Description of Work: Replaced entire roof shingles and . Worked fast, cleanup was impressive--I'm not sure how they kept everything outside as clean as they did over the 2 days of work. | |Price was to the penny of the quote. We had one inconsequential communication issue that was in all likelihood my fault, but they took care of it quickly. | |Kyle who did my estimate was very helpful and spent a lot of time explaining options to me and covering the process. And he warned me before hand that significant dust in the attic was unavoidable so I had time to get things stored there moved/covered (I only mention this because I've seen/heard several people complain about an attic mess they weren't prepared for and didn't discover until later.) Great experience overall. They were also the lowest estimate from a bigger company, and I feel like I got a great value.

+ -1 moreOur house roof was at least 20 years old and much of the aggregate had washed/weathered away. In mid- August, I got quotes from 6 roofing outfits and awarded the contract to Lynchburg Roofing. They were not the low bid, but I was impressed with the professionalism of the Owner. Their work schedule, due to the major storm that went through our area in June, prevented them from getting to us right away and scheduled to do the work in November (which was fine with us, since the roof was still weather-tight). The owner, Chris Good, contacted us October 19th with the estimated time of work and they came October 24th and 25th (great weather) to do the work. They were good about protecting vegetation around the house with tarps as they removed the old roofing on one side of the house and at the end of the first day they left the area neat and new roofing in place. The second day they did the same to the other part of the house and were done in the afternoon. The owner returned on Friday to check on the quality of the work and did final touchups. We would highly recommend this firm for Roofing needs. Great to work with and very helpful in explaining where we did not know something. Willing to do something new (vent system). Don't have any experience with their other services, but would assume they are as good in that area.
Description of Work: We hired Lynchburg Roofing to replace the existing asphalt shingle roofing with new architectural shingles. Also asked them to install a new venting system for the lower part of 2 roof slopes to provide for better air circulation, since our house can't have soffitt venting due to type of construction. We supplied the material for the venting. New Weather shield, drip edging, chimney flashing, ridge vent and vent stack boots were all to be placed. Had to make sure vegetation around house was protected from work activities and that materials would be cleaned up and removed to leave site as found before work began.

+ 0 moreThe company was professionally represented — punctual, responsive, polite knowledgeable and skilled workers. Quality materials. The only real glitch was that Velux, the skylight manufacturer, failed to ship the flashing kit and then shipped the wrong one, delaying the completion of the job by a couple days. The inventory showed it as having shipped, but no inspection of the inventory was done to verify. We are very pleased with the finished product. The owner had several of the skylights reset at our request to ensure the best possible alignment. The owner and foreman went above and beyond the call to finish the job.
Description of Work: New roof. Replaced some damaged wood and installed a fan, new shingles and skylights.

The job took all day, so we had time to interact with most of the crew, they were all polite, responsive, and professional. The job was completed with no problems and the entire crew got busy cleaning up, roofing is messy. They did a thorough cleanup, checked with us, and left our grounds as they found them. We give them a top rating and readily recommend them.

+ 0 moreThey were wonderful. As a matter of fact, I was going to figure out how to put a report for them on the Angie's List because they were just outstanding. They did a wonderful job. I just could see them up measuring and certainly did it perfect. All the employees were very respectful and nice. They didn't let down my plans. They didn't take the gutters either while they were doing the roof. They just did everything really very well. I compared their price with a few other companies, and they were a little bit lower and I had kind of a bidding more between them and the people who had just done the next door, and they came down. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. I would definitely use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Lynchburg Roofing to take out the old roof and skylights and put a new roof and two new skylights.
