Marshall Roofing Siding and Windows

I used them because they came and gave me an estimate and followed through. They were polite. The came and did a good job. They cleaned up after the work was completed. Everything appears fine now. I would use their service in the future.

It took them a while to get everything done (over 3 months). The roof looks beautiful and the gutters and siding seem fine. Everyone we came in contact with was professional.

They completely replaced the siding on our house all four sides as well as the garage. They put in new shingles on the roof, new gutters and installed two windows for us in the garage. We picked this company mainly because they appeared on top of Angies List. They did what they said they would do. They were timely and cleaned up well. They were willing to work with us to get what we wanted. Out insurance company was pushing us to go in for aluminum siding and we wanted vinyl and they were helpful in helping us make sure that the job was done right. The insurance company wanted us to do only two sides of the house and the problem is that the existing siding was twenty years old so you would have a weird situation where half the house looked new and the other half looked old. So we went with complete vinyl around. We had to kind of beg for the bill, which I thought, was a little weird. When you do $20,000 worth of work it is like the employer begging to pay the employees. It was very strange. It was odd that I had to beg for the invoice.

Marshall was the most responsive and prompt of the three roofing companies we called. Since we have an HOA, we are restricted to certain types and colors of roofs and they were extremely helpful guiding us to the correct range of choices. In addition, we were curious about various types of venting and they were knowledgeable and helpful about that--we were able to have them install the type of venting we needed. Also, our gutters were pulling away from the roof and we thought new ones would have to be installed, but they were able to reattach the existing ones, which we really appreciated. They were extremely easy to get ahold of when we had any questions and the process for arranging the roofing job was seamless. They gave us a window, contingent on the weather, and were very good about following up to let us know as the date approached, if it might change. They did everything just as promised, and they were polite, prompt, efficient, and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves, had the right number of people for the job, and the roof looks great. All in all, they were superb, and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering getting their roof repaired or replaced.

Everything went fine and it was a very good service. The price was adequate for what they did and they were knowledgeable. It was a very high quality company.

Marshall's did an outstanding job and were a pleasure to work with. The owner as well as both crews were very professional and had great attitudes. They also did a great job concerning a couple of unique issues related to exterior lights and areas at the bottom of some sliding doors at the deck level. The crew ensured all areas were cleaned up at the end of each day. A very postive experience. I would recommend Marshalls highly to prospective customers. Marshalls is Top Notch!!

I am waiting to hear back from them about the scheduling. My interaction with them has been fine so far. I got a quote from them for $2500. They are very professional. They right upfront without me asking provided me like a binder kind of handout with their insurance information which I thought was very professional. I did not have to ask for it or anything. I tried another bid and they seem to be competitive. They were responsive. They came right out to do the estimate. It was my doing that took so long to get back to them to make a decision. They came exactly when they said they were going to come. They called me an hour before they were coming. I knew kind of when they were coming but they even made it a little more time specific so that I could take out the minimum amount of time on the work. I am going to wait and see how they work.

We had been having some trouble with some small leaks in our roof, so I called Marshall Roofing for an estimate. They were very accommodating, even when I had to reschedule the estimate at the last minute due to an emergency. Norval came out the next week to do the estimate, and he was very thorough-checking first the attic and the roof from the inside, and then inspected the roof itself. I thought the estimate seemed fair & scheduled to have the work done in a couple of weeks. I didn't have to be home, which was convenient, and everything appears to have been done to satisfaction. Norval was very polite & professional.

Norval actually showed up an hour earlier than the window I was quoted, but we caught each other in the driveway and that meant I could get on with the rest of my day sooner. I showed him the water damage inside and he immediately went up to the roof to find the leak. He inspected my whole roof and informed me about some additional spots that had the same issue that I was unaware of (small holes in the roof resulting from vinyl siding installation) and then set to work sealing up the holes. He explained what I would need to do to fix the water damage indoors, which is only cosmetic and would not require professional repair. He was polite and efficient and was done in no time. I am thrilled with the speed and price and am happy to know that my drywall is still sound and that I can fix the cosmetic issue on my own, which I consider an added value. Marshall wasn't able to send someone out until about a week and a half after I called to schedule, but that was much sooner than other roofing companies I checked with, and now that I have experienced their level of service, I would not hesitate to use Marshall again!

