Description of Work: We had an electrical panel replaced and lighting installed. They were timely, followed through on their commitments, and kept us informed throughout the process.

Description of Work: Ameliorated fire hazard risk from aluminum wiring according to CPSC standards. | |Used ALUMICOM (sp?) process. It is much cheaper than COPALUM, which would have been almost $12,000. | |The only place the CPSC online site tells you that ALUMICOM is fine to use rather than COPALUM, is a single letter in its files. The letter's intent (from 2011) has not been worked into the regs. | |If we hadn't researched this, the one company who still does COPALUM in our area, did not even broach the subject of the much cheaper fix. | |The company who does COPALUM in our area has a monopoly, giving them an appearance of conflict of interest.

Description of Work: the repairman came quickly, told us that what we wanted was easy then we never heard from him again. I kept calling the company & they finally got us a cost estimate from the repairman - the cost was so costly it was ridiculous. AND this was for an easy job , i can't imagine what it would cost if it were difficult!

Description of Work: Installed a new ceiling fan after removing the existing ceiling light and placed the new ceiling fan with light in a new location. Kolb electrician completed the job in about 1.5 hours. Pleasant, performed job exactly as assigned.

Description of Work: They installed new lighting in bathroom. They are completing the electrical work in our bathroom remodel. The project still in progress, but things have gone well so far.

Description of Work: Repaired old, rusted, corroded metal wires, replacing them with new wires. Prompt and thorough. Would recommend them, and would use them again. I think it's the 3rd time I've hired Kolb for electrical work on my house.
