I couldn't be happier with my new roof, compliments of Timothy's Roofing! Five-star service, quality and responsiveness on every level. Russ, the sales manager (also Timothy's brother) contacted me the same day I submitted an online request for an estimate. Russ came out on a Saturday, at a time that was convenient for me, to do the estimate. He thoroughly inspected my roof inside and out before giving me an estimate for a roof replacement. Russ carefully explained all the details of my roof's current situation and what might be required for a full replacement (i.e. board replacement) to make sure that I understood there could be additional issues not visible until the old shingles were removed. Russ patiently answered all of my questions and even followed up with a phone call later that day to make sure I didn't have any further questions. Timothy's was the 4th estimate I had received and offered, by far, the best quality product AND WARRANTY for the best price...not to mention they had the best customer service! Since I had several shingles missing and the forecast was calling for rain later in the week, Timothy's squeezed me within 3 days of signing the contract! They dropped off the materials on the roof the night before so they could get to work first thing in the morning. Russ told me the crew would show up around 7am the day of and sure enough they arrived at 7am on the dot! The install crew consisted of 4 laborers and a project manager (Dennis) to oversee the job, plus Russ came by to check on the progress midday. I couldn't have asked for a better crew...they worked like dogs for 6 straight hours! The nice thing about Timothy's is they use their own crew so they are used to working together and know how to get the job done well and quickly! When looking for a roofer, the quality of product and price were the most important to me...Timothy's had the best value given the warranty and the high quality (American-made) GAF products they use. My roof was installed yesterday and I've already referred two neighbors and a friend in the past 24 hours. I am so impressed with this company...I wish they did more than just roofs, I would hire them again in a heartbeat!!!

I rate Timothy's A++. The written contract was specific in what they would do, which products they would use, and explained to me in detail. I chose Timberline HD shingles, with a Golden Pledge lifetime (50 years) warranty on both materials and labor. The warranty is provided by GAF and is valid even if the company is no longer around. Timothy's is one of only 7 GAF Master Elite certified contractors within 20 miles of my home (I checked the GAF website for this), and provided the lowest price on a GAF complete roofing system. On install day, they arrived at 7:00 am as promised in three company trucks containing everything they needed. The crew explained how they would protect my garden, lawn, sidewalk and deck, and put down plywood and tarps to do that. They cleaned up when the tear-off was done, and then set up the install of the new roof system. The crew worked methodically as a team that had clearly done this many times together, and were finished in about 6 hours. I asked them to remove some old cable TV wires and replace the attic exhaust fan, which they did at no additional charge. They then spent an hour cleaning up every nail, old shingle, and scrap of paper, leaving nothing behind except a beautiful new roof. I am very happy with the entire project.

I had a wonderful experience with Timothy's Roofing, from the first call to the day we got our beautiful new roof. I spoke with Russ throughout, and he was open and honest with me at every turn. We are out of the company's usual service area, but he was willing to make the hike out to our house to give us an estimate and go through our options. Between his honesty and knowledge of the products, and the warranty and quality they were offering, it was clear that they were the right choice. Price-wise they weren't the cheapest (not that I'd chose the cheapest, there's usually a reason behind it), but Russ was willing to work with me to get to a price I could handle. We live in a very windy area and had stapled down 3-tab shingles that were falling off left and right as well as some wood rot around the trim that was an eyesore. Timothy's came out and replaced with quality architectural shingles and wrapped all of the areas I wanted covered with aluminum, and it made my house look like new! I'm thrilled with the workmanship that Timothy's provided and grateful that Russ was willing to make the trip out and give us a chance. With the added bonus of the best warranty out there, you can't go wrong!

Noticed some leaking in our old roof on our duplex. Called Timothy's Roofing on Wednesday and spoke to Russ, and he offered to come on Friday for an estimate (quicker than three other places I called). He provided an estimate with a good warranty that was lower than two others I'd received. He had an opening the next day, the workers came promptly, finished the roof quickly (even though there was more to remove than originally expected, because the old roof had been placed on top of an even older roof), and cleaned up the mess. Am very pleased with the work and the prompt service -- would highly recommend Timothy's Roofing.

It went well, they did the work, it helped my gutters to last three more years.

