Description of Work: I purchased a special for my annual AC check-up. They identified some problems and I've since purchased a brand new system from them. They worked directly with my home warranty provider to get me up and running ASAP before my out of town guests arrived. I've recommended them to my neighbors and coworkers. Thanks for a job well done!

Description of Work: I purchased the big deal for $75 for whole house plumbing inspection, water heater flush + $50 credit. My experience was good. I signed up for yearly contract with them.

Description of Work: Fixed several plumbing problems, including repairing two sink faucets and replacing a temporary sink connection with a permanent pipe. The work was done well and reasonably timely. There was a bit of sticker shock as to the price and I felt I was not given adequate preparation of what the expected cost would be, but that was partly my fault for not asking more forcibly for some sort of cost estimate.

Description of Work: The provider forgot the scheduled appointment. Because the technician had not arrived, I called to find out the status of the technician only to find out he would not arrive for another 45 minutes.

Description of Work: Tech came out to service gas fireplace. Took apart burner said parts and service would run Over $500. Stated $99 fee paid would be applied. Tech said the part was costly. I had also asked when scheduling the appointment if the person coming out could give me an estimate on plumbing. |When I asked Tech about estimate for plumbing he stated he was not a plumber.BUT stated he could send someone out to look at the problem. |Tech was very polite and seemed to know gas fireplaces. |After Tech left I reviewed my gas fireplace manual and found some parts were under manufacturer life time warranty. |NICE Customer support contacted me later in week during office hours. I briefly spoke with NICE rep and told them I couldn't go in to detail as I was at work. They stated they would get back to me. I have not heard back from them. |I have spoken to manufacture about the warranty on parts and pricing.. they said I would have to speak to one of their certified dealers for quotes.. NICE was not one of their certified shops. |overall average experience with NICE was nice but nothing outstanding. My fireplace and my problems are still problems and costed me $99 to confirm that I had a fireplace and plumbing problems. |

Description of Work: They went out if there way to try and schedule my gas fireplace service during a very busy time of the year. I went with another service that had a guaranteed service time, but I was very appreciative of NICE's customer service.

Description of Work: Overall, I was pleased with the installation of my whole-home humidifier, UV light, and duct cleaning. However, I would have appreciated it if the duct cleaning technicians would have covered the cloths in my closet before removing the vent. A huge stack of clothing had to be dry cleaned afterwards to get the drywall particles out.

George, the Service Tech, also gave me pointers on how to improve the efficiency and reduce drafts. I was so please, I bought the annual maintenance package.
