Nice Heating & Air

My fireplace could not get re-lit. It can't light the pilot light. I don't think it was their fault because I still haven't got to fix it. They did what I hired them to do. I would recommend them. They were here on time. They left the place clean.

The experience was not great because the fire place does not work and then they recharge me to come back out. It stopped working about a month later and then they charge me a couple hundred bucks to come out and do an assessment on it and did not fix anything. They would not give me a discount to come back out; they charge me the full diagnostic fee. Initially they were good but when it broke, they were not. The cost was nice at first, but when they charge me the full price to come back out, I was not happy.

This was my first time using Nice, and I was very pleased with their service. I made the appointment for a gas fireplace cleaning and inspection. The company called to confirm and the technician called, as I was told he would, before coming to notify me of his estimated arrival time. When Leo got to my home, he was very pleasant and professional. He explained everything he was doing and made recommendations for repairs. Overall, he did a very good job. I would hire Nice Home Services again.

They arrived on time, cleaned up after the job was completed and answered all of my questions.

It went well! The gentleman who came out was very nice. He looked at our fireplace and told us what was wrong. Although I wasn't wild about him trying to sell us things that were more expensive than others online.

The work was performed on time and very professionally. The units looked and worked just fine. The deal was a little expensive compared to other providers on Angies List. I would use them again.

I chose to go with Nice Home Services based on their reviews here in Angie's List. (Our gas logs worked, but not well. The fireplace put out no heat at all, and the pilot light was not adjusted correctly. We'd had another company come out three years earlier who really did not do much with the fireplace, messed up the pilot light, and charged us twice the price.) At any rate, in October, it was difficult to find anyone to work on your gas fireplace. Everyone seemed to be booked up until December. I called Nice Home Services and they were able to have someone come out within a week. Our service technician arrived on time and got to work right away. He cleaned and tuned up our fireplace and checked for gas leaks. He replaced the materials around the logs and correctly adjusted the pilot light. He even told us we would receive a discount on our next service with Nice Home Services. The price I was charged was very reasonable. In the end, our fireplace works better than it ever did before. It actually puts out heat and looks great!

We were having problems starting our gas fireplace. Sometimes it would start sometimes it would not. We called Nice Home Services to come and check it out. We set a day and time to have the technician come out. Mr. Galanos called and said he was on his way and that he would be here in a half hour. He arrived right on time. He asked some questions and then started to find the problem. After checking several parts he diagnosed the problem. Because the fireplace was 20 years old they did not have the part on his truck and said that they would have to order the part. He gave us an estimated time that they would have the part and agreed to come back to install it. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge of gas fireplaces. He explained the problem we were having in terms I could understand and answered all my questions. Mr. Galanos was very professional yet friendly. I would recommend Nice Home Serve to all my friends and family.

Upon purchasing the deal, the provider quickly worked to get the appointment set up and were able to come to our home for installation within a few days. Appointment scheduling went smoothly. The technician showed up in a timely manner and spent a good part of the day installing the unit. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We have had the humidifier for 3 months now and it has definitely made a difference in our home. We were pleased with Nice Home Services and would call upon them in the future for any other needs.

I contacted the company for quote for an installation of a humidifier. Elizabeth, the customer rep, initially stated the company would install a previously purchased unit without warranty, but later tried to force me into purchasing their packaged humidifier/installation deal. When I declined the offer, Elizabeth stated the company could not install a unit unless purchased through them. I really didn't appreciate her manipulating me into purchasing their package and practically lying to me. Oh, well...they just lost future business from me.

It went great, awesome service and very professional. Our fireplace looks clean and is working just fine.

Provider met my tenant on time and provided him with an overview of how to use the unit after performing maintenance. The tenant said the provider was helpful and knowledgable. I would use them again in the future.

The service went very well. One technician came out and completed the job in about an hour and a half. He was knowledgeable and gave some good recommendations. He as very professional and did a really good job. I thought the deal was a good value. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

I turned out fine. I also purchased an annual check up plan. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Arrived in a timely manner. Was professional and paid attention to detail during cleaning and maintenance of the gas fireplace as well as to the area around when he was finished. The fireplace looks great, works and I feel safe knowing there are no leaks!

We purchased a house and moved in over Christmas break. The house has two gas fireplaces - neither of which worked at the time of purchase. We hire NICE home services to service these two fireplaces. The technician was only able to get one fireplace working but not the other. We were a little disappointed but having purchased the online Angie's List coupon we paid only half of what we would have paid, which was nice. I'm not sure it was the technicians fault, since he worked hard at attempting to fix the fireplace. He suggested replacing the entire insert at the cost of $2000, which we weren't prepared to do at this time. I would likely get other quotes before going with NICE services for that replacement.

The technician called to update me on his arrival time which was within the range identified when I set up the appointment. He dismantled and thoroughly cleaned two gas fireplaces making sure to protect the carpet near one of the fireplaces. He checked to see whether each fireplace was working safely and took the time to explain to me how to properly operate the fireplaces. I would definitely recommend this company and would work with them again in the future.

Tech was professional and completed job in timely manner. Propane fireplaces would emit strong smell when turned on prior to cleaning. Fireplaces now emit no noticeable odor since they were cleaned.

Everything was fine. There weren’t any problems scheduling and the work they did was good. They were thorough and they explained things.

Awesomeness! Well, they were on time, professional (covered their shoes even for my dirty house), answered all of my many questions, provided helpful ideas to fix my HVAC issues, and I definitely plan to use them again!
