Tech did not feel it was a roofing issue and diagnosed a problem in the soffit and recommended a general contractor.

Marshall roofing was great. I called the company on December 31 to request an estimate to repair a roof leak around my chimney. Their office scheduled their visit for the morning of January 6. On January 6, Doug came to my house to inspect the problem. He quickly determined that the problem was a gap in the flue caused by house settling and could easily be repaired through caulking. Doug caulked the hole for free and showed me pictures of everything on his digital camera. The whole experience was very positive, professional and courteous. I will definitely use this company for all my future roofing needs.

Wonderful experience in a sea of bad experiences! Norval, one of Marshall's field supervisors, came out for the repair quote (scheduled 3 weeks in advance), assessed the damage and clearly laid out my options as well as a thorough explanation of what was happening. There was no hint of pressure to spend more than was necessary. Due to a high volume of roof repairs following hurricane Anna they would not be able to get to my job for a minimum of three weeks. However, Norval himself spent nearly an hour making triage-type repairs to keep the leak under control until they could get to our job. A week later the leak started up again and after a quick phone call Norval sprinted back over to make more temporary repairs, this time tarping the area. He was like a detective on the case refining his initial assessment based on leakage patterns and adjusting the job slip. The actual technician came and went without me having any idea that he'd been there (perfectly clean and orderly) and the final bill was extremely close to the estimate (plus about $100 for some rotten sheathing that would have been difficult to see with shingles on). he overall time line was long, but Marshall did everything in their power to make sure that they controlled the problem gratis while the job sat in the queue. I will need a new roof in a few years and there is no question in my mind that I will go through Norval and Marshall. The best always have full schedules- these guys are worth the wait.

They came out and gave us an estimate and they were right on with it. This was a two man crew that was very professional and they also were neat and cleaned up all the debris and took it with them.

I think they are great. When I did what they told me to do, it still wasn't right, so I called them and told them about it. They come out once again and went up on the roof. They told me I missed a spot. Once again, they did not charge me anything. I did the additional repair and everything is fine now.

I was very impressed with them. I used someone that was three thousand less. Had I not gotten a better price I would have used them. They were very cordial, seemed very professional & thorough. They did, what appeared to be, very precise measuring. He just really looked like he knew what he was doing. When I told him that I probably select another company he was very complimentary to them. They did a nice job explaining what they were going to do without cutting down other companies.

Excellent. They were prompt and did exactly what they said they would do. The cleanup was excellent - they even stopped by in person a week later to make sure everything was ok.

I called looking to set up a last minute appointment with a roofing specialist to get an evaluation of some minor irregularities with the roof on a home I am seeking to buy. Calling on a Saturday, I expected an answering machine but was greeted by Troy, the owner. Troy asked a number of questions about the specifics of the roof, and agreed to take a look at it early the following week. He gave me a follow up call in advance of our appointment to get additional information about the roof, and seemed quite knowledgeable about houses in my neighborhood. He came by and looked at the roof, and declared the roof sound for an additional 5-10 years, recommended I save my money. He did not charge me for the estimate and provided me his honest assessment. He was attentive, thorough, punctual and efficient.

They were very professional, they did everything right, they were very nice and they were very good with the estimate, their prices were a little high but I felt that the quality would be worth the price.

I set up an appointment and the representative doing the estimate came a couple days early. Can't really complain about that, so I came home to meet him. He quoted us $250, which was the minimum for a service call. He said he felt bad charging us that much because it was such a simple thing. I shared with him that another company gave me an estimate in the $900 range, so I signed Marshall Roofing up on the spot. I waited to hear from the company to set up a time, but I didn't get a call. When I called them back to come out and complete the work, we got an appointment in a timely manner and the work which was completed on-time.

They were very professional & prompt. They did what they said they would & let me know when they would be here to do the work. I would recommend them to anyone because they are the most professional outfit I have ever worked with.

They were a good company. They came out when they were supposed to & worked hard all day long. They were here for three days & they had to replace a lot more plywood than what was expected. Their price was comparable to other companies we got bids from. They gave options that ended up being necessary that we never got from those other companies. I would use them again.

James came out to give us an estimate about 3 weeks after we first called, but we were told that it would take a while when we initially called. He came out exactly when he said he would. Patiently explained what was wrong. I faxed back the OK and within two weeks, there was an invoice on the front door. The vent collars look good compared to the previous ones, and we were very happy with his work.

We received 3 estimates. Marshall was not the cheapest, but they were in the hunt and they offered the fastest turnaround time for the job. They kept their appointments for providing an estimate, for the detailed measurements and for actually replacing the windows. The work was completed from start to finish in 1 day, and was done almost 6 weeks faster than the competitors were able to promise. The service was superb, customer satisfaction was clearly high on their radar screen and the work was very professionally done.

They came right away and gave me an estimate. They said that the hole was covered sufficiently enough that it wasn't an urgent problem. I am hoping to work with them in the future.
