With the Deal in the Cart (UV light for my HVAC), I decided to contact the provider 1st in order to answer a couple of questions. I contacted the provider and identified myself as an Angies' list customer. However, I was placed on hold for an exended amount of time when I asked about the number of watts that came with light. Consequently, I ended the call. However, the young lady did call me a few minutes later to aplogize for the extended stay on hold. Thus, the representative while reading a script stated that the UV light/system was not rated by wattage. I also asked if the UV was only to control the mold on the coils or the entire unit...again she began reading from a script or specs, which was extremly evident that she was not familar with. I asked the question again once she completed what she was reading because at that point I was totally confused by her response... I asked again "does the UV light only take care of the coils or the entire unit?" Her answer was a hestitate "no." From there we ended the call. This was a frustrating converstion because I asked to speak to a tech who would be familiar with the Angies' List Deal. However, the represenative only option was to provide information from a what seemed to be a script.....that she was not familar with. It is difficult to answer the question regading whether I would use the service again...I would like to have talked to a tech. Needless to say I emptied my CART.

They did contact me via the message center. We scheduled the appointment and they were on time, however, they were not able to perform this service for me. My hvac was not equipped to handle the service that I purchased. They were professional and informative and I would recommend them to others.

Elizabeth was very helpful in scheduling my appointment, noting that I had to book the gas log cleaning on Angies' List to get the $129 price. She found an opening for two days after I called. Technician Chris did a wonderful job of cleaning the logs, thermocouple and glass doors and replacing the "coals". His cleaning was much more thorough than the company I used last year. Chris re-set the logs in the correct position and they look more attractive now. Chris also told me about good quality carbon monoxide detectors and where they should be installed. It turned out that the reason the pilot went out last season was that the propane tank was empty. Chris said to have it filled and he would come back and finish the job at no extra cost. Chris returned two days after the tank was refilled. He lit the pilot and ensured that the fireplace was working correctly. He checked that it was not emitting carbon monoxide. He left the fireplace area immaculate. Chris did an expert job. He was professional, pleasant, and informative.

Quick and effective. The plumber was great. I was just surprised it cost so much even with a $50 coupon.

Chris was very nice and honest, but company could only service gas fireplaces. We have wood burning. No charges for visit.

I would recommend them. The guy who came over was very professional, very knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He listened to our concerns and our wants. They are easy to work with and offered us the price that we need to pay.

The service turned out okay. They were a little expensive, but it was fine. I purchased a Big Deal for this service. I spent about another $200 above the price of the deal. The service was good, but their price was a little higher than other companies. Their quality was good.

The guy that came out and did it was great. They took all the crap out of there and they showed me all of the stuff. They did a good job and made the house cleaner and that was a good deal for the cost.

The sump pump was not responding and the plumber came over and told me that the sump pump was not installed correctly. He was actually nice and spent a lot of time explaining the sump pump and he also referred some companies that he thought might be able to help us with our basement. They were really nice. It was a 75$ service call and I had nothing. The home warranty company refused to cover anything. He said that he was going to sign me up for a free home energy audit and they brought out at least a 100$ worth of merchandise that comes with the audit. He was extremely nice. He said I am going to sign you for this because at least you can get your 75$ worth.

The service worked out alright. I called them for a inspection and they found out why it was not coming on. My interactions were good enough.

Great; I liked them. They were very knowledgeable- I asked a lot of questions and they were always able to all answer my questions.

I ordered and paid for the service but we were able to correct the issue ourselves. Nice Home Services promptly responded to us to schedule but now their services are not needed. Should the issue occur again, we will use Nice Home Services to correct the problem.

It was great. We appreciated them and we like choosing Angie's List. We used a coupon from Angie's List so that was very good.

I ended up asking for a refund for that. What happened is, before buying the coupon, I called them and I said, "Will this cover new work?" because what I needed was the installment of a new gas insert and they said, "Yes, we will cover everything." So, I went ahead and I got the Angie's List coupon. Then, when I called them for a service, they said that it did not apply to new service. It was completely inexpensive. I was very disappointed when they said that the coupon didn't apply for what I needed them to do since I called them prior, but on the other hand they were very nice and they came out and did the inspection. I had a good experience with them except for being misdirected about buying the coupon. The person that came out and did the inspection was very professional. Overall, I'm happy with the company and I consider calling them for installation in the future, but I haven't done any of that. I just got a really good feeling about them. They seemed very personable. They're very polite.

It was good. I use them all the time. There were no issues at all.

It was okay. It was nothing too hard. There was nothing exceptional. For both situation, they came out and literally found the lose wire that was just sitting there once you open the front panel. They found it and I learned how to open the front panel.

It's fine so far. The quality of service has been very good. They're very responsive. They showed up on time. They're very good about keeping us informed if they're going to be late.

It worked out fine. They are very professional. The gas log guy took some time to explain how to clean it myself if I don't find anybody. He showed me how to remove the screen. The duct cleaning guys were good too. I was satisfied with it. They were punctual. They missed their first appointment and they were very apologetic about it.

I contacted Nice Home Services via Angies List. My husband I saw the price for servicing our fireplace and we immediatley contacted them. I got a phone call from Bill and we scheduled for Thursday, and I got an email confirmation. Then, on Tuesday I got another phone call from another gentleman saying they had a cancellation on Wednesday and asked if i would like the technician to come over on Wednesday. "Of course I said!" I got an email conformation for Wednesday as well. Yesterday, before Steve arrived (our technician) I got 2 email updates before he arrived! He was very professional. Answered all my husbands questions, serviced the fire place, ( which now looks amazing and burns real nice)!! We will use Nice Home Services again!!! It went very well. They were professional and did a great job. The tech was very knowledgeable.

Provider wanted wanted to charge me $600 dollars for a new control module. I asked if I got the module would they install it and they said no. They said they only install their modules. I purchased the module myself for $75.00 and had it installed by an electrician who only charged $125.00. I saved $410.00.

On time and very professional. We had just moved into a rental and the landlord would not service the fireplace. There was an odd smell when it was burning. The gentleman was very thorough and checked inside and out to make sure the fireplace was safe. He he assured us there were no leaks, cleaned the fireplace and replaced the embers. Very satisfied with the service. We enjoyed the fireplace all winter!

It went awesome!!! The man was on time. Very nice and professional. I thought my fireplace was broken. We were expecting several thousand dollars to get it up and running. NOPE! He got it running, and did not try and sell my anything I didn't need. It cost $420 and that included a years worth of service.

They were on time, professional and did a good job. I would highly recommend them to others and have used them again to replace my heating and ac unit. They do very good work.
