Description of Work: Gas log igniter not working. Contractor was able to make it work with some degree of difficulty. Cannot fix or replace part. Was told to buy whole new gas log set up. Was done in 15 minutes. Not worth his minimal effort and lack of options other than to purchase a new unit.

Description of Work: We had service for 2 gas fireplaces, using an Angie's list coupon. Scheduling on a Saturday morning was easy, the technician showed up on time, and all service was provided promptly and professionally. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Description of Work: Service was through home warranty service. They didn't have the part we needed and we had no heat for three days during the coldest days of winter that year. I don't know if another service provider would have had the part but that was my only complaint.

Description of Work: Overall the technicians were very good and courteous. The only complaint I had was the first technician was not very careful and got soot from the fireplace on my brand new tan carpet. He did go out and buy cleaning materials and clean it, but it still left a very slight stain, that could have been avoided.

Description of Work: Our fireplace would not start, so I called these guys after reading the positive reviews on Angie's List. They also had a deal for a $99 check up and diagnostics, which included $100 off any needed service. I had contact with two technicians. Both were professional and did a good job. It turned out the thermopile had to be replaced. Once they did that, things seemed to work fine for a few days. Unfortunately, several days later, the fireplace would not start again. I gave the company a call and they sent someone to follow up right away. That was free of charge and we have not had any issues since then. I would recommend Nice Home Services to others.
