Fredy Trinidad was the clinician who came on this service call. He was very friendly, called ahead to let me know he was coming, and very professional. He wore booties to protect my carpet as well. Fredy addressed my concerns with the gas fireplace. Not knowing much about how the gas fireplace operates, he could have sold me a bill of goods. However, he was courteous and to the point, fixed things without additional and unnecessary work, and was very prompt. He recommended a yearly contract but did not push it. He left the information for me to consider, and finished his appointment in 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this company again!

very helpful in explaining and going over all of the options available after assessing the problem with the old furnace. did not push a particular solution to the problem but provided all of the options and the advantages and disadvantages of each. showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. very professional.

Francisco from NICE saved the day! Our hot water heater was on the fritz, and he came out on a Saturday night to diagnose the problem. Upon determining that we needed a new water heater, he came out promptly the next day (a Sunday, his day off!) to fix it. He was extremely helpful and worked through many obstacles to get the water heater replaced on an emergency basis. Other companies were saying it would take a week or more! I couldn't believe he came out two weekend nights in a row and had the heater heater in stock to replace for us. He even called us a week later to follow up and make sure everything was working the way it should. We definitely know who we will be calling next time! It was a tough situation, and Francisco was the best!!

AC/ unit inspected by another company (year contract). Have repair/replace contract with/another insurance company. This company supplied by insurance completed on time, tech helpful, friendly and neat.

The service provided was okay, but they were continually trying to sell me services I don't believe I needed, including two new air conditioning units for my home. I'm not saying the service was bad, just inconsistent. I opted not renew a service contract.

It was very good. They were punctual, professional and did everything they said they would do.

We used this company through our home warranty company. Our A/C went bad, and they were the followed 3 other companies who couldn't figure out the problem. They were the first to actually get the problem fixed. They were incredibly professional and prompt in their service. The only criticism I have is they could do better to keep me informed with regards to the status of the parts.

On the visit, they seemed more focused on installing the uv light then on the tune-up. I had to mention the tune up to make sure they were going to be preforming that service as well since they only mentioned the light. While they were installing the light they started looking over some of the a/c unit. The techs were professional the whole time with yes and no sirs. According to their website and the check list on this site, mentioned vacuuming and dusting of the blower, the tech was telling me it was dirty and that I would need to pay to get it cleaned and that I could either pay just to get it cleaned for $250 or get a duct cleaning that would include the blower for $600. I had not fully read what was suppose to have been performed during the tune-up so I did not question this and since this is my first house and my first servicing of my ac unit. They looked at a few other items in the ac unit and then was going to vacuum some dust off the top of the unit so then asked me to use my vacuum instead of having their own equipment. The techs installed the U/V light but was a different light then what I paid for from the site. It was a similar model but what appeared to be a lower quality unit and installed it in a improper location that after doing research was basically useless. After a few other checks they went to check the outside unit. But before we get to that, they failed to check any of the dampers, vents throughout the house, the returns, or the thermostat that I found out later was suppose to have been performed as well. When they got to the outside unit, they pointed out that the coils were "black" and had leaves inside the center part of the unit. The coils were grey not black but they could of used a good cleaning with a hose. They then checked the temp of the refrigerant line and said that it was higher then it should be and would need coolant but in order to do that the unit would need to be cleaned for a fee of $130 and then extra for the coolant. They finished checking the rest of the unit and was kinda waiting to see if I was going to have it cleaned. With how they talked about it being low on coolant I agreed to having the unit cleaned for an extra $130 so they could then put coolant in to make it run more efficient. After looking back on the checklist of services that were suppose to have been performed, they were suppose to have cleaned the leaves out of the unit and spray down the outside unit with a water hose. They were not about to per form that service and "tricked" me into paying for a cleaning. They did do a chemical cleaning but it was still something that wasnt needed in order to do the coolant. They put coolant into the unit and after they put it in, they checked the temperature of the line again and it was basically the same as it was before and not within the range he said it needed to be. When asked about it, he sent his helper into the house to check the temp of the air at the return and after the blower. When they told me the temp, I asked what it was before they added the coolant but they had failed to record a reading which basically means there was no data to compare before and after readings on. He told me he put in three pounds of coolant but they did not weigh the tank before or after putting in the coolant. The tech kept saying he was part owner of the company but after talking to the manager at the company he was not. When I called the company to complain, they sent out a supervisor the next week to perform the tune-up correctly. The supervisor, Craig, did a good job and did go above what was on the check list with doing a chemical cleaning of the blower. He also brought out the proper U/V light and put it in the proper location. Craig did a good job and did spend the extra time to do the job correctly. While he did do that, there was another issue that happened afterwards envolving the possibly of installing a new product that led to them saying they would not do it for any cost and was rude in the responses then ended the emails with "thank you" which seemed condescending but did refund me the cost of the extra items that the original crew charged me. Even though Craig did come out and correct the issues from the first crew that showed up, if I would not of did my research into what was suppose to have been done then documented what was and wasn't done, then I would of ended up paying for extra services that was sold. Wether it is the case or not, this leads me to partially think that they did one of those sales where they charge you a cheap price to get in the door then start racking up the cost by "add ons" that were not needed to have been paid for. With that I would be very cautious with using them if you decide to buy the cheap tune up.

The experience has been good. They've sent me emails about when my next service is due. The price was pretty good.

They were generally on time & very knowledgeable. They were very willing to answer my questions and show me how the furnace components worked.

Craig showed up as promised and was very professional & knowledgeable. He went right to work and quickly isolated the source of the Freon leak with the heat pump. Home warranty refused to cover the repair, but Craig was very helpful talking me through my options. We eventually selected another company for the repair on price.

Everything went great. It was originally a Home Warranty call and they sent over NICE. The tech was very knowledgeable and professional. He promised me heat, which I hadn't had in 3 days and delivered. He did not have the motor that my furnace needed so he ordered it and replaced mine with a temporary smaller one. It worked great. The following week the company called and told me that my motor was in. We scheduled an appointment, the tech came and replaced the motor again. They were wonderful and I went ahead and got the maintence plan with them. I was very happy and I would recommend them.

It was a new unit and installed about a year ago. They were terrific. The young guy who came was knowledgeable and able to find the problem. They called right away and told us when the technician would be out. Everyone was very pleasant.

The service was fine. I had no problems. The guy was very nice and explained different things such as maintenance. They were very good about giving us a better time for the appointment.