It went very well. They are very responsive. The job started and finished before and after some of the really big snowstorms last year, so we had some delays, but it wasn't their fault. They were good about scheduling and rescheduling when we had to. The work turned out great. We have called them back twice for potential problems, but they sent somebody out to deal with it right away. I think we could have found a cheaper price, but they did good quality work.

They were very professional and did an excellent job. Their estimate was lower than that of other people we spoke to. The estimator came back and made sure that everything was going all right. They were very helpful in assisting me choose the colored shingles and the gutters that would look nice with my siding. I am happy and would recommend them.

I called and set up an appointment for someone to come look at the gutter. I had an appointment very quickly (1-2 days after my initial phone call). They would have sent someone the same day, but it was too windy for their men to go up on ladders that high. Their man called that afternoon to see if he could come by early since he was close by and I said OK. He showed up exactly when he said he would. He was polite and professional and obviously knew what he was doing. He took a look at the gutter, figured out the problem and had it fixed in about 10 minutes. I also asked him if he would take a look at the roof while he was up there. He told me there would be a minimum charge of $250 for him to get up on the roof and I said "No problem, if you are going up there I'll pay it because there is no way I am!" He took a look around on the roof and pulled some hardened lint out of our dryer vent that we didn't know was there. I was very happy he did that because I am sure it was a fire risk. It was well worth the $250. I have tried to have this gutter fixed for at least a year. I had gone through a handyman service before and they never had the right sized ladder. I am sure they would not have been able to do a professional job like Marshall Roofing. If I have any problems with roofing, siding or windows in the future they will be #1 on my list to call.

Though this company gave me an estimate they actually told me that I don't need a new roofing. This was good to hear. They were very professional and the gentleman explained the details about roofs. He did not give a quote but he went up and looked at the roof and while on the attic he explained that I needed something done with the insulation. I thought he was very thorough. I had to wait a month in order to get them. However they came when they said they would come. I would use them in the future.

Work was competently and professionally completed over two days, albeit with numerous breaks perhaps because of the hard work involved in removing two layers of shingle. Original estimate was done on Dec 7, 2010 with estimator indicating on estimate that work would be completed in two to four weeks. Work was not completed until nine weeks later despite calls to office requesting priority scheduling given likely winter snow melt. There seemed to be no flexibility in schedule.

We had leaks from our roof and thought we had shingle problems in two areas. Marshall came out when they said they would, found only one shingle problem, and told us that the second problem was caulking (not missing or broken shingles). They fixed the shingles and then they wen't on to caulk the second area "because we're already here", at no cost. Great customer service, great work, and bottom line is that they have integrity instead of trying to gouge us. I'll definately be calling them again when we need more work done.

The representative showed up on time and explained that, while he would love to sell us a new roof, we really wouldn't need one for 5-7 years. He explained what we needed to do to make some minor repairs and gave us a fair estimate for that.

The estimator, Michael Sullivan, Jr., showed up exactly on time. He seemed upset when he arrived. He gave us what I think was an honest assessment of our roof problems. The issue is that his attitude was unprofessional and demeaning bordering on down right obnoxious. His answers to my questions were flippant. He made every effort to make us feel stupid. His overall attitude was that we were wasting his time. By his own estimate we will need a completely new roof in 5-6 years instead of the relatively minor repairs we need now. I know for sure I will not call Marshall back for that job.

They came in about $3000 under estimate upon completion. They were extremely professional and I haven't had a problem since. It's been a year since the job was done and I'm still very pleased.

They were always here when they said they would be here. The estimator was courteous, and checked back with me on the job. The workers didn't speak much English, but were courteous and efficient. They cleaned up the job well. I am very pleased with the look of the new roof, and, though I haven't been up there, it seems to be a good job. They replaced 2 skylights, and these are tightly sealed with no leaks.

Everything went fine -- it was a two-day job. I chose Marshall as they were the least expensive bid (I received 3 in total ) but they also provided me with the best quality materials for that price. The salesman and staff were always helpful in answering my questions.

They were very prompt in coming over and giving me an estimate. They showed up on time; I think he even showed up a little early. They did the work and there was no disruption whatsoever. They only wanted payment after I was fully satisfied that the work had been done properly.
