We chose another company to do our roof. They were very nice and very professional but their estimate was considerably higher than the company that we chose. I know that we got a comparable product. They're very well respected.

Very badly. I called for an appointment. I was told I was confirmed. I never received a confirmation the day before. On the day of the appointment, they just no-showed. I keep calling and was told they were on their way. Then all of sudden I was told his truck broke down and he would not be out to the house for the quote, could I email pictures. I took pictures and emailed them. Then I called again to ensure they received the pictures as I did not get a response and was told he at a job site working. YIKES! The quote was horrible, way to high for flashing repair. The entire process was uncomfortable and unhappy. I have worked with many contractors but none that just didn't show up after scheduling. I am unsure how they have such a high rating. I try to be very interactive and if you need to reschedule or are not interested in bidding, please let me know but don't just not show up. That is unprofessional.

Lynchburg Roofing is a wonderful company. Everyone we had contact with was extremely pleasant and professional to work with. They were patient with questions we had about their product (especially in choosing a shingle color) and offered excellent and honest advice. The crew was always on time and very polite. We are extremely happy with our new roof and most definitely would use this company again.

I was very pleased with them. Recently we called them because we were having another issue and it wasn't something they could handle, but they referred us to someone who did and we were pleased with them too. They could have said they could not do it, but instead they said to call this person. I thought that was above and beyond. We went through our homeowner's and we paid our deductible. I can't remember what the price was. It took a day and a half or not more than two days to do the work. The fellow came, he was very conscientious, explained and did it. I looked, he had some good ratings on Angie's List, I called, the guy came out and I was very pleased with him on the phone and the girl in the office -- everything.

First, I thought I already left this review, I was here to do another review and saw it was not done, clearly a mistake as I could not be more pleased with Lynchburg Roofing. I also called them out for another job at a rental I owned. This job was done incredibly well! They arrived exactly on time, with a large crew, there were at least 2 on the ground keeping clean. They placed tarps over the shrubs so that pieces of shingle, nails, & felt did not get stuck in bushes. They completed the ENTIRE job and were gone before 5:00. Everything was spotless, I think my yard may have looked better after they left than before they came! I am selling my house and was very pleased that #1 on Angie's list also gave me the best price! I still have their sign in my yard with the For Sale sign because I want potential buyers to know that yes there is a new roof AND it is a quality roof! I even listed that they are #1 on Angies list in my MLS listing. Very pleased!!!

They did an excellent job, they had a minor goof up, but came out within the week and took care of it at no charge. We are very very pleased with the work.

Jason Orr came out to quote the job and was very thorough in his explanation of products and services. He went through the house to check for other potential areas of concern. We had to reschedule the quote a few times, but ultimately got it done. Jason was great about communicating conflicts and ensuring us he had not forgotten us. Once we determine what pieces of the project we needed to do, the crew was fast, neat and knowledgeable. They worked two days and you wouldn't know they were here. (aside from the hammers and ladder noise) They knew what they needed to do. The installer even identified a better product to seal the chimney than was originally quoted. He also identified we had work on the bath vents that didn't need to be done. Jason had added to the quote in case as he didn't see the ventilation. (minor cost savings). He quickly resolved and didn't waste anytime. It looks great and we are waiting for the next rain to see if the wider drip edge fixed our issues.

Crew showed up on time, consulted us before starting work. Worked a long day first day and cleaned up before leaving. Roof was replaced on much of the house and the old roof left in place on the balance of the house assurng protection if it rained. They completed work on the second day and cleaned up everything. Clean-up was great. There were several nits that needed to be touched up later and someone came out the next week and fixed them. I am very happy with the work and would recommend them to others.

They replaced the roof by first removing the old shingles. They protected all the shrubs around the house with tarps. Afterwards they did a great job cleaning up all debris and used a magnet for any nails. Theywere prompt, courteous and completed the job without any problems.

I got three quotes from locally owned businesses. Met with Chris (owner) of Lynchburg Roofing. His price was about the middle (other quotes were $8,000 and $13,000) and I felt quite comfortable with him. Very professional, came to meeting with his licenses, BBB report, etc., as well as photos of work. His quote included aerial photos of my home as well as a 3D roof diagram of my house with total square feet (3,048 in case you want to compare) and all relevant factors such as pitch, rakes, required flashing, etc. all mapped out. He was the only vendor to include this detail in his quote. Factors I particularly liked: his workers follow specific rules of conduct and dress; he donates a roof every year to a local family in need; he owns the business, so profits are kept/spent within Central Virginia. I was not in a rush, so I can't address time constraints, but we roughed in a time slot in advance then settled on specific days once it got closer. His staff started and finished on time; Rob (onsite manager) was available, friendly and knowledgeable; staff kept the yard clean and straight; contract price was what I paid. The foreman told me his truck had slid off the driveway due to rain, but they sent someone out to seed and put hay on the spot that was muddied. I am no roof expert, but it looks great, I have a nice warranty, and I feel comfortable that Lynchburg Roofing will be around for a long time. I highly recommend them.

