It took less than a month to getting an estimate to final completion. Jeremiah and Tom were the reps we dealt with and we couldn't have had a better experience. Friendly, courteous and involved when the actual work was being done. One of the best prices of all the quotes that we obtained. Roof looks outstanding now and since then we have had torrential downpours and know that there are no leaks. The workers were courteous when working the roof although I did have to call Tom to ask that they not drop the bundles on the roof since it was shaking the house. Workers were dropping the tiles from waist high instead of binding over to put the tiles on the roof. Tom had advised the workers to place the tiles but the workers continued to drop when he was about to leave and so I had to ask him again to stop them banging or be responsible for the chandelier if it fell (that's how bad the shaking of the house). He told them again and the banging stopped. Overall though we are very satisfied and will definitely use ORION again. One other thing that needs to be noted is that they voluntarily fixed a couple of loose sidings which have been hanging loose months before ORION ever came to the house.

Jeremiah runs his company well. Professional, punctual and good communication skills. His estimator, facilitator Brian is a pleasure to work with and is a good listener and finds solutions. I heartily recommend OHI.

We set up a meeting with Brian one weekday evening, he was here on time completed the evaluation and the measurements and advised us that he would come back with a quote. My husband and I read reviews of the company and it was pretty good. We set up the next meeting a few days later and Brian walked us through the quote, showed us pictures from our attic and roof and walked us through what Orion would be doing if we signed the contract. The roofing details along with pictures were very specific to the roofing work and showed a comparison of what was before and after. The information provided was very easy to understand and was delivered professionally. My husband and I signed the contract and we got a new roof within a week's time. It was just two days after the last snow and I was sure they would postpone the roofing job, but they came the previous day, removed the ice and snow, delivered the roofing materials and completed the job the very next day as was advised. Once they started removing the old roof they found that our roof boards were not quite good enough and after discussing options with my husband, new boards were put in to replace the rotting ones and our roofing price was a little more. They were here promptly here on time and the work was completed late afternoon. The crew cleaned up all the debris very neatly.

Brian and Jeremiah are professionals and Orion renewed my faith in old fashioned quality business practices. The pricing was good, too. Exactly what my options were was explained well, as was what I could expect, and most importantly, no pressure to up-sale or add unnecessary work. The opinions and assessments rendered were just that - and for those recommendations I am bringing them back in the spring. The new siding and rear gutters and paint job and pressure cleaning were all executed well. The clean up was thorough - something often overlooked by exterior repair crews. Only a trace of sawdust in the sidewalk cracks showed that they were ever there. I had thought I had the beginnings of peeling paint but the homeowner association said that it was dry rot - and Orion confirmed it was not just rot, but extensive rot . They began work immediately as bad weather was moving in. Jeremiah allowed me to stretch payments over several weeks because he knew the trouble I was in both financially and in home integrity. I don't know that Orion would do that for everybody, but it was a God-send to me. As a vet facing job loss and a large family, it was stressful situation. My neighbor's roof had a fallen board which was compromising my flashing but he refused to repair it - the work crew nailed it back up at least so my roof and attic wasn't endangered. How refreshing to deal with proactive professionals that care about quality and preventative maintenance while earning a living without trying to gouge someone. In all my decades of home ownership, Orion has earned top spot as my go-to contractor.

with in Week of the estimate Brian provided, they came out and replaced the rotted plank. I would have thought it was little dangerous since we did have snow and it was freezing temp, which meant icy conditions. However, these guys came and did a great job with professionalism.

Their technician was able to find the source from out attic quickly. The crew were so neat and cleaned up well after themselves. They were very conscientious about keeping track of their materials so there was not a mess. There were two crew members and it took about 4 hours to complete the work. The salesman said he would get back to me shortly, however I had to call him to follow up two days later. The salesman was not the most responsive but when he was here, he was very attentive and listened to me.

I just moved into our 40 year old home in Alexandria last year. The first thing we did to uprgrade it was to add new windows. After a rain storm, I noticed dirt on the windows that had literally bounced up off the ground where rain water had over-run our gutters. We contacted Orion and one other company to look at repairing our gutters and cleaning them out. Orion provided an assessment team who came and looked at the gutters and then sat down with us to show us pictures of the areas where they were damaged and in need of repair and areas where they literally had oak tree saplings growing in them! We saw some sagging in our roof at a bump out for the dinning room and they described the damage in detail and means to repair it. We were convinced that Orion knew what they were doing and contracted with them. They did a great job in all elements of the work, but by far the best element was follow-through with us on the job. The company leadership walked through the job site with us and ensured that everything was done to our expectation or greatly exceeded our expectation. They provided not only more than we expected, they also painted our front door area to match the new gutter system! I was amazed at the customer service...it is the best we have had in all the work that we have had done to our home so far and we recommend them to our friends.

