Description of Work: He gave my husband and me a bid for building a custom home. We were impressed by the quality of the materials he bid and the reasonableness of the bid. Did not use his services because my husband died before we signed the contract. Very nice person to deal with, kind and down to earth.

Description of Work: M.L. Shores Construction company has become the premier custom home builder in Loudoun County , Virginia and Frederick County, Maryland. The company also does remodeling and room additions to meet customer needs. Mike and his team built our challenging dream home on schedule and brought it in on budget too. He also made changes and improved features as the house progressed to meet our desires. Mike has his own in-house carpenters; some have been with him 20 years or more so this is a highly skilled and experienced building team. Mike s subcontractors are hand picked and supervised by him too, and many have been with him for years. Many have asked him to build their homes. I continue to call on his skilled team for routine maintenance help. Just recently after joining Angies List, I needed to call the electrical and heating and air condition companies who worked on our home. We had experienced a probable power surge from last weeks thunder storms. Even though it has been six years since Mike built this house, both companies dispatched skilled technicians that day to check things out for our safety and peace of mind. The AC was damaged, but the skilled HVAC technician was able to make it work temporally pending arrival of new parts. Mike and his own carpenters as well as his other subcontractors including his plumbers, painters, drywall crew, tile man, cabinet maker, and roofers exemplifies the professionalism and outstanding can do quality work that every ML Shores customer receives.