They had an army on my roof of people working between rainstorms, and they managed to get it all done in one day. They were awesome. I've got a great 25-year warranty on the roofing materials AND the labor, and it doesn't depreciate in any way. The price was great, as I found the next quality level down from the same manufacturer elsewhere for about $7000 MORE than what I paid. Russ sold us on the job initially. He was very informative and helpful. He had lots of great information for me and made my first roofing experience easy. Being wary of salespeople, Russ made me feel at ease with my decision to get this work done. Stacked up against their competition, Timothy's Roofing outshined the others. In the two weeks that have passed since this work was done, I've sold two other roofs in my neighborhood for Timothy's based on how great mine looks.

Timothy's inspected the roof and provided a list of problems that needed to be corrected and a price. We scheduled a date for the work, and the work was completed in one day on schedule. The Timothy's team was competent and we'll organized. Everything proceeded smoothly. I can highly recommend them.

I called about removing snow and left a voicemail requesting a call back and to be provided a quote. I received a voicemail two days later informing me that they were closed th prior day (I presume it was from the sudden snow we got and my reason for calling the night beforehand). I then called in the afternoon and again got thier voicemail. I will not pursue their services because how can you provide snow removal services and be closed on the day of the snow. Also not being able to again get a hold of them leaves an impression they will be difficult to get sign up.

Started and completed as promised. Left area clean.

It went very well, completed almost everything in one day. Timothy's arrived for work with 5 roofers plus Russ the supervisor and one truck driver for debris at 8.00 am and worked until 6.00 in the evening. Two roofers returned the next morning to complete work. During the work day the roofers were very professional and respectful hard workers .Russ did superior job making sure no short cuts taken and checking constantly that they were putting trash in truck and not on ground , By the time they finished and cleaned up [ except for the great looking new roof ] you would not know they were here and completely removed and replaced roof. Great job very happy home owner. Would recommend to my neighbors and others Timothy's Roofing. Please respect price paid for work. Timothy's Roofing (Russ) was highly responsive. They were able to provide a formal quote the day they came to assess the property. They honored my Angie's list coupon. Materials were delivered very quickly and work began on time and completed the same day. They were very professional and cordial. They made the process completely painless. Very quick, with quality work and full professionalism.

Russ came out and went over my options and helped me choose the route to go with my roof (repair or replace). I opted to replace the roof given the warranty offered and so I didn't have to spend my money again in five years when the whole thing would need to be replaced anyway. Because I have a small roof, Russ indicated they'd be able to do it all in one fell swoop on a Saturday. My only complaints (and I hesitate to even call them complaints) are that from the time I signed the paperwork I didn't hear back from Russ at all until 8:30pm the night before they were coming to install the roof - since it was going to be "some Saturday in the future" I didn't know which Saturday I needed to be around, so finding out for sure only 12 hours prior was a little off-putting. Second, I didn't look up their Angie's List coupons until now writing this review (shame on me) because 1. I'd already received a recommendation on their work from my handy-man, and 2. their estimate came in at a slightly better rate (and better warranty) than the other two roofers I'd have come give me estimates. I noticed there's a coupon for $600 off a full roof replacement, and when Russ gave me the estimate I asked him about coupons/deals from Angie's list and he said he was giving me a discount already. Not entirely sure if that's true now, but it's my fault for not having checked the coupons. I was pleased with their punctuality and swift completion of the job, with very little inconvenience to me and my day. The guys who did the work were friendly and polite. Russ called the next day to collect payment and I very much appreciated being able to pay for it with my credit card instead of a check given all the other repairs I've been having to deal with in my new house.

Overall we are very satisfied, we had just moved into the home and it was in need of a new roof. Russ at Timothy?s Roofing was very knowledgeable and polite. He spent time to review all the different quotes with us to make sure he had the best deal. We felt very comfortable making our decision, and we were very happy with the resulting new roof and gutters. Thank you Russ & Timothy?s Roofing.

I had the misfortune of a few weeks of heavy rain after I signed the contract so Russ (Timothy's brother) arranged for a commercial crew (more workers) to do my house once we saw a window of good weather so they could knock out the job in about half a day. Russ was very accessible and responsive and great to deal with. I notified him a few weeks after the job about a minor problem with one of the gutters and he came out to my house and fixed it for me himself the next day.