This was a complicated job because the roof has many angles and sections and the "Decra tiles" are coated metal, which required lots of cutting. The house is Spanish style. Orion's price was several thousand dollars less than another company's estimate. They were terrifically responsive to every question and concern. Their workers were considerate of us and our neighbors in terms of noise, parking of vehicles, etc. The roof looks fabulous. Hopefully we will never have to replace the roof again. But we would happily use Orion for other projects should they arise.

House definitely needed a new roof. The previous owners just put a second layer of shingles over the previous ones, which is basically insane. Add on top of that there were some visible spots of bad sheething/plywood. Looked up some local roofing companies because living in Springfield I know there are a lot of local guys to do the work. Went with Orion because they had a good price, good references and were professional and upfront about potential upsets in the price - i.e. needing new sheething in certain spots. I had a sunroom with shingles that were only 10 years old, but I had him swap it out as well because it was cheap to add on and didn't add any days to the project and kept all the thingles matching. BTW, ended up swapping 7 sheets of sheething/plywood, which was in line with his estimate of 5-10% of the roof. I also added a vent to the top, which so far is doing a noticeable job of keeping the upstairs/attic from retaining a lot of heat. Not sure how this will ding me in the winter, but is saving me money now in the summer. The "Leaf Relief" was a little pricey but looks really good and hopefully will keep me from having to clean gutters for a long, long while (fingers crossed). He uses GAF shingles, which you can look up on the internet. We fixed a couple small issues I was being picky about on the final inspection and I paid up for a job overall well done. Advice to anyone getting a roof swapped: make sure you check all the odd spots of your roof. Mine had a few odd spots since it has an addition and so I have to be careful about where water can go. They did a good job making sure the flashing was layered right so the rain doesn't get in anywhere. Was going to ding on punctuality because they were a day early, which I guess is technically not punctual, even though it wasn't a big deal for me. He did communicate this ahead of time and I agreed to it. All in all, professional service from a smaller company, which is what I look for because it means low overhead for me to pay.

Working with Orion was an absolute pleasure, from my initial meeting to recently needing a follow up. I needed a new roof, along with some other repairs, and Orion did a fantastic job at meeting my expectations! I had a unique situation with a sensitive timeline and Jeremiah had no issues accommodating to meet that timeline. Jeremiah provided an estimate that outlined the work that needed to be performed and supported those recommendations with detailed photos of the areas in need of repair. My neighbors had some issues with the adjoining roof (I live in a townhome) that was causing water to leak into my home; Jeremiah identified those issues and was able prevent potential issues in the future. On the day of the job, Jeremiah was there, just as he had said he would be, to get the crew started. Prior to starting the job, Jeremiah said that he likes to personally ensure the job is done correctly and to his high standards. By his actions of actually getting on the roof and being there at the start of the job and during some of it, I felt like he truly cared about the quality of work his crew was providing. Once the job was completed, which was in the timeframe that was promised to me, Jeremiah was there to inspect the job with me. I was never rushed and every question or concern I had was answered, and with enough detail that made it easy for me to understand the reasoning behind his answers. As an example to show how easy it was to work with Orion, I had to switch out my shingles AFTER they were delivered; Jeremiah took care of it without any hassle! I was relieved that switching out my shingles was not going to be an issue and even with switching the shingles, Orion was able to still have the work completed on time! Jeremiah was always honest and up front about the issues with replacing my roof, I never felt like hidden issues were magically found during the work. From the beginning to end of working with Jeremiah, I was provided honest answers to the questions I had and never felt like work was suggested to raise the amount of money I was spending. Recently I had to contact Jeremiah for some follow up work and questions about work that another company suggested concerning attic ventilation. Once again he came to my home and checked out my concern and provided advice on what I should do and he also informed me of other issues that may arise that the other company failed to mention. Once again he demonstrated his honesty and commitment to customer satisfaction by how quickly he responded and addressed my concerns. Orion truly does care about customer satisfaction and is clearly demonstrated through the responsiveness of Jeremiah and the quality of work provided by Orion!

They were very professional and explained things in detail. They were courteous and very concerned about clients. However, they were a little expensive.

GREAT! Roof, gutters, ridge vents and soffit vents were installed as planned and the roof and everything else looks wonderful!

The job went perfectly. Orion's commitment to customer service and to high quality repairs is impressive. We were lucky, no extreme storm damage. Mr. Davies arrived on time to complete an exterior inspection of the siding, roofing, gutters and all other exterior components. He gave us a written estimate with suggested options. No pressure, no games. He gave what we feel was an honest opinion of needed repairs. He told us when he would be back to perform the work and again arrived on time. The job was to rehang the front gutter and clean all gutters, bag debris. He was here for a few hours. I had no doubt that everything was completed well. In fact, he told me the front gutter needed to be repositioned so it would drain more efficiently. He repositioned it while he was here and there was no extra charge. Mr. Davies is highly professional, disciplined and thorough. His is our home improvement company of choice. I could not be more pleased with his expertise and company ethics.
