Description of Work: We had Silverbrook Nursery remove some shrubbery and replace it with smaller shrubs and flowers. They did a great job. I was impressed with how well they cleaned everything up when they were done with the project. This is the third time we have had them do work for us. They do great work for a very fair price. We would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I had them out to give me an estimate for weeding/trimming my patio/small yard as well as weed treatment. It was extremely overgrown. The estimator (Jeremy) was professional and thorough but I did not hire them to do the work because I found an independent contractor who was able to do the job for less. If I had a major design landscaping project I would definitely consider using them.

Description of Work: We had a good experience originally with this company. We agreed on a plan to help restore grass on our four year old home. They aerated and planted seeds. Our grass was green and lush. Mark, representative from the company commented on how he wished he had taken a before and after picture. We were thrilled!! Then came the next application which was a weed killer. The grass immediately turned brown. It was burned up. My husband was told that there is nothing in weed killer that would kill the grass. He was also told that the lawn was supposed to be watered every other day (which was not done). All season we have had an ugly brown lawn. We will use this company to finish our contract but will not use them again. The only problem I have is that the goal of achieving a beautiful lawn was not met. And no effort to remedy this problem was made.

Description of Work: Once the job is scheduled, Silverbrook is very professional and does a good job. However, it is hard to schedule landscaping as calls go unreturned for quite a while.

Description of Work: Over a period of three days, Silverbrook installed a creek bed from our backyard gate using fieldstone steppers creating an attractive path to the backyard. They also created two stacked walls surrounding islands of planted materials and bird feeders. Also planted were eight trees ( holly & green giant arborvitae), and a number of plants. Around the fieldstone steppers, riverjack stone was placed on landscape fabric to prevent stone settlement into the soil. We are highly pleased with the job done and wouldn"t hesitiate to use silverbrook for all our landscaping needs. They are extremely professional, timely, and reasonably priced.

Description of Work: The company was contacted several days in advance to provide an estimate for an hardscape patio, deck, and other landscaping. The company was provided the address location of the project. Inorder to meet the company representative, I took off from work. On the day of the appointment, the representative call about an hour before the appointment to say that he was going to cancel the appointment becasue the project was too far for him to travel from his business an therefore, he was not interested in my project. Since I am about 6 miles from the business, the reason for turing down my project seemed rather lame. If they didn't want the project, they should have not agreed to meet discuss and estimate the project several days earlier. As a result, this business caused me to lose a full day of work unecessarily, What this company did to me was very unprofessional and a poor business practice. However, it is better to discover that a business is irresponsible before they start a project then to findout after you hire them. I definitely would not want them handling any project due to their irresponsible behavior.
