After having two different repairs companies out that had two different ideas of what work was needed I contacted Nice. George came out and checked the system out and found that it needed cleaning. Immediately after his work we felt the difference. Signed up for their plan. I think they will be our go to company from now on!

Services went well. There was some rescheduling that happened, one with late notice, but the company was professional and considerate. They provided some useful information about our systems and a quote for a much needed upgrade. We eventually went with another company due to pricing on the hvac upgrade but would have had no qualms using them again.

Everything was fantastic! Thank you for the ease of scheduling the appointment and the outstanding work you completed. I went through 2-10 warranty with six contractors before I found someone to complete the work. That's real NICE!

When I purchase a service, I really just want the service done quickly, correctly and without a sales job on other services the company provides. Frankly, this deal felt like an excuse to get in the door. I was out of town and my spouse took the appointment for me...and I owe him a beverage for the effort, because.... Yes, the work was done on the fireplace and furnace...but I got so much more. Like an estimate for HVAC service options ranging from $500-$3K (this is a fireplace and furnace service package), plus email and phone calls to follow up on all these other "necessary" projects. I recommend the company stick with simple professional service and maybe a brochure on everything else the company has to offer. That approach is going to get more business from me than an additional-services sales job I didn't pay for in this deal. I did have another service come over and inspect the fireplace after I was told it was unsafe because of a small hole in the "manifold" (don't believe this is the correct technical term for a burner in a vented gas fireplace without a blower). The other workman I hired was able to complete a 3-minute weld job without any issues...small repair vice an expensive whole system replacement. I'm sure it was intended with the best in mind for me the customer...but I'm not the customer for this approach. Disappointing and a guarantee I will not be calling back.

It went fine. We didn't go with the company they had recommended that we needed a new system and it was only two of those things that were purchased because we have two systems in the house. We got the credit but basically they came in and they said you need a new system and they didn't do anything else. The price was a little high because they didn't do anything. They were very friendly.

NICE Home Services were extremely professional, timely, hard working and budget friendly. We evaluated other Air Conditioner vendors in the No VA area...but NICE offered the best deal and was timely due to the weather (it was very, very hot). They have wonderful customer service and they worked all day (8 hours) without a break to get our new unit installed and running. I'm so glad I used Angie's List otherwise I might not have known of them.

They said that the plumber that was supposed to do it had crushed his car and then, the next day he quit. They changed the appointment like four times. They eventually did it, but it took them like five different appointments and a week to complete it. They honored the price, but it was just kind of a hassle. If you need it fast, you cannot get it. If you need it cheap, you can get it, but you got to wait. I called another plumber from Angie’s List and just asked them what it would cost. They wanted to do an estimate. It was just a garbage disposal and they came out and said like $700 and these guys just did it for $275. I would use them again only if I had time to wait. So, it is possible I would use them again, but they would not be the first option I would try if I were in a hurry.

Very, very well. Nice Home Services truly lived up to its name. All personnel, from receptionist, to salesman, to on site installation crew were nice, answered all our questions, and made sure we understood everything they did and that we were satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship. I would highly recommend this company for their service, responsiveness, and price.

THE SUPPORTING DETAILS! 1. THEY VIOLATED MY WARRANTY AND?BREACHED MY CONTRACT WITH THEM.? NICE HS installed a $9,000 new HVAC system IMPROPERLY by neglecting to connect one of my "return ducts" in my attic. This "mistake" caused HOT AIR to blow into my bedroom for the five hottest months of the year and spiked my utility bills by 25%. When I discovered this duct 10 months later (my 1 year installation warranty stated that "all return ducts be connected"), they refused to correct their mistake by claiming this was "not a warrantied service" (despite the clear reference on the contract). They claimed to have "done an investigation", determined that I was requesting "Modification Work" (defined as "changes in previously installed HVAC work") and tried to CHARGE ME $900. DUCT WAS NEVER CONNECTED. Falsely categorized. CONSTITUTES A DIRECT VIOLATION OF MY WARRANTY. ? 2. THEY PRACTICED DECCEPTIVE TACTICS TO??SELL? ME A HIGH TECH THERMOSTAT COSTING $1,000. They also sold me a $1K thermostat by A.?PROVIDING NO OTHER OPTIONS, B. HIDING the ADDITIONAL CHARGE in with the cost of?the system (never itemized or told of this cost) and C. With FULL KNOWLEDGE?that the WIRING IN MY HOUSE (circa 1957) was NOT ADEQUATE to support this?device, which has now STOPPED WORKING. Per the FTC, this fits the definition of "deceptive business practices", which is a Federal violation. 3. THEY BLOCKED ALL AVENUES OF?COMMUNICATION FROM ME TO EVADE RESPONSIBILITY To clearly demonstrate their total lack?of respect for their customers, their contractual obligations and any integrity in their business and customer relations dealing, NICE Home Service?s Director of Customer Services, Ms. Cherie Hudson, decided the best course of?action to deal with their mistakes was to "BLOCK MY COMMUNICATION WITH THEM". She blocked my EMAIL from the company's servers, put a?"LOCK" on my account so I couldn't call to schedule service, and?CANCELLED my Service Contract illegally (required a 30 notice in writing not honored/no refund my paid premiums).? To date, they have still not owned up to?any responsibility. I can only hope I have saved some potential customers from doing business with this unethical company and saved them from the months of time consuming frustration they have caused me.

This is a very professional company. Mike was extremely courteous and knowledgable. We decided to upgrade our outdated fireplace system with a new one and could not be happier!

They did a good job. I didn't have any issue with them. We kind of talked and they were prompt in doing what they needed to do. It looked okay. There was nothing exceptional, but they did a good job.

Nice Home Services is an outstanding company! They did a terrific job on cleaning my gas fireplace, logs and glass. This was the best cleaning job ever. My fireplace looks brand new. I would definitely recommend them to everyone and would use them again. Mike was the technician that came to my home. He was professional and did a remarkable job. Just call them for all your services. This company is all about professionalism and quality.

The technician was very nice and professional. He even shoveled my driveway to make way for the new unit. His service and expertise were top notch. My only issue was with the presentation of the pricing. I thought the management was a little disingenuous with the pricing promotion. I would have paid the price either way because it was reasonable. I just did not appreciate the representation that is was a special price when it was typical pricing for that service.

Received a phone call on the previous night to confirm time. Received e-mail with installer's photo prior to arrival. Received phone call prior to arrival. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional maintenance. This repair is how business should always be conducted.

When the technician, Mike, arrived on time, he was prepared to go to work right away. Mike set out to work, and explained everything he was doing, keeping me informed, and had everything he needed to complete servicing our Gas Logs. He was very polite and thoughtful, and provided me with good information that I might need I the future. In short, he was wonderful, I would definately hire him and Nice Home Services again. From the very beginning of first contact with Nice Home's customer service to set up my appointment to the follow up call after service was completed, I was "Wowed". I'm very happy I have found a service company who is committed to good customer service.

The service went fine, he was very friendly. However, I do think the bag of embers was a little expensive, but the price of the tune up and cleaning was an A.

This review reflects multiple (approximately 4) visits. These guys have been great. They have provided quality service. I plan to have them re-install the propane fireplace once we rebuild the surrounding wall/structure to hold it.
