Fabulous! They are true professionals and designers as well as knowing all the new landscaping products and tools. We were thrilled!

Mark, our estimator, was prompt and professional. He took into account our budget and needs, was responsive to our questions and proposed adjustments to address our concerns. He made very good suggestions for how to meet our overall goal within our budget. In the end we had a very difficult choice to make, but decided to go with a different contractor. We would have been very happy to have gone with Independence and we will include them in bidding on any future work.

It has gone very well the past six months, including both routine projects and some improvements to drainage and other projects. They have a rigorous fertilization program, which is already paying off in a nicer lawn.

Mark was easy to work with, responsive, professional, funny, and timely. His crew did a great job and my yard now looks like velvet and is putting the other yards in the neighborhood to shame. :) Mark did not try to oversell me. For example, I have a dog and he uses the backyard. Mark didn't even try to sell me sod for my backyard, knowing and understanding that my dog would ruin it. I appreciated that level of honesty and integrity. I would certainly hire Mark's company again. I was so impressed that I purchased the extended care of my yard. Thanks, Mark and crew!

They come roughly once a month. It's different each time because if they are doing two jobs then its twice as much.I don't have them do the entire yard each time so i don't think i ever have the same bill. I think when I went with them that I felt that the pricing was reasonable.

Fantastic. Every aspect of this project went smoothly and was remarkably stress-free. Mark Haller is a total pro. He listened, took in feedback and developed a thoughtful plan in short order. He worked with me to resolve multiple issues with my existing hardscape and came up with creative and beautiful solutions, and worked to get me into their schedule in a reasonable timeframe. He was very responsive whether via email, phone or text which was amazing, given that this is their busiest time of year. Every day I understood when the crew was coming and what they'd be working on. Mark came by regularly to check in and address any questions/issues. Pablo, the crew chief, was awesome and his crew was totally professional. They work quickly but take obvious great care and the final results show it. They did a great job of communicating with me about any questions as they came up. They think ahead and problem solve before proceeding on something and risk making a bad decision that would have to be undone. I had a lot of confidence in their process and their work. The revised footprint of the front walk looks amazing and creates a great presentation for the house. The new walls around my beds are built beautifully and are exactly the right stone color to blend with my existing pavers. There were a number of additional fixes they did to integrate the walls with the walk and wood fence and improve the shape of my existing patio. I had an issue with my shed - only half of it was delivered initially, I had to wait 10 days for another one to be shipped and Mark worked with me to fit in that last project days after they had finished much of the rest of the work. I wish every home improvement project with a contractor went as flawlessly as this one. Can't say enough about how highly I recommend Independence. I'm excited to work with Mark on landscaping for the front and back yard in the spring, and I currently use their lawn mowing and maintenance service as well.

Arrived on time, completed in a timely manner, and gave us a professional look as a starting point for managing our new maturely landscaped yard.

Started right on time, we had a crew here every day that it wasn't raining and they worked non-stop. Great guys and very neat. The first group did all of the heavy work in building walls and walkways and the second crew came in and did finish landscaping with gravel, mulch, plants and sod, the are just finishing up this week (one full week ahead of schedule and so far it looks terrific, a big improvement to the yard.

They came and sprayed our property. We have a swampy pond in back.. Saw lots of dead bugs in the pool and mosquitoes definitely at bay over the next 3-4 weeks. Satisfied.

I searched Angie’s List for a lawn care company to maintain my lawn. Independence Landscape and Lawn Care had very good reviews so I gave them a call for an estimate to provide fertilizing and weed control. When Mark Haller called I explained the condition of my lawn and he scheduled a visit for the same day. I also asked him to provide a price to completely re-sod my lawn along with some minor grading work. I received the estimate the next day and was pleased that the price to redo the entire lawn was quite reasonable. I reviewed a few details with Mark and agreed to have the work done. Due to the weather conditions, my job was scheduled for 6 weeks out but it was worth the wait. The crew did a fantastic job and I am extremely pleased with the results. I look forward to my lawn being cared for on a regular basis and I recommend them without reservation.

Extremely well. Have used Independence for installation of design, hardscaping, fertilization, and maintenance. Consistently excellent, dependable, and just an element of pride that shows in their work. Not the least expensive but tremendous value with everything they do.

It went very well, they did a great job. The patio would have been done earlier but the weather was a problem.

We worked with Chad who was great about going over everything we wanted to get done and explaining our options in detail. They were great about scheduling both of their portions of the project in a very timely manner, as they completed portions of an overall backyard overhaul that involved steps before and after other contractors completed their portions. It was a great experience and we are very pleased with the results.

They did a fine job and are very punctual and return call very quickly. I've been through multiple lawn services through the years and my lawn never looks great. My lawn looks the best it has in years and I would definitely recommend them. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

These guys are really good. Curt has never promised something and then not delivered. Anytime I've had even a minor issue, it's always been fixed in a timely manner. The company isn't the cheapest in the area, but paying a little bit more has been worth it.

Everything went really well, and I really believe that was due to Jimmy Hink. From our first meeting, I just felt Jimmy would be the best person to work with to accomplish what I wanted. It was just a very good working relationship. IL was not the lowest estiimate, but because of Jimmy's desire to work with me, I chose Independence Landscape.

One of the owners came out and listened to our complaints about the drainage. We discussed solutions and he answered all our questions and considered our ideas too. It took several days to dig and install a French drain, dig a long trench across our back yard for a drainage pipe into which 2 downspouts were tied, and to install a larger window well with drainage line. The workers arrived on time and put in a full day of very hard labor digging a very long, deep trench. I was very impressed with their effort and quality of work. The owner came out to check in with us as they neared completion. We finally had enough heavy rain in Mar and April to test this drainage work, and it has performed perfectly. Excellent job.

Curt and team did a wonderful job. Curt provided a competitive estimate and delivered according to the timeline and cost he laid out. The work was very professional, and the clean-up was so thorough that it was hard to tell that the crew had been there at all, except for the great results that were very easy to see. I really appreciated the great work and professionalism of Independence Landscaping.
