After the main office screwed up my original appointment,(*) another appt was made and Guil the technician showed up as scheduled and he was very thorough.He evaluated the plumbing through out the house,flushed my water heater and evaluated and partially fixed a problem with my toilet. There were some potential leaks he spotted and need for a new pressure relief valve for my water heater. Estimates for repairs were given and degree of urgency of repairs was discussed. We also reviewed the feasibility of some other future projects as well as the cost and perks of a dual maintenance service plan for my water heater and furnace. Someone does have to come back to put one piece on the toilet and replace the pressure relief valve on the water heater. (*) The deal I had gave me a $50 credit for the toilet repair today and another $50 for next time. I wish the toilet could have been completely fixed today,and not billed as two separate jobs. . I was given a receipt and estimate on the spot via email and the cell number of the tech. The estimate tho is not broken down ito parts vs labor but they will intercede for customer with manufacturer if parts go bad. So they do prefer that customer does not supply own parts,eg a garbage disposal.Statements are very difficult to understand and I was told I was getting a revises one,but it ever came. UPDATE: plumber returned today to finish job from last visit. He asked ME what was needed. Really??? Luckily he had a well stocked truck and was able to fix toilet,but what if he hadn't had part? How does someone come to a job and not know what was to be done???????????????????????????????????? Customer service is very anxious to satisfy customer and make them feel appreciated but follow through is a little wanting.;

Nice promptly responded to our urgent need to repair a leaking drain near of washing machine. The first appointment ran late due to a complicated problem ahead of our appointment. Since it was very late I asked if they wanted to reschedule. Nice arrived on time for the second appointment and quickly confirmed the problem. Extra parts were needed so another appointment was needed. This was not a problem for us since the repair was urgent but not an emergency. Once the parts were on hand Nice came out and quickly resolved the problem. Both service technicians who came to the house were professional and knowledgeable. Nice kept us well informed about the delays and the status of the service.

Recommended a remote control due to wires are going bad.

Confirmed appointment by email a few days before, they by phone the day before. Technician also called when on the way. Rich was very courteous & informative. He made sure to cover rug with drop cloth & clean-up when done.

Scheduling wasn't a problem. They were on-time. He couldn't have done a better job. I was happy with the price and would have been willing to pay even more. I would recommend them to anyone.

They came out and said the fireplace was too old and it can’t accept a remote control to operate it. It would cost $3000 to upgrade, which we decided not to do. I wish they’d asked how old our fireplace was over the phone so my husband hadn’t taken a day off of work to meet with them. But they were very pleasant.

.I did have to pay extra. The guy that came out was nice. The company policies are not real clear. I had pre-paid for a certain amount. He did the repair. He said that they normally charge $200 for travel and just coming out. They came out within the week. He was knowledgeable and polite. I might use them again. they were tech savvy. He gave me a free estimate on installing a water heater.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was excellent. There were actually two visits, one on February 4th and the other on February 11th. We paid additional charges because we wanted a remote control installed and we needed a part. It was nothing that we did not expect. They put the discount on the remote control because we had gone through Angie's List. We would absolutely use them again.

Francisco was excellent! He was on time, fixed the problem right away, and gave great advice to prevent future plumbing issues. I will definitely use their services again.

They gave advise about upgrades and remotes. They were competent and efficient.

Dominic and Nino came to our house for duct and dryer vent cleaning. They arrived on time and did a great job. They took good care of our house and also cleaned up after the service. We were really happy with their work, and we would highly recommend them.

It went well, he explained step by step the procedures to turn on and off the fireplace. And his company is all paperless billing. Eco-friendly

The scheduling office was very nice and easy to work with. They even called me the day of service because the technician was delayed a bit. Then 30 minutes before the tech was arriving he too called me. The tech was professional and very well versed on the problem. He took care of business and helped me undertand everything that was happening. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for the services they provide and I will use them again!

I wasn't here when the service happened, but my husband was, and I think he was very pleased. He didn't have anything bad to say at all.The price was less than I thought it would be.

Dominic and Nino were professional, courteous and great. They were on time and had great communication skills. They worked well as a team and did the job quickly and effectively. I was very pleased with the service provided by the team from NICE Home Services! This was a pleasant experience from Start to finish. I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal voucher for the Duct Cleaning and Dryer Vent Cleaning on Friday February 14th (I had a pretty uneventful Valentine's Day). I ambitiously requested an appointment time of Monday, since I knew I would be off for President's day. Honestly, I did not expect the NICE people to get back to me with confirmation for that date, but the did! Jackie scheduled me for 12-4 on Monday, which was exactly what I wanted. On the day of, Dominick called me at 11:45 to let me know that the team was on their way to my home. Dominick and Nico arrived at 12 on the dot. These guys were true professionals. They were polite, friendly and offered a detailed explanation of what they would be doing while in my home. They were very respectful of the fact that we are in the middle of several home improvement projects and did not disturb our recently refinished stairs or recently painted walls. They wore shoe covers in my home so that they would not leave tracks. They even had to remove a door to get to my dryer vent, and executed that flawlessly. When all was said and done they spent about 3 hours at my house and honestly, I couldn't have asked for better service. Kudos to NICE for having great employees like Nico and Dominick and for providing high quality service to the National Capitol Region.

NICE services confirmed one of my listed dates by email, then called to further confirm the date. The technician arrived in the given time frame and called ahead to notify me he was on his way. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He cleaned the gas fireplace logs and connections and cleaned up completely when he was done. He also notified me of a special program available through my electric company for an energy audit.

He did a phenomenal job. He cleaned and vacuumed everything in the firepalce and cleaned the glass in front of the fireplace, removed the fake log and inspected for carbon monoxide with a meter. He also went the extra mile and took me outside and showed me where the flue opens. Scheduling was fine with them. The price was reasonable and I would used their services again. When he cleaned the glass he used a special cleaner for carbon buildup.

Everything went fine. They were able to come out shortly after I had purchased the big deal. I gave them three options for appointment times so accommodated to me. There was one technician here doing the work and it took about an hour to complete. The results are good.

Right on time, friendly, knowledgeable. Will use the company again.