They were excellent. They were very professional. They provided information upfront about what needed to be done. They gave us shingle choices. They came out to the house and it was everything you would expect somebody to do. They made it as easy as possible. They did a very good quality job. I look at the details on it and realize how much better they did versus the other contractors I've used. The price was a little high but I got the quality.

Workers arrived exactly at the time they said they would and performed the repairs in record time.

I was very pleased with the responsiveness and clear explanation on the details of the job, when the work could be performed and the time it took to complete the work. I was able to obtain references and actually see a sample of what my roof would look like as well as was able to talk to someone who used their services. I obtained 2 other quotes and feel the work was well done and a good value.

They were very professional and worked quickly and efficiently to complete the job in a day. I would advise anyone thinking of replacing their roof to call Lynchburg Roofing!

I'm on the Board of a POA and Lynchburg roofing was selected to do roofs in 2014 from a field of three. They were the most professional, had the highest rating, best prepared, and most informed of all we interviewed. We selected them after extensive review with the most confidence in their work even thought they were not the lowest bidder.

They were exactly on time for both the scheduled estimate and work appointments, did what they said they were going to do and cleaned up after the work.

We called Lynchburg roofing after we moved into a new house (built in 1993) and noticed some leaks in our upstairs bathroom vent. They were punctual for the estimate, but I was afraid that they were going to recommend the entire roof to be replaced, even if it didn't need to be. However, this wasn't the case, and it turned out the roof only needed about $150 worth of repairs. They fixed the roof, and I couldn't be happier. I was contacted as promised before and after the job, and would seriously consider them when we need our entire roof replaced.

She said they were neat, cleaned up all their mess. They were quick, but did a wonderful job. Very professional!

Lynchburg Roofing responded very quickly to us when we called. We had some water damage in an upstairs bathroom ceiling due to the boots wearing out. Lynchburg Roofing replaced them in a very timely manner. We also had some gutters that would overflow and again, in a very timely manner, Lynchburg Roofing cleaned the gutters and downspouts and solved the overflow problem.

The project was mutually scheduled, the crews (2) arrived on time and began working at once. Debris was cleared daily. The roof looks and performs great! I also took some comfort in the fact that Lynchburg Roofing is a GAF Certified Master Elite installer. At the end of the project Chris Good walked the project and addressed a few details the he felt needed attention. We received a written GAF warranty and registration 2-3 days after completion of the project. I that we got a terrific value.

As the first day was rainy, they delivered the materials to a designated place so they could start work the next day. They were here every day (Sat. & Labor Day too) so they could get the job finished quicker. There was always a 'boss' in-charge here so we could ask questions and know what was going on. This company was wonderful to work with. The address below is not the actual building that they worked on. I am President of our Homeowners Association and this is my address. However the 4 buildings that had their roofs replaced are on Greenside Court, Forest, VA 24551.

I am very pleased with the entire process. Very professional; always did just what was promised; not the lowest estimate I received, but definitely worth it. I didn't encounter a single problem.

Prior to Work: Sought estimates from 4 Contractors. Of all the contractors contacted Lynchburg Roofing was On Time, Provided a Professional Presentation about the Services and Materials Used, Provided a Check List for Comparison of their Services to Other Contractors, Detailed Information on Materials Used. Mr. Good shared information about his experience and work done in the Area. I was ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSED with the Professionalism of this Business Owner. We Opted to go with Lynchburg Roofing! Mr. Good provided written estimate that fit with the amount that insurance was to cover. However, he was also providing additions like Ice Shield, and higher quality ridge vent, and included drip edge. Mr. Good is a GAF Master Certified Roofer, which provides additional perks, if you use GAF Shingles (which were already on my roof). I really appreciated the Check List provided before the work began, on how to prepare your lawn, items to remove from walls etc. No deposit or payment is required prior to work completion and complete customer satisfaction. During the Work: Members of Lynchburg Roofing's team are employees of the company. Not Subcontractors. They are paid by the hour for their work, so they do not rush through the work. Mr. Good and the roofing team were absolutely responsive to questions, and explained the process completely. I really appreciated the professionalism of the team. The owner accompanied the homeowner in the final inspection to ensure customer expectation and satisfaction is met. Upon completion of the roofing work the team was very meticulous in cleaning up the work area and sweeping the lawn with magnetic sweepers to find stray nails. Work was began on 24 October and was accomplished over a 4 day period. Gutter work was done on a day when I was out of town, so I was not able to observe the team. But the installation and materials are SUPERB. Following the Work: Lynchburg Roofing followed up with me following installation to assure the roof is functioning properly and that I was satisfied with work done. His interest in the customer and the job does not end when the check is written. My experience with Chris Good exceeded my expectations One side of my home is exposed to a lot of wind and he showed me pictures showing me the difference in the roofing on both sides. Even on the worse side he said it didn't need replacing yet. He noted that I'm probably good for another 2 to 3 years. He indicated that it might be a siding problem and advised that I contact a siding professional. I have since done that and he agreed with Chris' conclusion. Having been in business for myself I always look for someone with honesty and integrity and Chris Good has both.

The work was good. I would use them again.
