When they left, the fans were not exhausting anything. They had to come back and when I still was having problems, they never came back again. They were a big hassle and I wouldn t recommend them to others and I would warn people against them.

They were recommended to me by a heating and cooling company. I am intending to hire them to complete the electrical system upgrade. During the visit, they were prompt and thorough with their work. With the estimate, they gave it to me the next day. When it came to the installation of the electric line, they came within a couple of days of me contacting them.

Workers showed up 20 minutes late. Left gaping holes in ceiling after installing fixtures. Workmanship shoddy. Kept shaking me down for more money for parts, would disappear for an hour, kept hinting he gets tips, terrible experience.

Kolb Electric was great. The fan was replacing a light fixture that had been secured to an old gas pipe for a gas light fixture. Tony helped me trouble shoot the problem over the phone and, after I was not able to find a correct mounting bracket at a home store, offered to send the tech out to find the right part. The tech was able to find a mounting bracket in his truck that would secure to the old pipe. He took his time and installed the fan correctly. It looks great, runs perfectly and I am very pleased. I would use them again!

This experience started off with the receipt of an abrupt phone call stating if we didn't call back in 5 minutes our appointment would be cancelled. When we sorted this out, i.e. they had the wrong appointment time down, the caller apologized and we were back on track. The electrician at the house was good, but he balked at doing the work and then taking credit card as a form of payment.

First, someone came to do an estimate and never got back to me. I was told this man had been fired so I continued working with them because I had heard good things and this was ''one'' bad employee. Over my objection, the electrician who did the work short-wired the fixtures so that they would work temporarily while he ordered new one. He never ordered them. When I followed up twice, I was finally told to go to Home Depot and get them myself but the supervisor never got back to me with model numbers or enough details for me to actually go and buy them without disconnecting one myself to take it with me! In the meantime, these fixtures were a potential fire hazzard. I had to have another electrician do the work to get it right. I will NEVER use this company again and you shouldn't either.

The electrician was prompt, polite, but not communicative enough. He decided on his own to put the line through a different wall (than the one decided on by the estimator) and ended up drilling through a water pipe. To repair the pipe, a piece of roof needed to be torn up. The plumbing and roofing bills exceeded the electrical bill. The supervisor who came quickly to survey the damage was excellent and agreed to pay for repairs without getting multiple estimates. They were very fair.

Terrible. Made an appointment several days ahead for a technician to come out later that week. We were told they would call 30 minutes in advance. When they hadn't called or showed up on time, we started calling the store, but were dumped to voice mail for 30 minutes and unable to get anyone on the line. We finally managed to get somebody after dialing around to another office. The technician still wasn't available to come out, and we probably would have sat another hour. There are a lot of electricians in town. Don't waste your time on this one.

They were the cheapest estimate I received. They were on-time for both appointments. They suggested a cheaper alternative to the cabling then I requested. The electrician spent 30 minutes describing how to properly operate the transfer switch. He helped set up a transfer switch test with me. He explained the procedure to me while he was installing the system. I learned a lot.

My experience was much less painful than I expected. The sales rep. arrived promptly and gave me a quote on site. He immediately booked my work for the dates I requested. The electricians arrived right on time. The job was scheduled for two days, but the electricians handled practically everything on the first day with minimal work to be done on the second. Everyone from the receptionist to the sales rep. to both installers were courteous and conscientious. The electricians made certain my house remained as clean as when they arrived...and they were careful not to let any of my five indoor cats out. I will definitely call Kolb for any future work.

Hard to get estimator to come at a convenient time; electrician was late, went home sick, didn't call to advise he wasn't coming when he promised; hard to make contact with company regarding electrician not showing up; had to reschedule job. Electrician showed up 1 1/2 hours late, worked only basic contract, refused to do additional work as agreed on in contract. Job only took less than three hours instead of 6 hours estimator predicted. Had to stop check to get company to call me back. They now promise to complete job, and adjust cost. Electrician stole a box of cookies out of cabinet where circuit breaker box was located.

EXCELLENT. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND DID ALL REPAIR WORK AS EXPECTED. THE TECHNICIAN SHOWED MY HUSBAND WHAT HE WAS DOING AS HE WORKED ON THE JOB AND EVEN GAVE US HIS DIRECT CELL PHONE NUMBER IF WE HAD ANY QUESTIONS OR IF anything WENT WRONG.

THIS SERVICE WAS GREAT. MY DOORBELL WAS WORKING AGAIN IN NO TIME. EVERYONE WITH THIS COMPANY IS SO POLITE AND FRIENDLY. THEY ARE VERY GOOD WITH GETTING TO ME WHEN I NEED THEM.

I WOULD DEFINITELY USE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND KOLB ELECTRIC. THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB AND I WAS MORE THAN JUST SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. I WOULD ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

WE WERE SUPER PLEASED WITH KOLB! THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY WERE NEAT, CLEAN AND GOT THE JOB DONE SUPERBLY! WE WERE INTRIGUED BY ALL THEIR YELLOW TRUCKS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND DECIDED TO GIVE THEM A CALL. SO GLAD WE DID!

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE WORKER WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DO GOOD QUALITY WORK AND YOU ALWAYS GET MORE THAN WHAT YOU EXPECT FROM THEM. THIS WAS MY THIRD TIME USING THEM AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

KOLB STAFF WAS VERY POLITE AND RESPONSIVE ON THE TELEPHONE. I RECEIVED A SERVICE DATE WITHIN JUST A FEW DAYS. THE ELECTRICIAN DID ARRIVE AN HOUR PAST THE SERVICE WINDOW BUT CALLED TO LET ME KNOW HE WOULD BE LATE. THE ELECTRICIAN WAS COURTEOUS AND PERFORMED THE WORK SATISFACTORILY.

THEY HANDLED A TOUGH SMALL JOB VERY WELL. THIS COMPANY DOES NICE WORK, REASONABLY PRICED, COMES ON TIME, CLEANS UP. GENERALLY A VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY.

WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE WORK PERFORMED BY KOLB ELECTRIC. THE CEILING FAN WAS INSTALLED QUICKLY AND EFFECTIVELY. THE TECHNICIAN ALSO DID A GREAT JOB WITH OUR STOVE. HE WAS PREPARED WITH MATERIALS HE DIDN'T KNOW HE WOULD NEED AND WAS VERY METICULOUS ABOUT CLEANING UP. THE PHONE REPRESENTATIVE WHO SET MY APPOINTMENT WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. THE COMPANY WAS ALSO ABLE TO OFFER US SAME-DAY SERVICE.

ELECTRICIAN CAME SAME DAY AS CALLED. PLUMBER WAS NOT ABLE TO INSTALL FIXTURE BECAUSE NEW OUTLET WAS REQUIRED. I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY IN THE PAST WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS.
