They had a good reputation on Angie's List. They were able to come out very quickly and they took the carpet. They were done with the carpet sooner than expected and were able to deliver it back to us. They were very professional and there bill price was the same as what they quoted.

Steve was fantastic!! I called him on Monday and he scheduled me for the next day. He texted me to let me know he would be arriving right on time at 10 AM and sure enough he was at my door with business card in hand at our scheduled time. Steve came and assessed the master bedroom and told me he wasn't sure the pet stains I had him working on would come out. I appreciated his honest assessment but told him to give it a shot anyway. Steve worked for well over an hour and not only cleaned my master bedroom but also cleaned the open areas in two other bedrooms, the hallway, and the stairs and landings!!! He turned fans on to help speed drying time and I couldn't be happier with the quality of his work. I will definitely use Kingstowne Carpet again in the future.

They did an excellent job. The rugs turned out great. I have used another provider in the past and they did a better job. I was pleased with every aspect of the service.

Steve quoted me a price via email after I'd described my home, and we scheduled the appointment in the same exchange. He called the morning of the appointment to advise he was running on time. When he arrived, he showed me exactly what he planned to do and set right to work. Throughout, he was friendly, professional, thorough and answered all my questions. He put down all the carpet protectors under the heavy furniture and advised how long to leave them in place as well as how long to keep the lighter wooden pieces off the carpet. All the basic information to avoid a disaster later. Bottom line, Steve does terrific work, and I felt entirely comfortable with him in my home. I'd absolutely recommend his company.

It all went fine. I was impressed by his keeping me informed of his pickup delivery times. In this day and age of waiting around for service professionals to show up, Steve was as good as his word. When he was running late, he texted me to say he was behind schedule. Little things like that go a long way in customer relations.

It was really a bargain. I would definitely recommend them. They came within a few days of purchasing the big deal and picked it up. The person who picked up/delivered was very nice. They were punctual and professional. It was a bargain for 2 9x10' area rugs. They delivered back on the 20th.

not only did the company do a good job of cleaning, but the follow up was phenomenal as well. Once the carpet cleaning was done, the house was closed up for a few days before the painters came in. The tenant owned three dogs, one of whom was a great Dane. These dogs can leave smelly residue even in cleaned carpets. Even though I live across the country, once I was notified of the smell, I decided to call the carpet cleaner. It was a Friday, and about 8 PM eastern time, so I assumed that I'd be leaving a message. However, the owner answered the phone and agreed he would try to help. And he did! In the next two weeks, he went by the house twice and put down additional "smell eliminator" and got rid of the wet dog smell. As a result, I was able to have an open house and sell the house within two weeks of that open house. This company goes out of their way to do the best possible job. And the most amazing thing...there was no additional cost to me! This company deserves the best possible rating.

We've used Steve twice recently and feel completely impressed with his work and communication. Shows up when he says he will and estimates are accurate.

I called and e-mailed Kingstowne Carpet and emphasized the need to have the carpet taken care of because it was soaked by the rain, and the weather was hot so there was no where to properly dry it. They acknowledged receipt via e-mail and followed up with a phone call with a couple of hours. The rug was picked up shortly thereafter and it looks great - they took care of it right away and returned it within a week. A great experience overall - highly recommended.

I waited till the very end of the deal to schedule and the provider couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. I offered to bring the rugs in but he insisted on picking them up, which he did promptly and at the agreed upon time ( I liked the fact I didn't have to be at home for pick-up or drop-off). I don't know what the price of the service would have been outside the deal, but the deal price was very good. The new 4 x 6 Tufkenian looked ok when I returned it to the floor next to my bed; the other is used in a foyer and unfortunately it looked like nothing had been done to it. I have had this rug cleaned once before so, although it's in a high traffic area, I had expectations that it would look better. I did not contact the provider or ask for any additional service, as I immediately managed to spill hot chocolate on the rug! I'm quite certain I should have and that he would have done anything he could to at least explain the situation but for whatever reasons, I chose not to at the time. I also chose not to write the review because he was so pleasant to deal with. However, I know the purpose of Angie's List is to help others by giving honest feedback and I've been prompted so much this past year, I'm finally doing so.

