having some oak trees taken down and now we can use that to keep our selves nice and cozy.

. We were very satisfied with the work done on our chimney and fireplaces. They came when they had scheduled and the work was done and they cleaned up everything after the work was finished.

I originally called and set up and appointment for a chimney sweep and inspection. They called before the appointment and said they would need to reschedule based on something they had to do for a friend. This was understandable, although more notice should have been given. So we rescheduled for another date. The morning of the second appointment, I had to cancel and reschedule due to torrential rains that caused flooding in the basement where the stove was located. They called back to reschedule when I wasn't available. I called them back many many times and left many messages. No one has since returned my calls. I originally called them before the cold weather started so that I would be able to retain their services before the cold-weather rush. They even promised over the phone to have our chimney ready before the cold weather set in. Here it is almost November and no return phone calls, no one answering the phone when I call, and a stove that is still waiting to be swept.
