The estimator was Doug McCleaf. He was very professional. He looked at everything and told us what we did and did not need. We were very pleased with their pricing. We were very thrilled with their honesty. They were neat, there were no nails thrown around. Three people came by the first day and a husband and wife team finished up the next day. I noticed someone smoking and requested there be no smoking and my request was honored. I would absolutely hire them again.

They were excellent. They were efficient and the project got done fairly quickly. They were very nice to work with and did an excellent clean up. The price was just right, and I feel like I got a very good product for the money. I have referred them to several of my neighbors.

Marshall replaced my roof including all of the boards on my townhome. I shopped around and got three estimates and decided to go with Marshall which was right in the middle of the two estimates. My main reason for going with them was their professionalism and pride in their craft. I had two missing collars that my energy auditor had made me aware of. When the Marshall rep came to take a look at the roof and give me an estimate, he put in temporary collars free of charge without me even having to mention it to him which really impressed me. None of the other company's did that. I was also very impressed with the length of their warranty. Would definitely use them in the future.

I was pretty certain I needed a new roof to replace the layover that was installed on my townhouse about 15 years ago. I called Marshall because of the outstanding reputation it has among all Angie's List roofing companies. In fact I decided beforehand that given this company's reputation, I would go with whatever the company suggested and at whatever price. So, about a week after I contacted the company, the company rep came out and introduced himself and asked for permission to inspect the roof. He did just that. He walked around the house first looking at the roof from the ground. He then climbed on top of the roof and inspected it. He then came into the house and crawled up into my attic and inspected the roof from the inside. He then came back to me and said that I did not need a new roof at this time, that my current roof should offer adequate protection for a number of years yet. Wow! What a surprise! Here I am, ready to spend as much money as this man tells me I need to spend, and he tells me I do not need to spend any. Is that integrity and professionalism or what? Then, to top it off, the Marshall Co. rep offered to prepare an estimate of what it will cost to replace the roof some years down the line, in order to help me plan for that day. When I received the estimate, it was for a price much lower than I would have expected. For me, Marshall Roofing Inc. is it. It will be a distinct pleasure to do business with this company any time I get the chance to do so. .

I had an estimate done first for some minor leaks in my townhouse roof. Marshall provided the lowest price out of the two quotes I received. I was REALLY impressed with the gentleman that provided the estimate (Mike), as he was professional and answered all of my questions. I scheduled a time for the work to be done. They came out, did the work and mailed an invoice to me the next day. Just so happened that we had a hard rain two days later and I noticed I still had some water leaking into the house. I called Marshall the next day to let them know and they said they would take care of it. A few days later (when the weather cleared), I received another note in the mail about the work that was done on the second visit (at no-charge). I have not had any leaks since then. Only "glitch" in the whole process was that I had to call them a second time to confirm the first visit.

The estimate went well until I asked the contractor to extend the downspouts a few feet from the house at each downspout location and he said they don't do that, that my husband and I could go to Home Depot or another hardware store and put extensions on ourselves after they performed the work. That was a huge downer for me as they seemed like a great company using seemless gutters and I wanted there to be a seamless transition from downspout to downspout extenstion that they should provide, but I know my husband could not make the unit seamless. Every other company who came out for estimates said yes they surely would include extensions in the estimate and do that work themselves if they won the bid. This was a disappointment to Marshall and why we did not choose them for the work.

Could not have gone better. I e-mailed the company on a Saturday night; had a reply early Monday morning. Estimate was clear, concise. Service was prompt.

The experience overall was great. There was some miscommunication in the beginning with my appointment for an estimate. I had called and set up an appointment but on the scheduled day no one showed up and when I called they told me that I was not on their schedule or calendar. Lisa quickly checked the calendar and called back within 15 min. to reschedule and apologized for the miscommunication. James, the estimator, came during the scheduled window of time and gave me detailed report of what needed to be done. I was scheduled for work to be done the next week and someone actually came 2 days earlier than scheduled. Thomas came and repaired the items that were on the estimate but my husband had also wanted them to take down 2 satellite dishes and repair the shingles under them but I had forgotten to call before the work was to be done but when I called on the day of the work the original estimator, James, stopped by the house in the afternoon and did the additional work. Staff was professional and service was great.

