The technician was very knowleable and very courteous.

Jim explained the problem well and discussed my options for either repairing the old heat pump or purchasing a new one. He ended up give me the best of both worlds, fixing the heat pump but giving me the option of a discounted purchase on a new heat pump if the heat pump fails again. So far, it's working great!

Replaced my heat pump and air handling system. Reasonable price, no hard sell, the guy that performed the work was a total professional and finished in 1 day. Jim Workman informed me of all the rebates available to me which saved me over $2,000 on the entire job almost cutting the cost in half. Would definitely recommend him and his company (nice small business) to anyone seeking maintenance (he's maintained my 32 year old system previously) or a complete overhaul.

I could not have been more pleased with the whole project. They followed through with everything promised. I did some research on replacing a new HVAC unit prior to signing up with anyone, but Select Heating and Cooling explained every detail and made suggestions to help me make the right decisions. I had an easy time deciding on this company because Jim Workman was very confident about his ability to do the job properly and was a very good listener which helped tremendously on final decisions. Provided a cost effective system at the lowest up front cost. Others had higher front costs, with multiple discounts/rebates. This was the reason for hiring them for the installation of a new Rheem air conditioner and gas furnace. The work was performed on time, with concern for the adverse conditions of steady rain during the placing of the air conditioner unit under our deck - very muddy. During installation of the furnace a crimped copper refrigerant pipe (from the original installation in 1998) was detected and an unexpected repair was performed, without concern for additional work. They were truly professional.

Jim and his team exceeded my expectations. They met my budget requirements and installed the full system in one day instead of the two days as committed. They showed up on time, worked diligently and cleaned up after themselves. They were also very courteous and polite. We will be signing an annual services agreement with them to continue our business relationship. I would highly recommend them as a vendor.

His work was efficient, clean, pricing was significant. I had a a/c and furnace replaced and it was considerably less than I thought it would be.
