Description of Work: Cleaned our electric fireplace. The technician was very good and did a fine job of cleaning. My problem was with the cost of additional fire bricks. We were charged $90 for the bricks. The technician opened a new pack of bricks and put about half of them in the fireplace and took the rest with him. I checked later with Home Depot and found the bricks could be bought for $10-$25. The charge for the few bricks made the service cost as much as we paid for the original service. I emailed the company for an explanation, but never got a reply. I also signed up for a service plan with them and will now have to be extra careful about other over charges. Depending on how it goes, this may be the only time I will use them again.

Description of Work: NICE home services cleaned our gas fireplace. Our fireplace is 7 years old and was never cleaned, it was dirty and the flame had a strange orange appearance. The technician cleaned the logs, burners, replaced the embers, cleaned the glass, checked the burner, and thoroughly vacuumed the unit. It works like new now. This was a bargain.
