Kingstowne Carpet & Rug Cleaning is dedicated to providing the best possible rug cleaning in Alexandria, VA and surrounding areas. We specialize thorough, yet gentle cleaning and we use solutions that are safe for kids and pets. We pick up, clean and deliver domestic and imported rugs, taking advantage of our fully-equipped rug cleaning plant! We also provide expert rug re-fringing and repair! We pick up and deliver 98% of the rugs that we clean, but you can drop your rug at our main location every Saturday between 6 AM and 10 AM! Please text or call when you are on your way!

Description of Work: Only Kingstowne Carpets is allowed to clean my carpets. The are responsive and pick-up/deliver to my house and easy to work with and return clean rugs. What more could you ask for... Oh, I think their prices are very nice.

Description of Work: Much more responsive and better value than the larger carpet cleaning companies who advertise in the metropolitan DC area. Have used them twice and will always call them when I need rugs cleaned. My rug had numerous stains. The company called to ask to keep the rug for a few extra days then estimated so they could get out all of the stains. Rug looked just like new!!

Description of Work: I paid $199 for rug cleaning by Kingtowne Carpet & Upholtery Cleaning. The Angie's website indicated that it was a "sale" with the true value of $299. When I called Kingtowne, I was told that there was no sale. I only get the service equivalent to $199. I felt that I was mislead in this transaction and would like to request for a $199 refund to my credit card

First of all, I would like to thank (member name removed) for her feedback, because it helps us to improve and refine our business practices. It appears that our contact with Ms. (member name removed) extended only to phone conversation (there was no actual service provided for her) so there is no documentation of the exchange. It is possible that the 8x10 rug special was being advertised for $199 and (possibly) she had a larger rug which did not qualify for the $199 price or there may have been some miscommunication on our part. In any case, it is important to note that we are very scrupulous and straight-forward about our pricing. We quote exact prices over the phone and NEVER play "bait and switch" games with our customers. If there was something in the Angie's List advertisement that was confusing or misleading, we would love to offer this customer rug, upholstery or carpet cleaning service that would be of value to her. We pride ourselves on excellent service and excellent communication. We want all our customers - and potential customers - to know that our honesty and integrity are central to our customer service philosophy. Description of Work: I had 2 area rugs to clean . I requested that they be picked up at one address and then returned to my new address after I moved. The service was provided exactly as requested, on time , and with excellent communications. The rugs looked beautiful after cleaning and some minor repair to back of carpet was preformed at no extra cost.

Description of Work: The carpet was picked up, cleaned, and returned. Special Angie's list price was honored. It was picked up on date agreed upon. Cleaning appears to be fine. Carpet was not delivered back when originally scheduled. It didn't make much difference to me that it was later coming back, but it might have mattered to someone else.