I answered the Angie's List Storefront ad for a carpet cleaning special by Kingstowne Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning. My carpet was picked up as arranged, cleaned to satisfaction and returned to my home just as discussed in the initial call. The person picking up and delivering my carpet was extremely polite and efficient.

Steve Miller is very polite, responsive, and communicative. He follows up as he says he will. He cleaned and returned our rugs in a week. We are very pleased with how they came out and would use him again. He also explained that we might not always have to have the rugs taken away; that it is sometimes possible to clean them in home without doing any damage to the wood floors below.

Delightful company to work with! Punctual, friendly, good humored and hard working. Gave extra attention to crevices and other places on furniture not usually seen. Even cleaned the throw pillows on couch and chairs. Took just over two hours and will need some time for the furniture to dry thoroughly, but all will be wonderful when allergy-prone relative comes to visit this weekend! So glad I found them!

It was very hard to reach him for the pickup service. The rugs were clean but the service just took too long.

They were wonderful! These came back beautifully clean and vibrant. He even held them for us until the construction project was over, so that they wouldn't get dirty again. He gave great advice and rearranged the room when bringing the carpet back, which we really appreciated! He did top quality customer service!

All spots/stains were removed to my satisfaction. The technician answered all questions clearly and provided some useful tips for spot cleaning future stains. Very good company, happy to recommend them to others.

Steve was punctual, calling a few minutes before he arrived. After I showed him the carpets, he explained the work he would do. The work took 1 1/2 hours, as he predicted. Both carpets look great. The coffee stains are gone, and the wool carpet looks like new. I will call Kingstowne again when I need other carpets cleaned.

Steve Miller was very professional. I was having my kitchen renovated, and decided to get my oriental rugs cleaned. Steve picked them up when he said he would. He called me when they were finished, (in no time), and when I asked, he kindly stored my rugs in plastic for me for over a month so I didn't have to deal with them until my kitchen was finished. Nice guy.

He did a good job on the wall to wall carpet. He was on tIme and worked hard. For the area rug I was totally displeased. I paid up front but the job was not completed on time. It took took twice the amount of time and phone calls were not returned. The quoted price was steep but since he did a good job on the wall to wall I went with him. when the carpet was finally returned it had a very strong disgusting odor. When I asked about it the gentlemen said he had smelled it to and had sprayed a deodorize on it. The carpet was gross.

I was working with a carpet installer to replace the floor on the cement slab on my first floor (Floorcraft) and asked for a recommendation for a carpet cleaner for the stairs and the master bedroom. Marty from Floorcraft recommended Kingstowne Carpet and Upholstery. Steve Miller showed up at the scheduled time. He was very personable but got right down to business. Even though I didn't have any work requested for the main floor, he asked if he could do the area at the top of the stairs (the only area of the room used) and it looked amazing when he was done. I was impressed with the quality of the work, the professionalism and the way the capet looked when it was done.

Steve Miller of Kingstowne Carpet contacted me to schedule a pick up date. I was going to be out of town for the next couple of weeks and he asked me to contact him when I was ready. I did and he scheduled a convenient date/time to get me carpets. He was punctual and professional. The carpets were picked up and returned when promised. They did a great job cleaning them, especially considering my male cat had been using them as an occasional litter box. Steve was honest in letting me know that it was very hard to eliminate all the odor, but they did a great job

The representative was friendly and did what was promised. I will use them again and refer them to others.

Went beautifully. Carpet looks like new. Very little amount of noise. It was dry very fast. Cleaner had a very nice personally and answered all questions.

They picked up the rugs and dropped them off. We were really glad they could do that for us because we didn’t know how we would transport them ourselves. They held on them for us for a little while since we were in the process of moving. They were punctual and flexible with their scheduling especially when they were dropping them off for us. They made sure that the time worked for us even though it was before their normal business hours.
