Doug, the estimator, was very helpful and courteous. He provided a detailed assessment of the roof's condition, and did not overstate the nature of the situation, which allowed us to wait a few months before having the work done. Doug also had good ideas for color choices with the shingles. The roofing crew did a very good job, explaining where the decking needed to be replaced and doing an excellent job with the installation and cleanup. Jason, the carpenter who installed the skylight, also did an excellent job with the installation, drywall, painting, and clean-up. Both jobs enhanced the house and we are very pleased with the outcome. Communication with the office and on-site crews was good. The new roof was tested with heavy rains a couple of days later. Not a leak to be found!

First, I was impressed by the honesty and integrity Chris, who came out and provided the estimate. He did not push to have more work done on the roof than needed repairing. Getting a work date during rainy May was tricky, but the office let me know right away if there was going to be a rain delay. The team that replaced my roof were punctual, professional and did a top notch job. I'm new at home maintenance and repair and the whole team at Marshall Roofing were respectful and patient with all my questions. They seemed genuinely proud of their company.

We contacted Marshalls around mid-March to replace two skylights which had started leaking. They were very prompt (like 1 day) in returning our call and coming out to look at our problem. On March 11th Chris inspected the lights and told us they were cracked at the top. He gave us two estimates, one to simply replaced the skylights ($900) and another to replace the roofing section around the lights (another $900). Chris said the second wasn't really needed as the roof seem to have been replaced (which it was about 10 years ago). At the time we redid our roof the company we had hired wanted $1000 each to replace the skylights which we didn't do. Perhaps the costs of skylights have come down or the other company simply didn't want to do it. I felt Marshalls was giving us a reasonable price. Marshalls called us back to set up an installation appointment for the end of April-during a planned vacation. While this would have been a LONG time if we had a severe leak, our problem was just a minor leak when snow sat on the roof. Rain seldom (perhaps never) came in. We were not too concerned about a 45 day wait although this might have been a problem if it was a severe leak. Then again, Marshalls might have expedited our order. My wife rescheduled the appointment for May 1st. On May 1st Marshall called at about 3:30 and said they be out the next day. We were a little disappointed but we had severe rains during this time and suspected they might have fallen behind in their schedule. They said they normally don't give specific days since the weather is unpredictable. This didn't make much sense and we wished they had called earlier in the day. Yet I can't downgrade them on this as we really did expect delays in installations. Chris was very prompt in coming out the first thing on May 2nd and had the skylights installed in under 2 hours. He was very professional and courteous. Once completed he showed me the old skylights and the problems with them. They had severely discolored and the tops were completely broken as plastic normally turns brittle after sitting outside for 25 years. I can now see the sky! I would not hesitate to use Marshalls again. They did a great job for a fair price and I feel they lived up to expectations.

Highly professional organization. Their senior estimator was exceptionally thorough in his assessment (compared to other roofing companies) pointing out a variety of concerns and factors to consider. They worked quickly and efficiently producing excellent quality results. We would definitely call on them again and have already referred them to our neighbors.

We had contracted with Marshall Roofing for a new roof and the siding was an outgrowth of additional work that needed to be done on our house. The senior roof estimator as well as their siding specialist came to inspect the existing siding and provided a cost estimate predominantly based on cost per panel of T1-11 since we had asked that any salvageable siding not be replaced. The result was that the estimated maximum number of panels needed replacing and we believe that to be accurate. I cannot speak to the pricing of the entire job since we did not get other estimates; however, I do believe it to be fair. The quality of the work was excellent. We had to be away for the weekend but trusted the integrity of this company. Several neighbors commented how the workers worked hard and fast. Several of them requested contact info for Marshall because they were so impressed. I would definitely call on them again in the future.

Everyone at Marshall's roofing was very professional and kept me in informed while working on our roof. They also followed up with a courtesy call to see how the in the installation went. I was very satisfied and will use Marshall's roofing again if needed.

They did a wonderful job. Showed up when they said they would. They were cheaper than what was quoted and would recommend to anyone.

They were wonderful. He said that I didn't need anything and the roof didn't need repair. I had three things that I wanted them to look at because we had a leak in the upstairs bathroom and he said he couldn't see anything up there. Then we had talked to them because I wanted to know about putting in a fan that takes out the heat and he didn't think we needed that either. I am very impressed at this point but if we get a leak on the same spot through the rainy season then I won't be as impressed. He didn't find it and he said he looked and crawled all over the roof. He gave me some advice about the attic and he didn't think the fan would help and that the gutters were clean. He can talk himself out of any kind of work so I felt bad about that. He's a very nice young man and I got the sense that he was very thorough. They were very responsive. He explained to me why he wasn't recommending anything and why he wouldn'd recommend the fan but he always gave me other alternatives. I would recommend them to my neighbors.

The service provider had previously did some work (January 2014) on decorative trim that had worked free from the house. He did a nice job inspecting, reattaching, replacing the aluminum siding cover and the small pieces of shingle on top. He also inspected the asphalt shingle roofs and the metal roof on the house. He found the shingle roof was in good shape, but the metal roof coating might be flaking and in need of a new coating in the next several months. When he returned in April, he found the repair needed to the gutter was minor and he did a good repair on the spot. He got up on the aluminum roof, walked it from end to end, checking surface and seams. He found that the coating was in good shape, what he thought was flaking in the dim dusk light in January was actually footprints from the last time the roof was recoated. No work was needed. He also gave me a lot of interesting information on roofing. I found him very competent and honest and would definitely use his company again and recommend it highly.

The overall job took a bit longer than anticipated due to weather. Beyond that it was a very efficient and professional operation. Kudos to both Jeremy Ervin and Matt Marshall as well as the entire Marshall roofing team lead by Lucio. I'm 100% satisfied and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend their services.

The person on the phone was very helpful and set the appointment for a gutter specialist. At the time it was not clear if there was roof damage. The company rep. would let us know Friday if there was more than gutter damage and needed someone with roof skills too. Someone with roofing & gutter assessment skills was not available until a week later anyway. So I was home all morning until 2pm. No one came by and no one called.

Because of all the rain and snow this winter, almost two months passed between contracting to have the roof replaced and actually having it replaced. The work took two-and-a-half days, with the crew cleaning up at the end of each day. The quality of the work is very good, the price was competitive to other estimates, and when they left there was virtually no sign they'd been here other than a new roof. Overall very happy. Also used Marshall several months earlier to replace siding with HardiePlank, and that was a very good experience, as well.

We had two appointments and both went very well. For the first, I needed to be home to show the Marshall Roofing Technician where the problem was -- for the second, I was able to remain at work while they worked on the roof. The work was exctremely well done, and we would use them again in a heartbeat.

I have used Marshall Roofing for several years. Chris Butler, one of the VPs is my point of contact. I find him to be professional and responsive. I wouldn't use any other roofing company.

I was very impressed by Marshall's Roofing. They were always punctual - both at the time of the estimate, and when the work was performed. Their price was in line with other estimates I received, but I felt the quality of their materials was superior. Most impressive to me was the communication that I received. I was notified when they expected to come do the work, and when they were delayed by weather, I was informed immediately and an alternate date given. At one point there was a question about the color of some of the repair hardware, and rather than just "go ahead", work was halted until I could be reached and my approval obtained. I have already recommended Marshall's to a friend and will certainly remember them for future needs.