Called for an estimate - very polite office staff. James was able to come out a few days later. He listened to my concerns about the condition of the trim that had not come loose in the storm, and included the inspection/renailing in his estimate. James returned to do the work less than a week after I accepted the estimate, which was great considering the unpredictable weather. He arrived on time, was done in 2 hours, matched the existing trim perfectly, and cleaned up after himself spotlessly. He even helped me get my car started! (Unknown to me, my car battery was dying). Without his help, I would have been late to work. He followed up with a note a few days later to make sure everything was fine.

Marshall Roofing is one of the most honest businesses I have dealt with regarding home repairs and maintenance. The inspector was knowledgeable and did not try to get me to purchase unnecessary services. I h ave used this company twice now an they have always responded in a timely manner and done a top nothc job.

Not the cheapest, but gave the highest level of confidence that the job would be done right and properly. Estimate process went well, with rep on time, thorough and professional. While measuring the roof, rep told me my chimney cap was loose. I asked about a recommendation, and he provided the name of a mason he recently used and did good work. Signed the contract a few days later. Installation began on schedule, finished on schedule. Did a great clean up job. New roof looks great!

They were excellent. I'd had 2 other companies quote this job as well. He showed up nicely dressed in a clean pick up and had lots of information about his business.. I thought I was gonna get a big sales pitch with too many bells and whistles but as I listened to him it was clear he really knew what he was doing. I hired him. The weather gave us a bit of a challenge with our scheduling but when they did schedule and arrive they worked 1 1/2 days and worked dilligently. The guys that did the work clearly had been doing this work for quite some time. They were efficient and knowledgable. If I asked for special requirements (as I knew a bit about this work) they did it, and did it right. They were definatley skilled in their field and very easy to work with.

They came and fixed everything and then billed me. When I had more shingles blow away a few weeks later, they came back and did the service again.

Great service even though it was a small job.

A great experience! Very professional and honest, 2 other companies recommended that I replace the entire roof to correct problem. Marshall roofing identified the problem and corrected the issues with my roof without having to replace the whole thing. Overall I paid maybe 20% as compared to the over roofing companies estimates.

Other than a few days delay, which we were well informed of, the job was completed as promised. This is the second time we have used Marshall Roofing and we are very pleased with quality of their work and everyone at Marshall Roofing is courteous and helpful. Cost came in exactly as proposed.

Based upon the reports I read on Angie s List, I scheduled an appointment with Marshall s roofing to come and give me an estimate of damage due to roofing tile being blown off by high winds. The appointment was made on 1/14/2009 and the estimate was to take place on 1/30/2009. However, no one came during the window of time I was told they would be at my home and when I call to inquire about the problem, I discovered that there was no record of my appointment entered into the computer and they apologized and ask me if I wanted to reschedule and I agreed to another day and time. I spoke with the manager and he informed me that the earlier problem was due a computer problem where several names were lost and not on the hard drive. They were not only concerned about this problem they are doing everything possible to correct it. I appreciate them taking time to explain the problem and to work with me to resolve my problem. When I rescheduled the appointment, the work was performed on time and I am satisfied with the job. I am happy to report that they are truly a professional company with a genuine desire to please their customers. All in all, I recommend this company and rate them highly for their professionalism and workmanship.

I received several estimates with Marshalls in the middle. The lead time for most was 4-6 weeks. While I was waiting for the repair, we had discovered squirrels getting into the attic. Marshalls came the next day to make a repair closing the hole. I was very pleased with the quickness to reolve that issue.

They did an excellent job. Their service is excellent. They were very professional. They stayed in contact with me involving installation times. They had a very professional crew. They showed up on time and did a great job cleaning up all of the debris. They did not have high pressure sales techniques. They were the best value combination out of eight companies. I reviewed.

Once contact made with their representative, the representative provided very professional, timely advice and job estimate. He maintained close contact with me once the contract was received to keep me apprised of the work schedule and the manner in which it would be done. The work was done in a very timely, neat and effective manner by very courteous workmen. It was quite a pleasant experience. Would use the firm again and recommend them highly.

Their responsiveness was excellent! Their work quality was excellent and their professionalism was great! Their price was very fair, lower than most. You can find cheaper but you have to compromise some other factor in terms of responsiveness, professionalism, cleanliness, etc.

They were punctual and came when they said they would. They completed the job efficiently. I haven't had any problems ever since. I would hire them again.
