I asked them to come and set thermostat settings on 3 thermostats. Though they did examine why the heat was not working (gas was cut off). This is a rental property and currently not occupied but the tech asked me to download the manuals for the thermostat and set them myself!!! also was not able to determine that one furnace was electric and the other gas. Paid for the visit but disappointed at his lack of help with the thermostat settings.

I gave a four stars b/c job is not done yet! But first experience with a technician was very friendly and helpful. So I hired them. And I will do final rating when the job is done! Thank you! Happy Holiday!

I found my primary replacement of furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater very good. However, while installing my equipment the trim and ceiling were damaged. They assured me someone would be out to fix it. I have called twice in the past 2 weeks and have not heard from anyone to fix my problem. So, I would not recommend this company at this time.

I have called them at 9am. And been told technician will arrive between 2 and 6. After 2 additional calls I finally got a call around 7 who said he can only come by 9Pm. They have never sent original dispatch. Worth service ever

Great service. It was almost $200 for the call and the only problems was my thermostat was set wrong.

Good professional people with great customer service focus.

They came promptly to my house to try to restore heat. After realizing I needed a new furnace they provided 2 space heaters for me. Workmen were polite, efficient and knowledgeable.

I hired them to diagnose water heater issues. The first tech sent missed an electrical issue and I ended up replacing the heater. The cost to do that on a weekend as an emergency service was not bad. When the replaced water heater still had issues, they dispatched another tech at no additional charge, found the root of the problem, and I was able to get that repaired. I called their office with concerns about the necessity of replacing the heater and they actively worked to address the issue to my satisfaction. I have engaged them for maintenance services for the next two years. I would recommend them, and suggest that you review what was done during any diagnostic service to see if you agree it makes sense before proceeding.

No. We urgently needed to replace our main water line. McCarthy was the only company we contacted. The worst problem was the very unfriendly guy in charge of our job. They were delayed a day getting started, left the job (finished) without letting me know, did not repair lawn as promised and expected full payment before the job was finished. Even though they successfully repaired the leak, we DEFINITELY will not be using them again.

These guys are pros, had great experience working with them.