As per usual, things went great. Because of all the rain, a waterlogged tree in my backyard fell over and punched a hole in my back roof one evening. The guys at Timothy's were the first folks I called the next morning because with more rain in the forecast, I needed to have the roof tarped that day while I waited for the insurance appraiser to come out. They came out that afternoon and got the roof sealed up, then told me to follow up with them as soon as the tree had been removed, so they could cover up any additional holes until they were able to do the replacement. I followed up the day the tree was removed and they came by that evening and made sure the roof was airtight, which was indispensable given all the rain we were having. No matter that the crew was often working at great distances from my N. VA home, they always made coming by to get the roof covered, and staying in touch with me about my discussions with the appraiser, and the timing of the replacement a priority. They also made time to replace my damaged back gutters while we were waiting for a day that was dry enough to allow the roof repairs to proceed. In short, because I had an excellent experience with them in 2011, I didn't hesitate to call them again during my latest roofing emergency. I wasn't disappointed. I can't thank, or praise them enough!!!

Timothy's was timely, thorough and the workers cleaned up the entire job site as they went along. I have the best looking roof in the neighborhood. The satelite dish had to be removed and replaced and when it tipped over in the next wind storm they came out and repaired and replaced that section of the roof with no questions asked. This was a very good experience.

Very responsive to all needs. Polite and considerate. Crew arrived on time and worked diligently until entire roof was under cover in the event of overnight rain. We were notified ahead of time for shingle deliveries and of the arrival of workers both for roof & separate installation of gutters. The job was supervised by Russ Robertson who remained on site for both jobs, and who went beyond the contract agreement to do minor repairs. He was also quite thorough in supervision of clean-up at the end of each day making certain there were no traces of roofing nails or debris around the foundation. This company was also very generous with a discount and donation to our local Elementary School as a result of our contract. We have received many compliments already on the new roof from passers-by as well as from our neighbors.

Timothys crew was excellent. From the great Salesman, Russ to the installers. Very professional, roof was removed and installed in one day. Yard was cleaned perfectly, couldn't even tell they had been there. I would highly recommend them!

I am very pleased with Timothy's Roofing. They were responsive, quick and professional. They did an excellent job of letting me know what type of material was best for my home, when they could do the job which was the next week and when Timothy's Roofing came out and did the job, they were extremely professional and customer friendly. I now have an excellent, strong roof. I am so glad I went with the company.

Although I did not select this company, I was extremely pleased with their responsiveness and customer service. I elected to go with another company due to a coupon secured with a substantial discount. I would definitely refer Timothy's Roofing to anyone who asked.

This is the second roof they have done for me (primary residence & rental property). Both were a great experience, with high quality work & customer service. Highly recommended.

Russ came out for the estimate and went over all of the details with me, including a cost estimate on the spot. Job was done timely and professionally, and they did a great job cleaning up during & after. Highly recommended.

After Russ came to assess my roof and give me an estimate on a new one, I didn't even bother with a second estimate. I had in mind that I wanted a Cool Roof but Russ said it wouldn't be worth the 35% additional cost and that a lighter colored shingle would do the job. I was impressed that he didn't try to sell me something more expensive than I needed. I have a large roof and felt that the $8.400 estimate was reasonable. Before Russ left he did some minor repairs to my roof to hold me over, at no charge. On the installation day, a big crew of guys arrived and took the old shingles off in a very short time, and they did it without anything landing on the grass or driveway. I have a freestanding fireplace in my living room that has been leaking since I bought the house. I've had three different repairs done on the brick, the flashing, and the furnace chimney, but the problem persisted. Timothy's crew discovered that the plywood around the chimney was nearly rotted through and was part of the problem. I have a cathedral ceiling on half the house, which was built in the sixties. They didn't have the technology back then to vent the roof properly so the insulation was actually sweating and contributing to my roof issues. About 10 of the plywood panels had to be replaced; new flashing was installed around the chimney; and the crew installed two fans on either side of the chimney to let air flow. I think that solved all the issues I've had for 10 years. I should have replaced the roof to start with! The new shingles went up quickly and look fantastic. The color is perfect for the house and really looks a lot lighter than the old brown. When the roof was done (all on the same day), the crew did a complete clean-up, including running a magnet around the house several times to be sure no nails escaped. If it weren't for the new roof no one would ever know they were here. The contract I signed called for extra payment for any plywood sheets replaced, and any other extras. When it came time to write the check, I was not charged for any of the extras. When does that ever happen? I should also mention that all of the crew were very friendly and informative. I am very happy with my new roof and plan to hire Timothy's to do the new siding in the near future. I highly recommend the company.
